"I'll be Bellatrix, she's my aunt!" Jade exclaimed.

"No, I'll be her, you don't even have to use Polyjuice potion or hide. If people spot you with Bellatrix they won't find it weird as she's your aunt," Granger said.

"Actually, it'll be weird because the reports say that Jade has been kidnapped," Ron said.

"Yes, but wasn't she seen in Hogwarts? At least the Carrows know that she wasn't kidnapped some weeks ago," Harry added.

"But you kidnapped her again, remember?" Ron said to Harry. For once, Ron was being the smart one, paying attention to the details. "We are talking about recent reports. You literally took her away in front of the Malfoys and Bellatrix Lestrange."

"You are right," Harry whispered.

After half an hour of arguing, Granger finally found a solution or so she said. A game called 'paper, rock, scissors', she explained it to Jade and she agreed.

"On three... one two three."

Granger chose the scissors while Jade's hand was into a fist. Granger looked angry and Jade knew she had won, she hadn't fully understood the rules of that game so luckily her face gave it away.

They got the black, curly hair from Granger's sweater. There was no doubt it belonged to Bellatrix. As they gathered their stuff and Jade prepared herself to drink the potion, Ron went to say goodbye to Luna and his son.

The potion did taste horrible, Jade even puked. She did her hair the same way Bellatrix did it or tried to and checked herself on the mirror. Dark eyes were looking back at her,it was so weird to be her.

She joined the others, outside. Ron was holding Jade's backpack, the way Granger did his hair and the clothes he was wearing made him look like a Death Eater and way older than he was. Long, wavy, dirty hair that reached his shoulders, a moustache, a different type of nose and lips and black clothes. Granger's appearance had also been changed. She had straight blonde hair but it was messy, blue eyes, the same spell that was used on Jade's for Bill's wedding was used on Granger, she also had darker skin and she had to curve her back so she looked smaller and older, her face was covered in so many freckles it was hard to tell it was Granger. Harry and the Goblin were going to be under the invisibility cloak.

"Before we go... we are breaking into the safest place in the wizarding world. This will be way harder than what you did at the Ministry. We might have to do things we are not comfortable with but we'll have to," Jade said. "I'm talking about magic we haven't used."

"You mean like the Cruciatus?" Ron asked, horrified.

"No, by the time you are torturing a Goblin, another five will attack you. I'm talking about the Imperius curse or similar," Jade told him. "So, don't hesitate or it won't work."

They all apparated to the Leaky Cauldron, the pub was nearly deserted. It used to be one of the most popular places before. The landlord, Tom, was cleaning some glasses and there were a few people at a table in the corner.

"Madam Lestrange," Tom muttered as soon as he noticed she was in his pub.

Jade walked through the pub, she gave an annoyed look, and Tom just bowed his head. There was some air of importance in Jade. Granger and Ron followed her without uttering a word, even when Granger was dying to be polite and greet Tom.

They went out through the back door and into Diagon Alley, which was quite deserted, probably because of the early time or because of how bad things were and no one wanted to be caught up at the wrong place at the wrong time There were some people on a few corners pleading for gold, they had never seen that before.

Luckily, when they saw the face of Bellatrix, they crawled away and some even hid under their hoods. Except for one, who had bloody clothes and looked to be in a very harsh shape.

"My children!" he bellowed, first to Granger, who looked uncomfortable and saddened by him.

"I... I... really don't..."

Then the man turned to Jade, she took a step back so the man wouldn't touch her. She looked disgusted at the man.

"Don't touch me!" Jade exclaimed in an extremely cold voice. "You filthy scum!"

Granger glared at Jade, but Harry knew in that moment that Jade being Bellatrix was the right choice as Granger wouldn't have been able to act as cold and mean as Bellatrix really was, even Jade wasn't as cruel.

The man was going towards Jade again when she just pointed her wand at the man but he wouldn't stop and after they saw a red light, the man was unconscious on the floor. Jade didn't look sorry, she looked bored and annoyed. She was going to tell them to move when they were stopped once again.

"Madam Lestrange."

"Oh Travers," Jade exclaimed with surprise. The others wondered how she knew him but it wasn't time to explain that he had been to her house several times and even stayed for dinner.

"Couldn't believe it was you. Surprised to see you here, Bellatrix."

"And why is that?" Jade asked him, starting to look less friendly towards the man.

"I heard that the inhabitants of Malfoy Manor were confined to the house... after the... escape."

For a moment, Harry could see Jade dropping the facade and looking scared. She coughed and composed herself. Any hint of an emotion other than annoyance, gone.

"I didn't take you for a fool to believe stupid gossips, Travers. Don't forget who is one of the Dark Lord's most faithful servants," Jade exclaimed proudly. "I don't have to pay for Lucius' mistakes."

