They found themselves in Dumbledore's office. Jade looked around awkwardly, she didn't know what to do then.

After some minutes, Harry tried to leave but the door surprisingly was locked from the inside. Harry was crying but Jade had never comforted someone before and didn't know what to say or what to do. Sirius died and there was nothing she could say to make him feel better.

Eventually, Harry gave up to try to leave and just stood by the window, looking at whatever was out there. Jade was looking from Harry to the Sorting Hat, to many weird objects Dumbledore possessed.

"Miss Lias, thanks for keeping an eye on Harry here," Dumbledore said, exactly half an hour after they arrived. "I must tell you both that your friends are all okay, being treated by Madam Pomfrey at the moment and everyone in the Order is okay, Tonks might need some more time but she'll be okay."

"Professor Dumbledore," Jade said nervously. "The Death Eaters bounded in the Department of Mysteries... Who...?"

"I'm afraid, Miss Lias, that your brother was one of them," Dumbledore said to her, she suspected it but that didn't mean it hurt less.

"What will happen to him?"

"It depends on what the Minister decides, but most likely, he'll go to Azkaban." Jade only nodded at him.

"Professor..." Jade started, she wanted to talk about her situation. She was sure she wouldn't have a house or a family after what happened. She was ashamed though, so she didn't know what to say. It wasn't like her to tell other people about her problems and worries.

"We can speak later, if you wish," Dumbledore said kindly, noticing she was uncomfortable with the topic. "Now, I think you need to go to the Hospital Wing too."

Jade wanted to say that she could heal herself but she understood that Dumbledore wanted to speak to Harry in private so she nodded and left. The sun was starting to come up when Jade headed to the Hospital Wing, where she saw the other five.

Jade sat on a bed and listened to the others, but she didn't speak. She had other things in her mind. Despite only suffering wounds in her hand and her cheek, Madam Pomfrey made her stay once she healed her.

A few hours passed, it was around midday when Granger started reading the Daily Prophet to them, Harry had joined them by then. Apparently, the Minister couldn't keep denying Voldemort was back.

They also commented how Flitwick got rid of the swamp in three seconds but left a little bit as a monument to Fred and George. Apparently everything was back to normal now that Dumbledore was headmaster again.

They also said that apparently Trelawney and Firenze were both going to be teaching Divination from now on and Umbridge who had been saved by Dumbledore, was there in the Hospital Wing but hadn't said a single word, she was in shock. Madam Pomfrey glared at her every time she passed in front of her.

"What are you still doing here, Jade?" Ron asked her.

Two days had passed, despite being okay, Jade hadn't left the Hospital Wing. She sort of did but went back a few hours later. Nobody, not even Madam Pomfrey, asked why until now.

"Well, if I go down," Jade said, referring to the dungeons. "Draco will just keep shouting at me because I could have died, because I got myself into something that has nothing to do with me and he will keep talking about his father going to Azkaban."

"Well, he deserved it," Ron said.

"Yeah, but it still isn't easy to grasp, how would you feel if you were Draco?" Jade asked and nobody said anything. "And well, the second reason is that people keep approaching me to say awful things to me."

"Why?" Neville asked. "You helped us."

"Yeah but most don't know that, or care. They only care that they read in the Daily Prophet that the newest and youngest follower of Voldemort is Lexion Lias so... there it is. I'm the sister of a Death Eater and they think I will be one too or that I already am."

It was then when Ron understood that Jade felt pretty much like Draco and why she defended him. Her brother was captured and she was having a hard time processing it. She hadn't spoken about it until now. Jade knew it was more than fair, he did something bad and he should pay for it but he was her brother and she loved him and it was hurting her.

Now, it didn't matter that Harry was kind enough to not mention her parents all those months ago. They all knew now... the Daily Prophet read, 'And nineteen-year-old Lexion Lias was captured and taken to Azkaban along with nine other Death Eaters. He had just graduated from Hogwarts School last year, he was the Slytherin Quidditch Captain and a Prefect. His parents, Finley and Raven Lias, despite not being at the Ministry that night and not taking part in this incident, they were known Death Eaters during the First Wizarding War.'

