It had been a week and a half and nothing had happened. Jade was still staying at the Weasleys', she couldn't complain though, she loved Molly's food. She couldn't say no to 'a bit more' of something.

But she didn't know anything about her family. She wasn't being told much by any of the people around her. She knew her parents weren't in Azkaban, she would have read it in the Daily Prophet by now and her brother was still free... sort of.

"It's quite annoying to know something is up and not being told what it is," Jade complaint to Ron and Ginny.

"Well, I heard something from Lupin last night," Ron said, looking nervous.

"What? Is it bad?"

"They are convinced your parents are involved somehow, I mean, they were Death Eaters, why wouldn't they be now? So they are asking them lots of questions, most about your brother. And your uncle and..." Ron coughed, hesitated a bit but then went on. "If nothing is found they will let your mother go. Your dad on the other hand..."

"What?"

"Neville told Harry and me about an incident last year, he said that during our Defence Against the Dark Arts O.W.L's, while you were being examined... your boggart... Well, one of the examiners clearly recognized who was supposed to be your boggart and heard what he said. He's going to be interrogated about it."

"Great... now he'll think I talked. I might as well just say goodbye now...to my life, family. My last name," Jade said. Ron noticed her hand started to tremble a bit and she kept biting her bottom lip.

"What? What is going on?" Ginny asked, confused.

"I know you might find your parents a bit annoying, unfair at times. But be grateful, Ginny. I wish mine could be unfair in that way," Jade said coldly. "Did you hear anything else?"

"That if they found he had indeed done that, then he was going to Azkaban."

"Well, there's no way of proving it, is there?"

"I don't know. Uh, do you know that Harry's birthday is next week?"

"Is it, already? Hmm, why you ask?"

"There's a mission, he doesn't know about it. We are all in, including you, if you want."

"Sure, except he won't want me there."

"Doesn't matter. We'll bring him here. I know he's upset but he'll come around. In the meantime, try not to make him even more upset."

"He's not upset, Ron. He thinks I knew of the plan all the time and hid it from him, that I used him to warn and help Draco, that I'm in fact just like my family, which would make sense, and he can't really forget that I actually tried to kill Dumbledore. I can't forget it either but that's not the point. He hates me, Ron. And I just have to accept it."

"Come on!"

"It's true."

A few days later on the 27th of July, Jade found herself in a place she never thought she would be along with twelve other people. It was Ron who knocked on the door while she stood between his two brothers.

Harry opened the door and smiled when he saw Ron, both hugged. Then Fred and George walked in, then Hagrid. And then Jade. Harry glared at her, she stared at him for a couple of seconds and then shrugged as she made her way in and stood next to Ron.

Once everyone was inside, Harry led them to the kitchen. Some sat on chairs, while Jade rested her back against the wall. Fred was right next to her, and George next to Fred, but he was on a chair.

"Change of plan!" Mad-Eye Moody informed Harry.

Jade found it a bit odd that Tonks was telling Harry of her marriage to Remus Lupin in such a situation like that one. She looked so happy, though. And she couldn't help but feel a bit jealous or close to jealous. She instantly thought of Cassius and her own wedding, which should be in about a year, if her parents do as they said they would.

Then she looked at Fleur and Bill. Not married yet but the wedding was just in a few days, she had been invited. The two of them looked very happy and in love. How would she look days before her wedding? Probably the same as now. What about on her wedding day? Or days after? Would she ever be happy? Like truly happy?

Mad-Eye explained to Harry they couldn't use the Floo Network or apparate or even use a portkey as all of them could be controlled and monitored, so the only transportation left was brooms, Hagrid's motorbike and Thestrals. He also explained that twelve houses of the Order of The Phoenix had been enchanted and protected instead of just one, so Voldemort wouldn't know in which one Harry would go.

"Okay, I get that but what is she doing here?" Harry asked, looking at Jade, who seemed unimpressed by Harry's words while Ron seemed uncomfortable. "What's the point in protecting the houses if she's going to be with us? She could…"

"We needed her," Mr. Weasley told him. "And she agreed to come."

"What about Hermione?"

"Wasn't available," Mr. Weasley simply said. "Jade was very kind and brave to come tonight."

Brave.

Harry couldn't understand why people kept saying she was brave. She wasn't. She was just a Slytherin who lied, used him. Played with him.

"Anyway, as I was saying, you are going to go to Tonks's parents' house and then take a portkey to the Burrow," Mad-Eye said. "Questions... and not about Jade, please?"

"Yes, won't it be sort of obvious I'm going to Tonks' parents' house when fourteen of us fly off towards there?"

"Ah, I forgot to mention, fourteen of us won't be flying to their house. There will be seven Harry Potters moving through the skies tonight, each with a companion, each pair heading for a different safe house."

"No!" Harry exclaimed loudly. "No way! Not going to let six people risk their lives for me!"

