Jade felt extremely nervous as she got off the train, she had a hoodie over her head. Draco found his mother, who greeted them quickly and then they apparated to the Malfoy Manor.

There, Draco, Jade and Narcissa had some tea and had some small talk. Jade was still nervous. What if Narcissa thought that she had ruined Draco's life? And the Malfoys' reputation? What if she didn't agree? What if she told them they had done the most stupid mistake of their lives? What if she hated Jade?

When they were done with tea, Lucius called Draco, with a face and a grunt he got up and went to his father's study, leaving Narcissa and Jade alone. Jade had never felt so awkward around Narcissa.

"Do you know what I told Draco once?" Narcissa asked and Jade shook her head, making eye contact for a couple of seconds. "That I wished I could change his bride. That I always hoped you two would be together, even as babies everyone could see the connection you both have."

"Really?

"When Draco told me, I was happy. I mean, of course I would have wanted things to be different and I'd have wanted to be there and for you to not be so young... especially you," Narcissa told her.

"So... you don't think we should have waited? That we made a mistake?"

"It wasn't only Draco who looked for you when you were taken by your own father. And Draco told me they used Imperio on you. Sometimes waiting is not an option," Narcissa said. "He explained everything, Jade. Don't worry. I've always been fond of you and loved you like a niece... so stop being so nervous, okay?"

"So, are you okay with what we did?"

"What do you want me to say? I do wish you could have waited and at least invited me but I understand. Your parents lost their heads," Narcissa said. "And don't worry, okay? About your parents... You are a Malfoy now and we help our own... even if you weren't, you could have trusted us, even Lucius. And don't worry about my sister or Rodolphus. They understand the meaning of family, they won't say anything."

"But what if Rodolphus tells my mother?" Jade asked. "They are family."

"He won't," Narcissa said pretty sure. "You're already married... there's nothing they can do, anyway. After being with my sister for so long, he will do anything to avoid any unnecessary drama."

"What will happen to Draco? To his fiancée?"

"We'll pretend we didn't know. No one has to know for now. I didn't even like her to be honest. And nothing will happen to Draco. I accept his decision. We still have to tell Lucius but he's been better lately. He will accept it too," she said. "By the way, Jade, the ring fits you perfectly. I'm glad you have it."

"Thank you, Mrs. Malfoy. Draco said you gave it to him so he could pass it on to me."

"I felt like it was time," Narcissa told her. "No one else but you deserved that ring. Names, Jade, are a funny thing. Since that day when you asked me about it when you were five, I knew it should be yours. Jades for a Jade. Seems right? Right?"

Narcissa, much to Jade's surprise, had assumed the two of them would share a room and hadn't prepared a room for Jade. She blushed instantly and Draco looked a bit uncomfortable.

"You are married, aren't you?" Narcissa exclaimed. "Well, I guess in Hogwarts sharing a bed isn't allowed. You just need to get used to changes."

After that, the house-elves got a room ready for Jade but Narcissa had made it clear that she wouldn't mind if Jade stayed with Draco.

Jade stayed a long time talking with Draco about silly things. For once, Jade was laughing and had forgotten all about Horcruxes, her family and even Leo, only for a little bit.

"Do you remember when you stole Lexion's wand and we attempted to do easy spells?"

"Yes, and we got a visit from the Ministry? Misuse of magic they said, right?" Jade said laughing. Back then, Jade was only seven. "Lexion was saying he didn't do it and my parents didn't believe him but then they found us. And my mother said that it was wrong but she was impressed with what we've done."

"Yeah, I remember that," Draco said laughing.

"Or when we went to the Muggle village and got Lucie, levitated her out of the house. And her owner saw the cat 'flying' and he called the police," Jade exclaimed. "Again, we got in so much trouble for that."

"But we eventually didn't because they thought it was a kind act. Rescuing that little cat from that horrible Muggle. Who would have thought my mother would love that cat so much?"

After they rescued the cat, Narcissa had kept the cat until they would find her a home, but Narcissa loved Lucie so much she kept her. Draco was just nine and Jade eight. Lucie had died two years ago from old age while Draco was in Hogwarts.

