Jade went to breakfast without sleeping and after that she tried to study but she fell asleep in the common room with her book on top of her. Draco accioed a blanket and covered her body with it and placed the book on the table. He let her sleep until lunch time.

"Why didn't you wake me up earlier?" Jade whispered. She sounded annoyed but still sleepy.

"Because you need to rest. Your brain is so tired that studying will be a waste of time."

After lunch, the fifth years started their final exam, History of Magic. Jade kept yawning and rubbing her eyes as she was still exhausted, all she wanted to do was to finish and go straight to bed.

She was on question twelve when suddenly she saw an image on her mind. She tried to block it and continue her exam and succeeded, but only seconds later, she was seeing it again.

Jade could see a room, she had seen it before only once. Jade had asked Harry about the place, he had only said he had been dreaming with that place for months but didn't give any more details and Jade didn't ask again.

Then she saw a man being tortured with Crucio, that made Jade anxious. She could feel the pain that man was feeling. Not exactly from the vision but from her own memories. She had seen the man before and even if she hadn't, she would have recognized him from the Daily Prophet, it was Sirius Black.

Shad never seen the second man before, the one torturing Sirius, but somehow she had an idea of who it was.

'This isn't right,' Jade thought as she tried hard to get out of Harry's mind. She even wondered why Harry wasn't trying to get her out too. She couldn't feel any kind of resistance. 'You need to finish your exam, Jade.'

Jade saw quite a lot and then the image just vanished. Disappeared. It was strange how abruptly it ended but she didn't pay much attention to it. She was going to go back to the exam when she heard a lot of people gasping and whispering. Jade looked behind her and saw a lot of people standing up and sort of making a circle.

"What happened?" she asked Ron, who had been next to her all week.

"Harry, he just fell from his desk."

"Why are you here with me and not there then?"

"Because you were muttering," Ron said. "And I was just going to stand up when you asked me what was going on."

Tofty tried to be kind to Harry once he was awake again. Harry kept saying he was fine but by his voice you could tell he wasn't fine. He was agitated and the look in his eyes was alarming.

"I just fell asleep and had a nightmare."

Harry then said he couldn't continue the exam and sort of sprinted out of the Great Hall. Jade tried to hurry and answer questions but not as detailed or long and whoever was going to read that, well, she hoped they could understand her handwriting. She finished the exam in record time. Granger kept glaring at her because of that.

Jade gave her exam to Professor Tofty and then left the Great Hall in a rush, she saw what Harry saw and she needed to speak to him.

Jade sort of jogged around the castle until she finally saw him. She ran to him and tried to stop him but he kept repeating he needed to find "Ron and Hermione" and as he said it, he saw them both at the end of the stairs.

"Where have you been?" Ron asked.

"Voldemort's got Sirius," Harry said.

"How do you know?" Granger asked, shocked.

"I just saw it," Harry told her.

"I saw it too," Jade said and the three Gryffindors turned to look at her, Granger seemed like she didn't believe her. "He was using Crucio on him and asking him to retrieve something for him, right?"

"Yeah," Harry said shocked.

"So, where are they?" Ron asked.

"There's a room in the Department of Mysteries full of shelves with these little glass balls, at the end of row ninety-seven," Harry said quickly and then he sat down as he was shaking. "How are we going to get there?"

"Get there?" Ron repeated.

"What? To rescue Sirius, of course." Ron and Granger gawped at him, while Jade just looked a bit surprised but didn't react like them. "What?"

"Harry, I don't think they are at the Ministry. Just think... how did You-Know-Who get in there without no one knowing? And with Sirius... everyone's looking for him."

Then the three of them started to argue, Granger even told Harry he had a thing for saving people. So Harry got defensive and asked her if she thought he was just trying to be the hero. Jade was just watching the scene.

"And McGonagall was taken to St. Mungos, so there's no one else we can tell," Harry said. "If we don't go, Sirius is dead!"

"We could tell Snape," Jade said quickly. "I mean, he knows what you see, your connection to Voldemort...he could help."