Jade was a bit angry that they briefly mentioned the names of the other Death Eaters that were captured but with Lexion, they sort of gave a summary about him, giving out many details and his picture. She was a bit surprised they didn't mention her, like if she didn't exist at all. She was surprised but grateful that they didn't give more details about her loving family.

Six days after they returned to Hogwarts, they were in the Great Hall when Umbridge tried to leave, undetected. But Peeves chased her around and whipped her with a stick, the noise made everyone stand up and go watch what was going on, none of the teachers tried to control the students, they were actually enjoying the show too.

The next day, during the End-of-Term Feast, Dumbledore gave his usual speech. Gryffindor won the House Cup as usual while Slytherin won the Quidditch Cup. Jade didn't celebrate.

"And that reminds me, Jade Lias, I reassign you as Quidditch Captain of the Slytherin team and it is important to highlight that Miss Lias has broken five records this year and now holds seven records. Now, being the first female Captain that makes Slytherin win."

The Slytherins cheered loudly at her, everyone except Miles Bletchley and Pansy Parkinson. Jade smiled now that she was back at being captain and she blushed as she was now the centre of attention. She didn't even care about the few glares that she got from the students that still thought she was a Death Eater like Lexion.

The next day, a Thursday, they all packed and got on the Hogwarts Express to go back home.

Harry hadn't really spoken to anyone about what had happened and what Dumbledore had said to him except to Jade. He felt more comfortable talking to her as she knew she wouldn't lose her head as Granger would and she wouldn't tell Granger as Ron would eventually do. She would just listen. And he didn't even have to say it out loud, as that was the issue. He didn't want to say it. He couldn't. So he asked Jade to read his mind, which she did after she made sure it was okay.

Jade still struggled to control her mind, especially when she was feeling strong emotions. But now she was a bit calmer than she had been for the last few days.

Harry didn't reveal to her everything Dumbledore had told him, only little things he wanted to share but still wasn't ready to say out loud.

"So, Kreacher lied?" Jade asked. "But house-elves..."

"He told Kreacher to get out so he did and went to Narcissa Black and shared information to her and her sister and Malfoy. After all Kreacher does serve the Black Family," Harry told her.

"I will be more careful with my house-elv..." Jade stopped mid-sentence, and Harry noticed. But didn't ask her about it.

Harry then shared with her that Trelawney was the one who made the prophecy and Albus Dumbledore was the one who heard it and shared it with him but he didn't let her know much about it.

"So, Snape was the one who told the Order where we were? He understood what you tried to say to him."

Jade knew she didn't have to but she hadn't spoken to anyone and it would be fair if she also shared something, and she also needed it. She hadn't even told Draco and she needed to say it to someone.

"When I get off the train, I don't know where I'll go. What if I go to my house and they kill me or punish me? My parents must know I was there, helping you... Lex might be in Azkaban but there are other ways of knowing. So, should I go back, pretend nothing happened or go somewhere else?"

"What if you go to Perseus' house?"

"Do you know how inappropriate that would be? Living with my future husband before getting married or even announcing our engagement?"

"So you are going to marry him?"

"I don't know..."

"Why did Malfoy... Lucius, asked the others to not kill you or harm you? I suppose a traitor is a traitor, isn't it?"

"I can't be sure but I've been best friends with Draco since we were born, inseparable. We spent almost every day together before Hogwarts, I see the Malfoys as my second family, so maybe he sort of cares about me... but you are right... I mean, Narcissa's sister was casted out of the family for marrying a Muggle, no mercy. So, I really don't understand."

"Is Malfoy still angry at you?"

"He's not really angry at me... he is angry at the world, it's not nice having a parent in prison. And he knows my situation with my parents, he just gets concerned about me... Harry?"

"Yeah?

"Can I tell you one more thing that is bothering me?"

"Sure."

"There was a prophecy in there, with my name, it had the same initials so whoever made it, they told it to Dumbledore. I never heard of a prophecy made about me, I don't know what it could be about... I'm not special or anything."