They kept remembering stuff and laughing at the top of their lungs. Little did they know that Lucius was on the other side of the door, crying.

Draco's laugh had been something he hadn't heard for a very long time, probably close to five years, and he missed it terribly. All he could see was Draco's hatred and resentment towards him and suffering and loathing from what had happened to them in the last couple of years, especially when Draco was punished for Lucius' mistakes, something Lucius would never forgive himself for.

Actually, since he had been out of Azkaban, Draco hadn't said much to him, only what he needed to say. If he spoke, it was to his mother. Lucius didn't blame him, whatever they had done to Draco, it had been his fault.

Lucius was still completely oblivious to Draco's situation concerning Jade. He actually was going to ask Jade to go to her room as it was quite late when he heard them laughing and sharing old stories. He couldn't bring himself to interrupt that, it reminded him of when Draco and Jade were five or six and he had believed all these dark times were over for good.

It was a Wednesday, Jade had been there for a few days already. It was the first time she had seen Bellatrix even when she basically lived at the Malfoy Manor now, taking into account the amount of time she spent there.

She didn't say anything to Jade, neither did Rodolphus later when he joined in. Jade felt at some point that someone was in her mind, she was thinking of Fayette and her trip to France when she felt something weird.

Quickly, she thought of something else and tried to block her mind, she wasn't that skillful as what Snape had taught her was to not read minds uncontrolled, not to not get her mind read.

"Hmm, good. You're skillful-ish, most people can't even feel me" Bellatrix had said to her. "Who taught you?"

"Occlumency? Snape did," Jade said, deciding it was better not to lie.

Bellatrix didn't say anything else but she seemed satisfied. Jade sat there next to Draco, looking at her uncle and aunt-in-law. She had obviously inherited those genes. Her features, some facial expressions, even some habits she had, she saw them all in that part of her family.

And the dark hair was obviously from the Lestranges as the Lias family was blonde or redhead with bright blue eyes, Lexion looked more like them.

Rabastan once had said that his grandmother, to whom he was really clos, had had brown greenish eyes and that Jade had probably gotten her eyes from her. Her own mother had green eyes but they were so different in colour and shape, and they didn't change colours like Jade's eyes.

Jade assumed that's why Rabastan liked her so much. She was more like a Lestrange than a Lias, while Lex looked more like a Lias. Someone who didn't know her, would have believed the two people in front of her were her parents instead of her uncle and aunt. Even Rabastan could pass as her father, based on looks. So far, Lex and Jade were the only grandkids on the Lestrange side. Rabastan and Rodolphus didn't have a single child, so maybe Rabastan liked that the genes could live on, as weird as that sounded.

Later that day, Jade overheard that there were some prisoners in the dungeons. She wanted to hear who, but they never mentioned their names, but she knew it was more than one person and there was one baby.

Jade had heard it two nights ago but didn't think much about it, as she was very sleepy and she thought it was a dream. That same afternoon, Jade went close to where she thought the noise had come from. She wandered around for a bit more than an hour until she heard it.

She rushed to the room, opened the door and saw a crib. She walked to the crib and saw a small baby crying. It was a boy and he must not be more than three, even two months old.

A House-elf appeared close to her and was surprised to see her there. She took the baby in her thin arms and fed him.

"Whose baby is it?" Jade asked her.

"I'm not allowed to say. I only serve the Malfoy Family and Black Family."

"I'm Draco's wife, I'm a Malfoy now. I order you to tell me."

"The prisoner's."

"Who is the prisoner?" Jade asked.

"Reamer doesn't know. Mistress Bellatrix won't tell us."

Jade left and went to look for Draco. She asked him if he knew anything but he was so surprised to know there were prisoners in his home he barely paid attention to the baby part.

Both tried to go down to the cell but Peter Petigrew wouldn't let them and there were also enchantments around it. Defeated, they went up to their rooms.