"He would never help," Harry told her, giving her a look, as only she knew why his lessons with him had ended. He would never help Harry after that. "We are alone in this."

"Harry, what if he is only trying to lure you there? What if he wants you to be there?"

"It doesn't matter, I won't let Sirius die!"

Once again they started to argue, Granger was convinced it was only a dream and Harry insisted his dreams weren't just dreams. Then the yelling attracted Ginny and Luna.

Then Granger sort of convinced Harry to use Umbridge's chimney to check if Sirius was in his house and if he wasn't she was going to help Harry, but she wanted to make sure first. So they made a plan.

Ron was going to tell Umbridge that Peeves was smashing things in the Transfiguration classroom, so she could be away from her office. Luna and Ginny were going to be lookouts.

Granger and Jade were coming with him to Umbridge's office, using his Invisibility Cloak, which Jade didn't know he had until now. Jade offered that if she saw any Slytherins along the way she would try to talk to them and get them as far away as possible or at least distract them.

Harry ran to get his invisibility cloak while the other five waited for him at the end of the corridor that lead to Umbridge's office. Luna and Ginny scared students away, telling them there was Garroting gas and they couldn't go through. That cleared the way.

Harry, Granger and Jade being under the Invisibility Cloak, walked forward. Harry used a knife to open the door. They pulled off the Invisibility Cloak and Harry rushed to the fireplace while Granger rushed to the window. Jade just stood there, she shuddered as she remembered the last time she was there.

Harry's face disappeared in the green flames. Jade looked at Granger, who was already staring at her. She felt really uncomfortable as basically it was just them in the room.

"I know you are probably wondering why I'm here with you... I probably wouldn't be if I hadn't seen what Harry saw. I don't know the situation, if this is real or a dream but I'll help. I met Sirius in the summer, he welcomed me in his house so if there's a chance he might be in danger I'll help him."

Granger said nothing, she just nodded at the brunette. Then suddenly, before they could react, the door was opened and Umbridge herself walked in, followed by some people from her squad.

Jade tried to run to get Harry but it was too late, there was nothing she could do. And having people pointing their wands at her wasn't helping either.

"You think that after two nifflers I wasn't going to do anything?" Umbridge asked after she pulled Harry out of the fireplace by his hair. "I had Stealth Sensoring Spells placed all around my doorway after the last one got in, you foolish boy. Take his wand!" Umbridge exclaimed. "And theirs too."

Jade wasn't happy as Pansy took her hand. She glared at her roommate but she only smirked. Millicent Bulstode got Granger's and Draco, Harry's. As usual, Draco seemed like he didn't want to be there but he didn't feel sorry that Harry was in a situation like this.

"Why are you here?"

"I was trying to get my Firebolt," Harry said, Umbridge still had him by the hair.

"Liar! Your Firebolt is in the dungeons, as you know, Potter. You had your head in my fire. With whom have you been communicating?"

"No one."

Umbridge pushed Harry against her desk, Jade gasped, she wanted to do something but what? Soon other Slytherins came in. They had Ron, Ginny, Luna and somehow Neville too.

"So, Potter, you stationed lookouts around my office, sent this buffoon to tell me the poltergeist was wreaking havoc and had two bodyguards next to you," Umbridge said looking at Hermione and Jade. "Clearly you needed to talk to someone, was it Dumbledore or the half-breed... Hagrid?"

"It's none of your business who I talked to," Harry snarled and Jade smiled. Normally it would be her saying something like that.

"Very well," Umbridge said in a dangerous sweet voice. "I offered you the chance to tell me freely. I have no alternative but to force you. Draco fetch Snape."

Jade shot a look to Draco, but Draco only shrugged at her and walked away. Then she glared at Harry. She knew they should have gone to Snape, he would have helped.

Jade looked around her, all the others were being held by Slytherins. Luna was the only one who seemed like she was lost in another world and not struggling to break free. Jade wasn't being held but Pansy was pointing her wand at her. Pansy was smaller than her, Jade was way stronger and Jade also knew she wasn't skillful at all, so, she could easily take her wand even if she didn't have hers. But with Umbridge and other Slytherins in the room it was different, it would be a waste if she tried anything.