"Why don't you ask Dumbledore?"

"What if it's something bad? Maybe my death or I don't know... I'm scared of knowing but I want to know."

"After what I found out... I think it's better to know than not knowing... not matter how hard the truth might be."

"Can you change a prophecy? Or prevent it from happening?"

"No idea."

Jade stood at the platform for ages, just wondering what to do. She didn't want to go home but at the same time she wanted. She didn't go with Draco because that would be dramatic with Lucius in prison and she didn't want to see Bellatrix, in case she was there.

Then as more time passed she suddenly thought of someone. It wasn't ideal but it would do.

She took a train, her destination was about ten minutes away. Then once off, she walked for another five minutes. She bit her lip as she knocked on the white door of the manor. A house-elf opened the door.

"Is Mrs. Perseus here or Cassius?" she asked.

The house-elf let her in, she left her trunk by the door and walked to the living room where she waited. She fidgeted as she didn't know if she was welcome or not or if it was a good idea.

"Jade, dear, what are you doing here?" Mrs. Perseus asked her as she walked into the living room.

"I don't know," she admitted. The woman smiled at her though. "I'm so sorry for coming unannounced."

"Would you like some tea?" Jade nodded, she wasn't a fan of tea but she didn't want to be rude.

Amberie gestured her to sit down and then she sat in front of her. Her light brown hair was in a high ponytail and her blue eyes gazed at her. Then the house-elf brought the two cups of tea.

Jade thought a lot as she took sips of her tea. What was she even doing there? Cass could be considered her friend but he was closer to Lexion and she was thinking of not marrying him... not because he was nasty or mean or because she didn't like him but because she didn't love him.

"Your parents must be worried about you," Amberie whispered. "Shall we send an owl to inform them you are here?"

"I doubt they are worried," Jade chocked out. "They've got more important things to worry about."

"Right," the woman said. "I'm sorry, Jade. We still can't believe what happened to Lex. It came as a shock. I can't even imagine how you feel."

"I don't even know myself."

Just as she finished her cup of tea, she heard the front door of the house being opened and closed, she didn't know at first if it was Cass or his father.

"Mother?" Jade heard Cass shout. "Why is there a Hogwarts trunk in the entrance? Oh.. Jade... what a surprise."

"Hi Cass," Jade muttered as he walked into the room.

After a brief conversation among the three, Jade followed Cass to a little library they had. He closed the door behind them so they wouldn't be heard.

"You know I like you and don't take this wrong but what are you doing here?" Cass asked.

"I'm afraid of going home," Jade said and for a moment she seemed vulnerable, like a five-year-old child. "If I can still call it home."

"What do you mean? Why wouldn't it be your home?"

"Can I trust you?"

"Of course, we are friends, right?"

"The last time we saw each other, well, things weren't good back home. My father went back to punish me as he punished Lex years ago," Jade said not being able to say he used Crucio on her but Cass understood. "It's a long story but basically I joined a club to practice defensive spells as we weren't allowed to do them in class... Ministry bullshit. And it was illegal. We got caught..."

"What?"

"The thing is only Potter and I did get caught... so I had to pretend we were dating and that's why we were together... otherwise why would I be with a Gryffindor?"

"Wait... so this thing was with Potter? And Gryffindors?"

"And Hufflepuffs and Ravenclaws..."

"And you said he was your boyfriend? You didn't kiss him, right?"

"No, of course not. I just said it so I wouldn't get expelled. It worked. Sort of but Umbridge told my parents and that's why my father was furious. The thing is I don't want to go there and be punished again... or be told that I don't belong in there anymore. I got in more trouble, you see, and I don't know much they know or not..."

"Well, if they sort of disinherited you, we would have known by now as our engagement wouldn't be existent anymore. They would have told my parents and me. Right?"

"I don't know. And... Cass?"

"Yeah?"

"Did you do the same as Lex? Did you join him?"

"No," Cass said with a sigh. "We were supposed to do it together but I didn't."

"Why not?"