"None of us really fancy it, Harry," Fred told him. "Imagine if something goes wrong and we were stuck as specky, scrawny gits forever."

Jade chuckled silently, Harry noticed, though. But he had to focus on more important matters than Jade Lias laughing.

"Everyone's over-age here, Potter, and they're all prepared to take the risk," Mad-Eye said.

"No. Lias is sixteen."

Jade, Ron and the twins noticed Harry didn't call her Jade but Lias. As when they used to be enemies. The twins turned to look at each other, Jade did nothing to not draw attention to herself and Ron just scratched the back of his head.

"She agreed, nevertheless," Kingsley told him.

"But she shouldn't be allowed to come!"

"To be fair, her abilities aren't of someone that is sixteen and she doesn't have the trace anymore, unlike you. A mistake in the ministry. So, I don't see a problem here."

"Perfect," Harry muttered.

"Now, Harry, we need your hair," Mad-Eye exclaimed but Harry kept refusing.

Jade rolled her eyes as usual, approached him as he argued with Mad-Eye and pulled some hairs out. Harry complaint but Mad-Eye seemed pleased she had done it.

"Really?"

"Well, you already hate me," Jade said with a shrug. "And we need to hurry."

"Right then, fake Potters line up, please," Mad-Eye said.

Ron, the twins, Fleur and Jade lined up. Everyone noticed the sixth person wasn't cooperating. Hagrid lifted Mundungus and dropped him down beside Jade. Mundungus wasn't keen to become Harry Potter, apparently.

Despite knowing how to do that particular potion, Jade had never taken it. The surprise wasn't tasty. She gasped along with the other five and almost threw up. Then, it wasn't unpleasant, but Jade felt like there were bubbles all over her body and a hot feeling.

Ron, Fred and George shrank, their hair turning brown. Jade got an inch or two taller, her hair got shorter and messy and her eyes just became slightly darker. Fleur was about the same height, her golden hair got brown and short. Mundungus grew a lot, got thinner and he got hair.

It was a bit bizarre to look around and see six Potters. Two of them wearing female clothes, and one wearing these fancy, weird clothes (Mundungus). Jade now only knew who was the real one as he was the only one wearing glasses and glaring at her.

"Wow! We're identical!" Fred and George said, making Jade stop looking at Harry.

Then they had to deal with another bizarre part. Undressing and Dressing. The four men seemed alright to take off everything but their boxers while Fleur and Jade just turned to look at each other.

"It's alright, you would look like Harry," Bill said.

"That makes me feel better," the real Harry said, sarcastically.

Still unsure, the two girls took off their clothes quite slowly. It was very weird to see two Harry Potters in female underwear. Jade was the first to take off her bra, leaving her in just her panties. She quickly got some trousers, put them on and then got a shirt. That was probably the most embarrassing thing she had done, even if it actually wasn't her body that was exposed to everyone.

Then once the six of them put on glasses, there was no way to tell who was who, but somehow Jade knew who was the real Harry. He wasn't glaring anymore but the way he looked at her wasn't a welcoming or nice one.

"Good, the pairs will be as follows, Mundungus will be travelling with me, by broom. Arthur and Fred..."

"I'm George, can't you even tell us apart when we're Harry?"

"Sorry, George..."

"I'm only joking, I'm Fred."

"Enough messing around. George with Remus. Fleur with Bill on a thestral. Ron with Kingsley," Mad-Eye said.

"So you are with me," Tonks said to Jade.

Jade had nothing against Tonks, she liked her. She was one of the coolest people she'd known. But she knew Tonks was Draco's cousin and thinking about that made her a bit sad, thinking how bad he was having it at the moment.

"Harry, the real one, you go with Hagrid. We suspect Death Eaters will first go for the Potters going on brooms. Right, let's go."

Jade stared at the winged horse in front of her, as an animal lover, she felt sad and guilty. What if something would happen to him?

"Hmm, you can see it, can't you?" Harry said to her with anger, even a bit of hatred.

"Yeah," Jade said softly.

"Hmm, shouldn't surprise me."

"No. It shouldn't."

Without any more words, Tonks got on the Thestral and then Jade, she held on to Tonks and when Mad-Eye counted to three everyone left.

It hadn't been long when Jade saw a black-hooded figure, she immediately stupefied him. But a second and even third Death Eater appeared.

"Thought they didn't know about tonight," Jade said.

"Yeah...me too."

It sort of sounded almost impossible but after twenty minutes of fighting Death Eater after Death Eater, another came. The way this one moved seemed familiar. Jade stared, the body, things she did, she knew it was a she, and her wand. Somehow she recognized the wand.

"Harry!" Tonks yelled, making Jade react.