"What wand are you using, Bellatrix? I heard that your own was..."

"I've got it right here," Jade said, outraged. "Not as if it was any of your business, Travers. Now, if you'll excuse me I've got more important stuff to do."

"Of course," Travers said, offended. "Who are your friends?"

"Allies from abroad. He's Hungarian and she is French," Jade told him. "They don't speak English well. See you Travers."

Jade turned around quickly before she could be interrupted again and the others followed her. And then they saw it, the biggest and tallest building in Diagon Alley, Gringotts.

They walked in and saw two wizards by the entrance instead of goblins. They were guards. Something that they didn't know anything about, therefore, no one planned for them. Jade kept walking with confidence, though. Granger and Ron trying to keep up with her pace. Jade went straight to the long counter at the end of the hall, an old goblin was sitting behind the counter.

"Madam Lestrange!" the Goblin exclaimed, surprised. "How may I help you today?"

"I wish to enter my vault," Jade exclaimed in almost a duh tone.

Some goblins had stopped their work and stared at Bellatrix, the goblin in front of her looked hesitant. Jade tried to harden the look on the goblin.

"You have identification?"

"What?" Jade asked, faking to be extremely offended. "How dare you, goblin? I've never been asked for identification before."

"Your wand will do, Madam."

Jade could easily give Bellatrix's wand to the Goblin, but that presented two problems. One, she'd be wandless, as she had given Granger her own wand as she had lost hers and two, the Death Eater had said that he knew the wand had been stolen, what if they knew too?

"My wand? Do you really think I'd give you my wand?" Jade said as if she had never been treated so badly before. She let out a laugh pretty close to what Bellatrix would sound like. It was actually quite terrifying how similar Jade sounded to the real Bellatrix. "My wand!" she repeated. "You know very well that my wand has been reported stolen and I won't be wandless, anyway! Take me to my vault immediately! You choose, right way... or painful way."

But by the time Jade stopped talking, Harry had casted Imperius curse on the goblin. Jade could tell by the way his eyes changed.

"Please follow me, Madam Lestrange."

"This is not good," Jade whispered to Granger and Ron. "They suspect."

"How do you know?" Ron asked as they followed the goblin.

"They never ask for wands. They have other ways to know it's really you."

A second Goblin came rushing to them, this one was younger and smaller. Jade bit her lip, knowing this wasn't good.

"Forgive me, Madam Lestrange, but there have been special orders regarding the vault of Lestrange."

"I am aware," the other goblin said. "Very old family, old clients. Madam Lestrange wishes to visit her vault, please follow me."

"Imperio," Jade whispered pointing her wand at the second goblin, so he wouldn't tell the others.

Ron and Granger seemed to still be confused at the goblin's attitude and change of mind, even when Jade warned them they might need to do that sort of stuff. This was a time when they needed to play dirty.

Then they got into a cart, Jade was sat at the front with Bogrod, the goblin. By then Harry revealed himself as it didn't matter. It started moving, getting faster and faster. It began twisting and turning through the passages down to the vaults.

They have gotten deeper than what Harry and Ron had ever been, they wouldn't have imagined it to be this deep. Jade, on the other side, had been all the way down before. And Granger had never gone inside Gringotts.

Then they saw a waterfall, there had never been a waterfall before. Jade knew that. Griphook also knew that shouldn't be happening. He tried to stop the cart but it was too late. The water splashed them and Jade felt like she couldn't see or even breathe. She was struggling to get some air in.

Then suddenly, the cart fell to the side and all of them were suddenly going straight to the bottom of Gringotts but not the way they imagined. Then Jade got her wand out and shouted a spell quickly and suddenly, she felt like she was floating instead of falling. Like if someone had grabbed her and stopped her from hitting the ground. Then they landed painlessly and slowly.

Harry helped Jade up and Granger helped Ron up. When she faced Harry, he looked at her horrified. Granger and Ron were looking at each other in a similar way.

"What?" Jade asked, as she went to touch her face.

"You look like yourself," he told her.

She looked at the other two and all the modifications they had made on their appearances were gone. They were back to look as they normally did. Jade swore loudly.

"It washes away all enchantment, all magical concealment! They know you are impostors."

So, if their enchantments were gone...

Jade imperioed the goblin once again as he started to yell and call for others. Granger looked at her disapprovingly but Jade knew they needed to break some rules to succeed.

Jade started to walk, and so did Griphook, they both knew where to go, while the others just followed them. Jade then looked sad and Harry wondered why but then he saw...

A gigantic dragon was in front of them, chained to the ground. Protecting six of the deepest and biggest vaults in there. The Lias' Vault being one of them and the Perseus' vault being another one. The dragon was pale, its eyes were a pale pink and the cuffs around its legs had wounded it.