The next day, Draco and Jade took it easy. They went down to eat breakfast and then they went back to Draco's room.

Jade lied down on the bed, and within minutes Draco went from his place next to her to resting his head on her stomach. Jade couldn't help but run her fingers through Draco's platinum blond hair. It was so soft, and thin.

"We'll tell my father tonight," Draco suddenly said. "My mother said she would but as a man, I think it should be me the one who tells him."

"What do you think will happen?"

"I don't know," Draco admitted. "He likes you, I know that. But I'm not sure if he will be okay with the fact that I went against the rules. And that I actually did it in secret."

"I'm sorry," Jade said suddenly. "We can still undo it... you don't have to get in trouble for me."

"What do you mean, undo?" Draco asked, lifting his head and looking straight at Jade, he was supporting his body on his left elbow.

"We haven't consummated it yet, have we? We could undo it if you want..." Jade said, biting her lip.

"You know the only two reasons why I would undo it?" Draco asked and Jade shook her head. "One, if you wanted to. Two, I'd do it only to marry you again and do it right this time, with my mum there, maybe some other people."

"Only those two?" Jade asked and Draco nodded, moving closer to Jade so now their faces were only a couple of inches apart.

"Only those two," Draco said and kissed her lips. "I love you, Jade."

"I love you too."

After another kiss, Draco went back to his previous position, except this time he had his right arm around Jade. They took a small nap like that, sharing a bed for the first time and then they went down to eat lunch.

Jade noticed that Lucius had caught sight, finally, that she was wearing the ring that had belonged to the Malfoy family for years. He didn't say anything but kept eyeing it from time to time, as if making sure if it was the same ring.

Draco and Jade went back to his room, wanting to sleep more. But Draco couldn't. He kept turning around, he was nervous about telling his father the news of his marriage.

Lucius knew to an extent what had happened to her, as Jade's godfather he had been invited to the wedding but due to work wasn't able to go. He still didn't know the length that her father went through to force her to marry Cassius, thing they would have to explain, and Narcissa would give word that everything was true.

He didn't care much about his opinion or feelings but he knew that Jade cared so he didn't want his father to be nasty. He didn't even know how to bring it up. 'Father, Jade is now your daughter-in-law'. Or 'Jade and I are married'. Or 'I married Jade because I love her'.

Draco opened his eyes. He was frustrated. He just wanted to do it the right way so Lucius wouldn't react too badly... if that would even help.

Draco turned to look at Jade, who was awake. As she looked at him he felt like she read him, like he couldn't hide anything from her. Jade offered him a smile, knowing what he was thinking.

"I could tell him, you know?" Jade said. "He was looking at the ring earlier and he isn't stupid. He's going to realise what's going on soon enough. I can go down and tell him, you know?"

"That's not your job, Jade."

"Why not?"

"Because he's my father, not yours. And because I should be brave enough to tell him," Draco said.

None of them said anything else about the topic. Draco moved his hand to caress Jade's face. She smiled. Draco didn't regret what he had done, maybe at times he wanted to change certain things, like not having to rescue Jade, or getting married in a place in the middle of nowhere. Making her get married in the dress her parents chose, not the one she wanted. She looked beautiful anyway.

Jade looked as beautiful as on that day. Jade looked tired and a bit worn out but she was beautiful. Draco never imagined he would be lucky enough to marry her or even kiss her one day but it had all happened. He felt like the luckiest guy in the world thinking that the girl next to him loved him back.

Thinking about that, Draco couldn't help but kiss her. He pulled away but Jade put a hand behind his head and brought him closer again. Draco didn't resist, instead he gave in.

Draco deepened the kiss and after some time his hand travelled down to her stomach, he hesitated, not wanting to ruin it, but he put it under her shirt. Draco felt how she tensed up slightly but she didn't stop him, she didn't pull away like she had done earlier that year.

Draco didn't venture to touch anything else but her waist, he was going super slow and he was okay with it.

They heard a knock on the door and they broke the kiss, Draco looked frustrated. He ignored it and his lips found Jade's again. They heard the knocking again.