Some minutes later Draco came back with Snape, who acted indifferently at what he was seeing. He lingered his eyes on Jade, though.

"I need another bottle of Veritaserum, as quick as you can, please," Umbridge told Snape.

"You took my last bottle. I told you that three drops would be sufficient."

"You can make some more, can't you?"

"Certainly. It takes a full moon cycle to mature so I should have it ready in around a month."

"A month?" Umbridge repeated, her sweet voice was gone. "I need it now! I have just found Potter trying to communicate with someone and I need to interrogate him."

"I have no further stocks of Veritaserum. Unless you wish to poison Potter, I cannot help you."

"You are on probation!" Umbridge shrieked, making her look more like a toad than ever. "Lucius Malfoy always speaks most highly of you, I expected more of you! Now get out."

"He's got Padfoot!" Harry shouted as Snape was turning away to leave. "He's got him at the place where it's hidden!"

"Padfoot?" Umbridge asked as Snape stopped with his hand on the handle. "What is Padfoot? Where what is hidden? What does he mean, Snape?"

Snape stood there motionless, staring at Harry. His face was unreadable though, so Jade couldn't be sure if he got it or not.

"I have no idea," Snape said coldly.

Jade opened her mouth to say something but what would she say? Before she could figure out Snape was long gone.

"This is an issue of Ministry security," Umbridge mumbled. "You are forcing me, Potter. I don't want to but sometimes circumstances justify the use..."

"No," Jade said quickly. "You can't!"

Everyone looked at her as if she was crazy, even Umbridge seemed confused. Draco suddenly understood Jade had listened to Umbridge's thoughts.

"Did I say it out loud? Oh well..."

"The Cruciatus Curse is illegal," Jade told her. Knowing very well what it felt like, Jade wasn't just going to let her use it on anyone. She was deeply angered and insulted that Umbridge was planning to do such a thing and on a underage person.

"The Minister wouldn't want you breaking the law," Granger said quickly, trying to reason with her.

"What Cornelius doesn't know, won't hurt him," Umbridge said with an eager look. She looked excited of what she was going to do. Jade felt sick.

"Oh my God!" Jade exclaimed, listening even more of Umbridge's thoughts.

"Jade, stop!" Draco warned her, knowing she shouldn't do it, especially to Umbridge. If she knew of her 'gift' it wouldn't be good. Snape himself had told her to be careful around Umbridge.

"He never knew and will never know of this, like when I ordered Dementors after Potter last summer."

"It was you?" Harry gasped. "You sent them after me?"

"No one was acting! They were just complaining and bleating about silencing you somehow but only I did something about it. You got out that time but not this time."

Umbridge got her wand, ready to use the curse. Jade was going to take Pansy's wand and at least use Expelliarmus on her, risk being expelled, even going to Azkaban, but she wasn't going to let her use Crucio on Harry or anyone else. But then Granger shouted and told Umbridge she was going to tell her everything, there was no point in keeping quiet. She told Umbridge that they needed to communicate with Dumbledore because the weapon was ready.

"A weapon?" Umbridge asked. "A weapon against the Ministry? What kind of weapon?"

"Yes," Granger cried. "We don't really understand but it's ready and we need to tell him."

"Lead me to the weapon."

"You can't do that," Jade exclaimed, following Granger's game.

"Don't you see? We have no other choice."

"Alright, lead me to it, both of you, Lias this is an order or your parents will know about this." Jade glared at her. "And we will take Potter too."

"Uh, Professor, I think I should come with you... to look after.." Draco said quickly, growing concerned about Jade and wanting to be there to protect her but pretending he was concerned about Umbridge.

"I am a fully qualified Ministry official, Malfoy, do you really think I can't handle these three? And this doesn't sound as something students should see. You will remain here and make sure no one escapes."

Jade and Harry looked at each other confused. Jade felt tempted to look into Granger's head to know her plan, if she had one, but she didn't want to invade her privacy.

What happened with Umbridge, it was an accident but after listening she wanted to use the Cruciatus Curse on Harry she couldn't help but keep listening. She knew Umbridge was too excited that she would never know someone was inside her mind.