"It's learned what to expect when the clankers come," Griphook explained as he gave them to Ron and Harry and Bogrod, he kept one.

The small metal instruments made a loud, ringing noise when shaken. For once, Jade looked offended for real as the dragon whined and retreated. The huge dragon was terrified and suffering, as an animal lover, Jade was suffering with it.

Jade was pulled along by Harry, who was the only one who noticed how distressed she was.

"That's why I stopped coming to Gringotts," Jade told Harry. "I once offered the Goblins to buy it. They didn't accept, obviously."

Jade made Bogrod place his hand on the door of the vault, then this one melted and revealed a cave-like opening. It was crammed with golden coins and goblets and other stuff made from gold.

"Search!" Harry told them.

But what were they looking for? They used Lumos as the door reappeared, leaving them in total darkness. As Jade looked around she recognized a few things. A bowl with the Lestrange crest that had belonged to her grandmother, a grandfather clock that had been in her grandparents' house since she could remember. And some other things.

Granger suddenly screamed, the goblet that she had touched, fell down and multiplied. Soon, the one goblet became at least ten.

"They've added Gemino and Flagrante curses," Griphook said. "Everything you touch will burn you and multiply. We'll be crushed to death by the weight of the expanding gold."

As Jade had Lestrange blood in her, the curses didn't affect her. She grabbed some stuff she didn't recognize but she didn't get any bad vibe from them, so she knew they were just ordinary stuff.

"Look around! Remember, if we are looking for Hufflepuff's goblet, it's small and made of gold."

"Like many things here," Jade said.

"It's got a badger engraved on it. Two handles... otherwise try to spot Ravenclaw's symbol on anything else," Harry continued.

Silence overwhelmed them as they looked everywhere without moving at all, except for Jade, who kept advancing deeper into the vault.

"It's there!" Harry yelled suddenly. "Jade! You're the only one who can get it."

Jade looked up and on the top shelf she saw it, as the other three pointed their wands at it to light her way. Gold now reached her thighs and it was hard to move, making a lot of noise in the process.

Jade looked up, it was so out of reach and magic wouldn't work with that item. She put a foot on the lowest shelf but it was slippery and she fell backwards. She resurfaced and looked at it again, thinking. Maybe if she took off her shoes...

"Jade," Harry said, making her look at him. "Here."

Harry threw the sword at her, but by doing that, Harry touched at least three things and they multiplied and burned him more.

Jade let the sword fall on the floor, so she wouldn't hold it on the sharp end and then grabbed it. She had managed to put the tip of the sword through a handle when suddenly Ron sneezed, touching several objects because of his body movement. The new wave of hot multiplied objects pushed Jade, making her fall once again but this time a different way and somehow, that made her send the cup flying behind her.

Jade stood up and turned to see Griphook with the cup in his long pale hands. He demanded Jade to give him the sword or he would keep the cup.

"We had a deal!" Jade exclaimed, refusing to give him the sword.

"Exactly. I got you in... Never said I'd get you out."

"You little…"

"You have what you came for!" he interrupted her. "Now let's all cooperate!"

"Give it to him, Jade!" Harry screamed as gold kept multiplying and burning them.

Jade hesitated but seeing that there was really no way out, she threw the sword at the goblin and he threw the cup at her. Griphook used Bogrod's hand quickly and the door melted once again, disappearing from their sight. Jade glared at the goblin the whole time, she had been outplayed and she didn't like that.

The three of them managed to get out, with burns but they had the cup, which was the important thing. Jade was the only one who looked alright. Pretty soon they were surrounded. They started to hit goblins with some spells but there were too many plus wizard guards, and they couldn't just forget about the dragon.

"We won't last much longer!" Jade shouted to the other three, who were also struggling, fighting at least four goblins and two guards each at the same time.

"Relashio!" Harry yelled, making the cuffs open with loud bangs.

"What are you doing?" Granger asked.

"Come on! Climb up!" Harry exclaimed.

Harry jumped on top of the dragon, Jade smiled brightly and joined him, followed by Ron and lastly Granger. They clutched tightly to the scales and then the dragon suddenly realised it was free.

It spreaded its wings, knocking some goblins and guards over. At the same time, they tried to keep hitting their enemies with spells and then without warning, the dragon soared into the air. The four of them stopped the spells and instead held on with both hands to not fall. The dragon let out fire from its mouth, trying to make the passageway bigger. Granger helped and the other three copied her as the dragon scratched the ceiling and soon it was big enough for the dragon to go through.

It struggled a bit but then they were finally out. The dragon took a moment to recover its strength and then jumped and launched into the sky. Jade could see Diagon Alley for a few seconds before it got out of sight.

As they left London behind, Jade took out her wand and risking her own life as she was only holding on to the dragon with one hand, she started to heal it. The wounds it had on the back were getting smaller and smaller until they faded and then Jade continued with its face, chest, and then legs.