Honestly, she was relieved Tonks called her Harry and that she did look like Harry for two reasons. One, because apparently Death Eaters wouldn't kill Harry as Voldemort wants to do that and she would have died for her lack of attention and two, because her mother would have killed her if she knew she was part of that. Pretending to be Harry, helping the Order. She only hoped the potion would last long enough.

Yes, Raven Lias was behind that mask, shooting spells mainly at Tonks, not knowing her daughter was the boy behind Tonks.

Jade felt like she couldn't hex her mother. She raised her wand but the words wouldn't come out. She thought of it, but the intention wasn't there. She just kept doing shield spells to protect Tonks.

"Stupefy!" Tonks yelled and Raven went away. "What happened?"

"I'll tell you when we arrive."

Then three more Death Eaters came, this time Jade did react. The smaller one laughed like a maniac and Jade immediately knew who it was. Bellatrix. She kept attacking Tonks, there was some serious love towards her niece, apparently.

Seconds later, one of the Death Eaters' masks fell and Rodolphus Lestrange's face was revealed. The two of them were more interested in Tonks than 'Harry' or so it seemed. They had just barely gotten rid of the third Death Eater when Voldemort joined. He was flying. No broom, no nothing. How was it even possible?

Jade tried not to shout the spells as they would know she was a fake Potter and maybe recognize her voice.

Fighting two of the most crazy and better Death Eaters and Voldemort wasn't easy, especially when most of their spells were the killing curse.

"Impedimenta!"

Rodolphus Lestrange left. Jade and Tonks kept fighting, aiming at Bellatrix and Voldemort when another Death Eater appeared but this one just came to tell something to Voldemort and then left followed by him.

"Avada Kedavra!"

"Protego!"

Then Bellatrix also got out of sight. Jade turned to look everywhere but she couldn't see her or anyone else anymore.

"We're here!" Tonks told her.

"Where exactly?"

"My house."

It felt good to have her feet back on the ground. Jade had to admit this time traveling on the thestral wasn't as bad because she could actually see what was under her, instead of this invisible animal but last time she didn't have a dozen or more Death Eaters and Voldemort wanting to kill her.

"Damn!" Tonks exclaimed as she went inside the small but pretty house.

"What?"

"We missed our portkey! We're supposed to be the first to get to the Burrow."

Jade put her hand to her forehead to think and felt something sticky. She looked at her fingers and saw blood. She sighed and approached a mirror. She had a deep, longish cut across her forehead, reaching her left eyebrow. Blood was coming down, it had stained her shirt.

"Hurry!" Tonks said, giving her no time to heal herself. "We'll have to go to the Burrow flying. Be ready as they might be waiting for us."

But they weren't. No Death Eaters were waiting for them and they had a calm ride towards the Burrow. When they got there, Lupin ran to them and hugged Tonks lovingly. While Jade just stayed there, petting the Thestral.

"What happened?" Ron asked as he finally saw her. "You're bleeding."

"Probably thanks to my lovely aunt, Bellatrix," Tonks exclaimed. "That's why we were late. She wouldn't leave us, me alone."

"Or my mother..." Jade said with a shrug, looking at Tonks. "She was the one there before Bellatrix."

"Oh," Tonks said, now realizing why Jade didn't attack that Death Eater.

Jade went inside and found out that George had lost his ear. Minutes later when Bill and Fleur finally made it, they announced Mad-Eye was dead and Mundungus had fled. Bill and Lupin left to recover his body.

Jade stood up and looked at herself in a mirror again. She was back to looking like herself. She pointed her wand at the wound, whispered a spell and the wound closed with a little stain feeling and stopped bleeding. She wiped some of the fresher blood but the blood that had already dried stayed there and she didn't care. Instead, she sat next to Tonks and drank some firewhiskey.

Harry was telling people that the motorbike was falling and his wand acted on its own, did a spell he didn't even know and aimed at Voldemort. Harry didn't know where he was. Mr. Weasley said that some times that could happen when someone is in danger, sort of dismissing what happened, which made Harry upset.

Harry drank some firewhiskey, he, Ron and Jade were the only ones in the kitchen now. And it was then when Jade got into his mind. She didn't mean to, all the emotions probably triggered her to open her mind a bit more.

She was seeing what Harry was seeing. Ollivander, talking to Voldemort. He was furious. He wanted to know why Lucius' wand, which he had taken from him, didn't work. Jade was confused for a moment.

"The connection exists only between your two wands."

"Lies!"

Then she forced herself out. She didn't want to intrude more. Especially in Harry's mind. Harry was shaking and Ron had to sort of break the trance. Then he explained to Ron what he had seen. Their wands are connected as they were made from the same Phoenix feather, that's why he tried with another wand, Lucius', but they sort of connected too.

Later, Jade finally cleaned her face and redid her hair and sat on a couch in the living room. She didn't want to go to Ginny's room. She didn't sleep all night, and it wasn't because George talked to her from time to time, but because she had a lot in her mind.