"What?" Draco yelled.

"Draco, your mother requires your presence immediately."

"Now, Pettigrew? Can't she wait?" Draco complaint.

"I'm afraid not." Draco sighed. Draco kissed her one more time on the lips and then on her forehead.

"I'll be right back.

Draco fixed his hair quickly and opened the door, revealing a fat, ugly man. He closed the door and Jade heard their footsteps getting fainter.

She waited but Draco wasn't coming back. Not wanting to intrude but at the same time wanting to know, Jade went down the stairs, where she started to hear more voices.

Jade froze, there in one of the living rooms she saw three unknown people with Fenrir Greyback, and two people she recognized too well. Granger and Ron and in between them she saw a guy, but his face was so distorted that he didn't look like Harry.

Lucius kept asking Draco if he recognized Harry, Draco kept saying he wasn't sure. And when he was asked if that was the Mudblood he said 'maybe' and when he was asked if the redhead was Arthur Weasley's son, he said that it could be, but he couldn't tell.

Bellatrix had then walked in from the second door. She was a bit surprised to see all these strangers in the house. She didn't seem too troubled with the three teeanagers, she simply stated that the Dark Lord should be called if that was Potter. And once again, Draco claimed he couldn't be sure if it was him.

"Call the girl, then," Bellatrix said and Jade froze. "She's also in school with them. She should know."

"She's sleeping," Draco said quickly.

"Well, let's wake her up."

"She's a guest, Bella," Narcissa told her.

"Are you sure about that?" Bellatrix told her with a look and a mocking tone. As Draco's wife, she didn't count as a guest.

Narcissa knew a lot, but she and Lucius and Bellatrix didn't know Jade was friends with the people in the room. They didn't know she had spent weeks with them in different parts of the country, helping to destroy their Lord.

"I shall summon him, Bella, this is my house, therefore, it is upon my authority..." Lucius said but Bellatrix laughed.

"You lost your authority when you lost your wand, Lucius."

"Don't forget that we caught him, we'll be claiming the gold," Greyback said.

"Gold? Take your gold, filthy scavenger! I seek only the honour of..." Bellatrix's voice and her laugh faded. she seemed to be looking at something. "Do not summon him, Lucius! If you do, we shall all perish! He can't come now!"

Bellatrix started asking questions about the sword, Jade hadn't seen it until then. Bellatrix completely lost it when she saw it. She had stunned a snatcher and within seconds the other two were on the floor too.

"Where did you find the sword?" Bellatrix asked the Werewolf, Greyback. The only conscious one. She took the sword from him quickly. "Snape sent it to my vault in Gringotts."

"It was in their tent!"

"Draco, move this scum outside," Bellatrix said then.

"Don't you dare speak to Draco like..." Narcissa started to say, indignantly.

"Be quiet! The situation is graver than you can possibly imagine, Cissy. This is very serious," she exclaimed with panic in her voice. It was so weird to see her being scared. "Don't harm him, if it's really Potter, The Dark Lord will wish to dispose of Potter himself. Place the prisoners in the cellar, and someone go get my niece! She will be able to identify him!"

"This is my house, Bella! You don't give orders in here!" Lucius exclaimed. "And if it's as serious as you say, I'd rather Jade and Draco out of this."

"You have no idea of the danger we are in! Do as I say!" Bellatrix shouted, eyeing everyone in the room. "And bring the girl at once!"

Greyback grabbed Ron and Harry by their collars, Granger was supposed to stay. Jade hid quickly so he wouldn't see her. As silently as possible, Jade followed him, she sort of knew where the cellar was but she wanted to make sure that's where he was taking them.

When Greyback went back upstairs, Jade hurried down the last steps and looked at his friends from the other side of a gated door.

"Shut up, Ron!" Jade half shouted as Ron kept yelling 'Hermione'. "That won't help one bit."

"Jade? What are you doing here?"

"Doesn't matter, we need to get you out of here!"

"Harry?"