"Because someone gave me a sign that I shouldn't," he said and Jade smiled. "And I don't want to... because I don't feel capable of doing what they do. My parents accepted my decision, Lexion was pressuring me to do it, that's why I stopped talking to him. I don't care what he does as long as he doesn't get me involved."

"So he actually wanted to join?"

"Yes, he was excited. Eager. He joined back in February. They delayed it because of your coma. He had been training with the Lestranges. What happened just a few days ago... that was his first real mission. He told me about it. He wasn't sure of the date but it was planned for a while."

"How long?"

" A few months... he failed... and so did the others. As that was his first mission or whatever, I don't know if that means he won't be as punished or if he will be spared."

Then Jade remembered Bellatrix pleading Voldemort to not punish her. Most be really bad if she was pleading like that. Jade felt shivers going up and down her body at the thought. Apparently Azkaban wasn't the worst that could happen to Lex.

"I'm glad I didn't join, I would be there with him now, probably."

"Will you ever join?"

"I don't know... I'm not interested in war. I'm not against him or in favour. I just don't care. I don't understand why so many people are involved. If he wants Potter, then that's it... I just want a quiet life, Jade. Continue with my job, do well. Not worry about dying or being tortured or going to prison. Why do you ask me?"

"I wanted to know what you think... I still haven't grasped what happened to Lex, I guess."

"I'll tell you something... your parents are busy with what is going on. They want him back. And they also want to fix his mistake so they won't pay much attention to you for a while. I think you are safe and if you aren't... well, you can always come back here."

"Would that be inappropriated?"

"My parents would think of something, and they would help you. Jade... why didn't you tell me what your father was doing back in April?"

"Because I don't like feeling how he makes me feel... I guess I'm ashamed I can't fight back and I don't wanna seem like a helpless, stupid girl. If he wasn't my father, I would fight back..."

"You aren't helpless or stupid, Jade. You are clever and you can stand up for yourself." Then he chuckled. "You've showed me several times."

"Thanks... but what if he does it again? I don't think I could take it..."

"If he does, you fight your way out of there and come here," they heard a voice behind them say. Jade turned around and saw Cass' mother, looking concerned. "He might take you out of his family but what he's done is wrong. We don't care, we would still help you even if you weren't considered a Lias anymore. You can count on us."

"Thank you," Jade said, on the verge of crying. Nobody had been so kind to her.

"We'll do something, you are still fifteen, right?" Jade nodded. "I'll send an owl to your parents, saying that we know what is going on with Lex and we didn't want you to go to that mess and sort of protect you from it... I'll tell them I've planned a trip somewhere, for a week or so. During that time, I'll get someone to teach you how to apparate, that way, you can get out of that house if you need to. A broom, or the Floo Network or even a portkey aren't as good and they could get you before you even make it out. So, we'll do that, okay?"

"Okay, thank you again."

Jade was unsure why Amberie was acting like that, after all she did join Voldemort when she was young... or at least her husband did. They were always nice and lovingly towards Cass, so maybe she could actually feel some empathy and that's why she was helping her.

Late at night, when she was alone in the guest room, Jade started to feel guilty. She thought of Draco, of Cass' son... how she didn't want to marry him and wanted a way out. She felt like a very horrible person.

Should she stay the week and accept the classes? She needed them but should she? And should she eventually ask Cassius about Fayette? Did Amberie know...? Most certainly not.

Should she break up with Draco? She loved him but were they really going to run away together? Was it worth it? Or were they just wasting their time? Probably ruining a great friendship in the process.

Hello guys! I'm sorry I took quite a bit I've been busy and tired. I've been going more to the gym and I've been researching certain stuff I want to buy (and resell) and I've been worrying about my ankle as it still is swollen. It happened two weeks ago. (Was it?) And I don't know why but I couldn't concentrate on the story, I just needed to read it and check for mistakes but couldn't.

Anyway, I made a new Draco video I started it yesterday and it's done. Just need to fix a few things and it will be ready! :) This one was easy as I already had the edits, just mixed them up a bit! Hope you check it out when I upload it (probably tomorrow?)

What do you think of Cassius ? And Jade going there?