"Is it in Hagrid's hut, right?" Umbridge asked as they walked outside.

"Of course not, Hagrid might have set it off accidentally."

"That half-breed oaf..." Umbridge said with a laugh. "Where is it then?"

"In the forbidden forest," Jade said as she saw Granger pointing exactly there. Her tone was cold and arrogant. "Something as important wouldn't be lying around where it could be found accidentally, right?"

"Right," Umbridge said but she didn't sound so cheerful anymore.

"What are you doing?" Harry asked, sort of, he thought of it and he let Jade in. She just shrugged at him.

Jade felt a bit nervous as they walked into the Forbidden Forest. All kind of creatures lived there and she didn't have her wand and Umbridge wasn't that skillful, she couldn't even get rid of the swamp for weeks or stop the twins fireworks while McGonagall and Flitwick easily did it. She didn't feel safe at all.

"Is it very far in?"

"Yes, it's well hidden," Granger said loudly.

They continued to walk, Umbridge tripped once but she stood up quite quickly, pretending it didn't happen. Harry was in between the two girls, he looked really nervous as he didn't like the path they were taking.

"Just a little bit further!"

"Keep your voice down!" Harry demanded. "Anything could be listening to us."

"I want us heard..." Granger whispered. "Come on!"

Then an arrow flew through the air and landed just above Umbridge's head on a tree close to her. Suddenly they felt the floor trembling. Umbridge quickly used Harry as a shield... yep, qualified Ministry Official.

Soon they were cornered by about fifty centaurs, all pointing their bows at the four of them. Jade bit her lip but she still had a brave face on. Or so she thought.

"Who are you?"

"I am Dolores Umbridge, Senior Undersecretary to the Minister of Magic and Headmistress and High Inquisitor of Hogwarts!" Jade rolled her eyes, action that didn't go unnoticed by a few centaurs.

"You are from the Ministry of Magic?" a centaur, called Magorian, asked.

"That's right. Be careful as any attack by half-breeds such as yourselves on humans..."

"What did you call us?"

Jade gasped, loving creatures and the class, she knew a lot about different creatures and centaurs were one of them. She knew what Umbridge was doing was stupid, she would let her if her own life wasn't put in danger by her actions.

"Don't call them that!" Jade exclaimed, horrified.

Then Umbridge went on laws and Jade only sighed. This woman... She even dared say that humars were more intelligent than them.

"Near-human intelligence?" Magorian repeated with rage. "That's a great insult, human! Our intelligence far outstrips your own."

"Clearly!" Jade said, shaking her head in disbelief.

Then she went on and on and on until an arrow flew close to her head, passing through her hair. Jade didn't look surprised but she was really concerned, they could all get killed because of the ignorant toad.

"Filthy half-breeds! Beasts!"

"Don't!" Jade yelled.

"Incarcerous!"

Ropes appeared out of thin air, wrapping tightly around the centaur who shot the arrow, called Bane. He was outraged. He attempted to free himself while the others charged.

Umbridge screamed, she even tried to stun one but her wand fell and one of the centaurs broke it in half with his hoove. Jade could hear Umbridge repeating her position in the Ministry as if that could help her from the centaurs. She even asked Potter to tell them to let her go because she was a nice person.

"Sorry, but I'm not supposed to tell lies," Harry said, sort of enjoying what was happening to Umbridge.

Suddenly, the three of them were lifted from the ground. Hairy arms were around Jade and her heart started to beat fast. What could she do now?

"And these?" The centaur holding Granger asked.

"We do not attack foals."

"They brought her here, Ronan," The centaur holding Harry exclaimed. "And he is nearing manhood!"

"Please, we only wanted to lose her here," Jade said quickly. "She took our wands so we couldn't defend ourselves."

"They came here unasked, they must pay the consequences!" Another centaur said, joining in.

Harry, Granger and Jade kept pleading but the centaurs kept twisting their words but they insisted that was not what they meant.