Ron and Harry turned around to look at the source of the unknown female voice. Jade only looked past the two boys. There, they saw a blonde girl with long hair and blue eyes. Luna. Jade immediately froze.

"Are there other girls in there?" Jade asked her.

"No, it's just me... Dean, Mr. Ollivander and a Goblin."

Jade's brain was working hard as Luna tried to undo the ropes around Harry's hand and then Ron's. The baby upstairs... it must be hers. The house-elf had said he was the son of a prisoner and she was the only girl in there. And it couldn't be the Goblin's or Mr. Ollivander's. And she really doubted Dean could be the dad. So that only left Luna. But… it couldn't be could it?

Granger's loud and horrible screams interrupted Jade's thoughts. By then Ron had used the Deluminator to light up the room. Jade could see Dean Thomas and a Goblin who seemed barely conscious.

Inside, Ron tried to disapparate or try to find another door. Outside, Jade was trying every spell she knew but nothing was working. Harry had taken out a broken piece of mirror and stared at it, he said 'help us' to it but no one had heard him.

"Draco, fetch the goblin!" Lucius had said when Granger had said the sword was a fake.

Jade panicked. Harry told the goblin to say the sword was a fake, he repeated it but the goblin didn't move, not even to nod. Jade was going up the stairs, quickly, and on the last step Draco caught her.

"What are you doing here?" Draco exclaimed. "It doesn't matter... help me. Fetch the goblin. Do it or we are all dead."

Draco was pointing his wand at the prisoners as Jade walked deep into the cellar, she mouthed sorry to her friends before she grabbed the Goblin by the arm and dragged him outside and up the stairs, as Draco locked the cellar again.

"How did you open it?" Jade asked.

"It's my mother's wand, not a spell that opened it. I can't give it to you or they'll suspect. You must go grab your stuff and leave. If Auntie Bella calls him... I don't know... I just don't want you here. You know Auntie Bella is not usually scared... Something serious is going on. I don't want you here, Jade! Grab your stuff and go! Do it!"

"Go where?"

"Far."

"What about you?"

"Don't worry about me."

Draco seized the Goblin and left, Jade didn't listen, as usual, she went down the stairs again. She found out Dobby had apparated inside the room.

"You can get out?" Jade asked him. He nodded.

"And you can take humans with you?" Harry asked. Dobby nodded again. "Right, Dobby, I want you to grab Luna, Dean and Mr. Ollivander, and take them to..."

"Bill and Fleur's," Ron said quickly. "Shell Cottage on the outskirts of Tinworth." Dobby nodded again.

"I can't go!" Luna exclaimed, Ron and Harry looked weirdly at her.

"Don't worry, Luna!" Jade said quickly. "I'll get him. Don't worry."

Luna seemed anxious but nodded. It was then when they heard a voice ordering Wormtail to check on the prisoners, as they had heard noises coming from the cellar. Jade stood where she was, knowing she wouldn't be quick enough. Dobby had disapparated with Mr. Ollivander and Dean, leaving Luna.

"What are you doing here, girl?" The fat, ugly man she had seen earlier exclaimed.

"Didn't you hear?" Jade said in a duh tone, her southern English accent was a bit more notorious at the moment. "My Aunt wants me to identify the prisoners. I was told they were brought here, but without proper light I can't really tell. Open the door!"

"But..."

"Open it!" Jade ordered once again and Ron could easily tell how much alike she looked and sounded to Bellatrix, it gave him goosebumps. "Go on! Or I'll tell my aunt you don't want to cooperate!"

Wormtail opened the door at once, shivering slightly. He walked in, followed by Jade. Then Harry and Ron launched themselves upon him. They struggled against him, Jade took his wand quickly. Suddenly, Wormtail's hand closed around Harry's throat

"Are you going to kill me?" Harry asked him, as he choked a bit. "After I saved your life! You owe me, Wormtail!

Then his grip got loose around Harry, which was a surprise to the three of them. Harry freed himself. The man looked terrified at what he had done. He tried to get back at Harry but he couldn't.

"No!" he shouted.