The dragon then got higher into the sky and the temperature dropped. They were cold and their hands were getting numb, and they no longer could see the little cars underneath them, or the rivers, or the farms, or even the buildings.

Jade's arms were tired and she was starting to get hungry. The sky was starting to go from blue to different shades of red and purple. They weren't sure how long they had been holding on but the dragon didn't seem like it wanted to stop. It wanted to get as far away as possible.

Jade kept repeating some spells every once in a while, one to not freeze to death, another to not let go from tiredness, another to calm her hunger.

And another thing against them was that because of how high they were, it was hard to breathe. Jade was starting to get light headed. England wasn't exactly a high-altitude country and her lungs weren't used to it. Each time she breathed, it didn't seem like she was getting enough oxygen in her lungs.

"Is it me... or are we losing height?" Ron yelled, but it sounded like just a whisper.

Jade looked down and could see mountains, trees and lakes. They were in fact getting closer to the ground and the temperature was a bit less cold but they were so numb they couldn't really notice.

"Let's jump in the water," Harry yelled and the other three nodded. Jade was used to heights from playing Quidditch but she had never thought of jumping from her broom. She felt sick but when Harry yelled 'now' she let go. No hesitation, no second thoughts, just did it.

It wasn't a long fall, but Jade didn't enjoy it. Feet went first into the freezing water, but as numb as they were, the difference wasn't much. Jade panicked when she kept trying to swim towards the surface and not reaching it and her body was tired and not working as fast as she wanted. She had gotten deeper than she had imagined but at last she reached the surface. She took a long deep breath and realised she had been the last one to resurface.

They looked as the dragon landed at last on a distant bank and drank some water from the lake. They were glad they jumped when they did, they were too weak to fight a dragon at the moment.

The four of them struggled to get their tired and numb bodies moving but they managed to swim to the opposite shore. Once she started to move, Jade's body was filled with adrenaline once again, so she was quick, but when she was only feet away from the shore, she felt how heavy her body was and exhaustion overcame her once again, but this time harder.

With lots of effort, she swam a bit more and when she touched the ground, she crawled out of the water and just let her body fall to the ground, Harry and Ron ended up next to her, Granger next to Harry. Breathing just as deeply as her.

Jade knew she needed to move, she wanted to move but her body wouldn't respond to her. She was too tired that even thinking about doing something was way too much. She wanted to reach into her bag and get some food to regain some energy or start a fire so they could warm up, but her body was unresponsive.

Harry was the one who sat up first, and after a couple of minutes, stood up and did the protective spells around them and once again collapsed. After a few more minutes, the three of them used essence of dittany on their burns and then they and Jade changed into clean, dry clothes.

When Jade finished changing, she went to give Harry a hug, he was so shocked that he was immobile. What was that for? He was confused and the state he was in, close to hypothermia, didn't allow him to think clearly.

"Thanks," she said, her voice sounded weird and hoarse after not using it for hours and pretending to sound like her aunt earlier. "I know we did need the dragon but thanks for freeing it. I'm so grateful."

"It was you who gave me the idea. You said you wanted to free him from its sufferement and then I thought... why not?" Harry said with a weak smile.

"I wish we could keep it safe," Jade said.

"It's a dragon! It can take care of itself!" Ron shouted. "It's us we should worry about. If you hadn't realised... we might have just broken into Gringotts and it's not like it went smoothly."

Then Granger laughed, joined by Harry, and then Ron and Jade followed. They weren't sure why they were laughing but it was hard to stop.

"Come on!" Harry said, managing to get some words between the laughter. "Let's set camp up!"

Granger and Harry got some food and got it ready for all of them, while Ron and Jade got the tent ready.

Harry made a fire and the four of them sat around it after they were done. Granger and Ron were next to Jade and Harry was right in front of her. It had been almost two hours since the jumped into the lake and they had recovered a bit from the harsh journey there. At least they weren't cold anymore, but every part of their body ached.

"I'm so tired I don't even want to eat," Granger said as she eyed her food. "But I'm also starving."

And that's how they all felt. So they did eat, very slowly, and without talking much as that also required energy. They had never been so tired before and so achy. Their arms were the worst, which held on to that dragon for hours while freezing to death.

After they ate something, they went to sleep, not caring about the mess or anything. Ron chose to take the first turn to keep watch. He thought it was better to stay up a bit longer and then sleep without interruption than sleeping for a couple of hours and then being woken up, but the sound of finally resting was tempting.

Jade made coffee for him. Ron decided to walk around, even if it was small steps so he wouldn't fall asleep by accident. He was sure he was capable of just zoning out. And he made sure to drink the coffee Jade made. He was going to need a couple of cups, not only to be awake but warm as well.