Suddenly, they heard a crashing noise. Harry was dropped first, followed by Jade and then Granger. The centaurs grabbed their bows and arrows and their attention was on what seemed like a giant.

"Hagger!"

"Get away, giant! You are not welcome here!" Magorian said but it seemed like the giant didn't really understand what he said as his behaviour or even expression didn't change.

Apparently Granger knew what the giant wanted to say as she told him she didn't know where Hagrid was and kept calling him Grawp. The giant was about to grab her when the centaurs shot arrows at him. He howled with pain. He stamped his huge feet and the centaurs tried to get out of the way.

The three of them ran to the trees so they wouldn't be squashed by him. The centaurs were retreating, galloping away. Grawp went after them, furious. Jade could tell how the noise of the centaurs and the giant were fading.

As they walked back, Harry and Granger started to argue again. Harry was furious they had wasted so much time and told her that Sirius could be dead now. Jade just listened and followed them.

"We need our wands," Granger said. "Harry, how exactly were you planning to get all the way to London?"

"Yeah, we were just wondering that," someone said.

They all turned around quickly, they were still a bit jumpy from what just happened. But luckily it was just Ron, Ginny, Neville and Luna. They didn't look good to be honest. There were some scratches on Ginny's cheek, a purple lump close to Neville's eye, Ron's lip was still bleeding. Luna looked the most unaffected.

"How did you get away?" Harry asked.

"Couple of Stunners, a Disarming Charm... a Batbogey hex for Malfoy, brilliant stuff from Ginny," Ron said. "We saw you from the window so we followed you. What have you done with the old bat?"

"She got carried away..." Harry said.

"By a herd of centaurs," Jade added.

"And they left you behind?" Ginny asked, apparently she knew a bit about centaurs.

"Grawp helped us," Granger said.

"Who's Grawp?" Luna asked before Jade could.

"Hagrid's little brother," Ron answered. Okay, that was a shocker. "Anyway, how are we going to do this?"

"Well, flying, of course," Luna said.

Then they wasted more time arguing because Harry wanted to go alone but the others wanted to go and apparently Ron and Jade were the only one who had a broom. Neville argued they were all in the D.A. meetings so they should all come.

"It doesn't matter, we don't know how we'll get there."

"Flying," Luna repeated. "There are other ways of flying without broomsticks... They can fly," Luna said, pointing in front of her, Jade couldn't see anything. "Hagrid says they are very good at finding places their riders are looking for."

"Is it those horse things?" Ron asked when he saw Harry walking towards apparently nothing.

"Yeah," Harry said.

Once again, Harry started arguing saying only Ron, Granger and himself were going, at that Jade had to finally speak up. She felt a bit offended by his words.

"I almost got killed by centaurs for you! I saw what you saw! I've risked everything for you by helping you earlier! I could get disinherited or crucioed or who knows!" Jade exclaimed, only regreting how many details she gave away. "You are not getting rid of me now! I'm risking it, I'll have to come with you all the way! And they are right! If you involved them in this situation and we all are part of something like the D.A. I think they could come to, so Harry, better stop arguing and wasting time and just help us get on those things because we can't see them."

"Fine, but there's only two."

"No worries, more will come," Ginny said.

"How do you know?" Ron asked.

"Because they are attracted by blood, Harry and Granger are covered in blood."

And apparently she was right because Luna announced there were more. They all smiled triumphantly as Harry couldn't say anymore and keep making up excuses.

Hope you liked the chapter :P

Finally Umbridge is gone LOL I just hate her so much!

BTW, I've been really down lately. I went back to playing squash. I started with tennis as it wouldn't be as hard on my knees but the other day my left knee was like stuck, I felt it. And then the next day it felt free but it even got swollen. I could see it. And for the last two-three days I can feel like a snap or click mostly in my right knee and that just worries me as I don't want to go back to rest after 9 months of not doing what I love :( I want to keep positive but it's hard.

I've been putting ice on my knees, taking meds for the swelling and pain and even bought an electrode machine. I've also stretched before and after playing so I've really taken every measure to be okay. I'll see what happens today but I'm still down and worried and concerned and even a bit angry as I waited so long :(