His eyes went from Harry to his silver hand. He tried to fight it but the hand seemed to be acting on its own accord. It was strangling him. Ron tried to help him but it didn't work. He dropped to the floor on his stomach, dead.

"I'll meet you down, okay? I've got a plan. Just give me a minute," Jade said after she recovered from the shock.

"Hermione doesn't have a minute," Harry exclaimed.

Jade told them her plan quickly and passed Wormtail's wand to Ron, then when she got to the top of the stairs, she disapparated. Once in her room, she called Ilvie, who at once appeared in front of her. Jade quickly told her where to go as she gave her her backpack with all her important stuff.

Then she walked into the room with the baby. She didn't have time to think, so she quickly grabbed him and gave it to Ilvie.

"Take the backpack and the boy to where I told you," Jade said quickly. "Keep him safe. The mother is called Luna, Okay? Give the baby only to her… or me! Now go!"

Jade apparated just by the end of the stairs where she saw the other people in the room. Ilvie had gone with the baby boy.

Jade didn't know what had happened, she had told them to not reveal themselves yet but there they were. All eyes on the two of them. Jade decided it was better to act now. Improvise a bit.

"What's going on?" she exclaimed, walking into the room, distracting them all.

Suddenly, Harry had grabbed Jade, he had an arm around her collar bones, holding her tightly against him and with the other hand, he was holding a wand, pointing it at Jade.

"Do anything and I'll kill her," Harry exclaimed. Jade pretended to be scared but she wasn't. That was the plan... sort of, even if it wasn't, Harry wouldn't hurt her, right?

Narcissa and Draco wouldn't do anything, Lucius was wandless. Bellatrix was hesitating, Jade was family after all and she was busy doing the same Harry was doing but to Granger and with a knife instead of a wand. As Jade looked closely at the wand Harry was using, she realised it was Bellatrix's wand. She had absolutely missed something.

"Doesn't matter!" Bellatrix said. "The Dark Lord is coming! Harry Potter! Your death approaches."

"And so is your niece's!" Harry shouted, grabbing the wand more firmly. She was pressing the wand to Jade's throat so hard that he was actually harming her. Jade decided to blame it on the adrenaline and the heat of the moment.

"Doesn't have to be like this, Potter," Jade said, playing along. Spending some time over there had really made her southern accent be thicker... or maybe it was all the pretending she was doing.

"Shut up!" Harry yelled.

"Please!" Draco suddenly said, Jade could see how scared he looked and she felt bad.

"Want her back, Malfoy? Give me back my friend!" Harry said, meaning Granger, who was unconscious in Bellatrix's grip. For a moment, he felt the urge to tease Draco about having Jade in his arms, but he knew that would be a low blow and it wasn't really the right time and it wouldn't help the cause at all, so he didn't say anything else.

"That's not going to happen!" Bellatrix yelled.

Then, they heard a grinding noise coming from above. All of them looked up and saw the chandelier tremble. It began to fall. Bellatrix was right beneath it, she dropped Granger and jumped aside just in time.

The Chandelier crashed on top of Granger and the goblin. Crystals and chains broke into tiny pieces. Ron ran to pull Granger out of there. Harry let go of Jade for a bit, went to Draco's and grabbed the wands they had taken from them from the very start. Draco didn't struggle much.

Harry then pointed a wand to Jade and she pretended not to have one to defend herself. He grabbed her again and Jade didn't do anything, just looked at Draco. His hands and part of his face were bloody from the pieces of crystals flying into every direction when they crashed.

"Stupefy," Jade whispered, pointing her wand at Greyback who was going towards Ron and Granger. It was hidden in her sleeve so no one knew it had been her.

After Narcissa got Draco up, as he was quite wounded, she pointed her wand to the door, probably to lock it.

"Dobby!" she exclaimed, seeing the house-elf for the first time. "You! You dropped the chandelier!"

"Kill him, Cissy!" But Narcissa's wand flew out of her hand then. "How dare you take a witch's wand? How dare you defy your masters?"

As Bellatrix and Narcissa were focused on Dobby. Jade lifted her arm and pointed her wand at Draco, without uttering a single word, she started to heal him. It was the least she could do.

"Dobby has no master! Dobby is a free elf!"

"Grab Griphook, Jade!"

Jade did it but never lowered her other hand. Ron and Harry seized Dobby's hand so they could disapparate together. Ron had Granger, while Jade had Griphook, who had the sword, and Harry was holding her, again, with his arm around her neck.

A moment later, they hit solid ground, and Jade heard the ocean. Jade looked around and saw a cottage not so far.

"Dobby, is this Shell Cottage?" Harry asked. "Is this the right place?

It was then when all of them noticed the bloody rags on the house-elf. Jade gasped as she looked at the knife, which was buried right in his chest.

"No, Dobby!" Harry exclaimed as he ran to Dobby, so he fell on Harry's arm. "Help! Help!"

Harry kept telling Dobby not to die, Jade had gotten her wand out and tried to heal him but it was different on elves... her spells weren't working. She tried harder.

Dobby's eyes looked at Harry's. His lips formed a smile, like if he somehow was at peace. "Harry... Potter..." he whispered and then he didn't move again. Ron had to grab Jade so she would stop trying more spells... It was too late.

Jade cried, she had known Dobby all her life. And he had died saving them. Harry was still in shock. He was shaking.

Bill had come out from the cottage and taken Granger inside. Everyone was so shocked that they didn't notice. Harry finally broke the trance and pulled the blade out and covered Dobby's body with his jacket. Dean came then, who carried the Goblin inside the Cottage. Everyone else had wounds but they weren't that bad.

Harry asked for a spade and then he started digging, Jade helped. Harry, though, seemed like he was letting out his anger and grief on the digging as he was doing it furiously.

Then they were joined by Dean and Ron, who had helped carry Hermione and the Goblin inside and stayed there for a bit. They also had brought spades.

Then, Harry carefully carried the body and set him down. Ron and Jade took off one sock each and placed them upon the elf's bare feet. Dean produced a woollen hat, which Harry placed on his head, covering his bat-like ears. Luna, who had come too, closed his eyes.

They all said words to thank him and say goodbye to the elf. Bill then raised his wand and earth covered the elf's body. Jade made a beautiful white rose and laid it on top of the grave. Harry asked to be left alone there, so everyone else walked to the house.

It was Bill who had healed Jade's wound, which she didn't even know she had. Sadness and shock were overwhelming her. And fear too... but not for her... for Draco. The Dark Lord must be at the Malfoy Manor now and Potter wasn't there. She didn't even want to think of his rage at being disturb for nothing and only that but letting Potter escape.

While Harry spent time outside, Bill told them that all his family had been moved to Aunt Muriel's house. Luckily, Ginny was also at the Burrow for the holidays, at the time that they were moved. They had been staying there now that people knew Ron was with Harry and therefore, considered traitors.

Jade had sat down next to Luna at the dining table, they were the only ones there, the others were in the living room but everything was connected so they could still hear Bill.

"He is Ron's... isn't he?" Jade asked Luna in a whisper that no one else heard. The blonde girl nodded. "Is Ilvie still up there?"

"Yes, she's looking after him."

"This might be your only chance... so tell him," Jade told her and for the very first time, Luna seemed really scared. Her face went pale.

"Thanks, by the way, for getting him out," Luna whispered.

"Don't thank me, thank Ilvie."

Jade had stood up then, going outside, she also needed time alone. She took off her trousers and shirt and got into the cold water. But Jade didn't quite feel it. There, in the water, she cried.

Bellatrix had warned Lucius not to summon him unless they were absolutely sure it was Harry. And the terror in her voice and eyes after she noticed the sword was 'stolen' from her vault. But Jade knew it hadn't been taken, the fake was probably there. But she couldn't get out of her head that terror she had never seen in Bellatrix before. So, if Bellatrix was scared, it was graver than Jade could even think of and she was terrified for all of them, but mostly for Draco. What if he was going to kill Draco?
