For the first time, Jade felt dizzy and a bit disorientated after using the object Dumbledore had given her. As she looked around she could tell she was back in the tent and Harry was right next to her. So both were alright and back where they should be. She had second thoughts and hesitated as she was releasing the button and wanted to stop the whole action of travelling back but she couldn't and she wondered if that was what had caused her dizziness.
There was a lot to think about and to consider but they didn't really have the time to compare the options. Harry and Jade were pale and had expressions of shock and fear. What had they done?
"Is this where you live?"
Jade closed her eyes tightly and tried to think of all the possibilities. Only one or two were good, the rest were terrible. Jade's dizziness worsened, it felt as if the ground was spinning, she felt like puking.
"Who's this?" Ron asked, alarmed. "Holy shit... are you alright? You don't look good."
It wasn't until Granger approached them that Harry looked very guilty and got even paler. He was dreading the question coming from her and even worse, her reaction to the answer to that question, and Jade knew it. She was such a goody that she would be horrified.
"Harry? Why is there a kid in here? And how did he get inside?"
Just as Jade was pressing the button to go to her own time and reality, Leo had managed to grab and hold on to both their clothes and then she released the button at that very moment. Bringing the three of them back. Jade didn't know what they had caused by doing that and she wasn't sure if she could just take him back or would they return to a trap?
Jade had realised what was going on, noticed what Leo was doing, and she wanted to not release the button and just keep it pressed until Leo would let go but that was in a matter of milliseconds and before she knew it, they had come back, bringing Leo along.
"Well?"
"Hermione, this is Leo," Harry said, and then looked down at the ground, avoiding eye contact with her. "Our son."
"Your son?" Granged asked, her voice got high-pitched. "You didn't... oh my God, Harry! Can't you see how bad of an idea that is? And even if it wasn't, we are in the middle of something very dangerous. You've put your own son in danger!"
"Don't you think I don't know that, Hermione?" Harry shouted, standing up and looking straight at Hermione. "It was an accident, alright? As much as I want him to be with me, I wouldn't bring him to this! Can't you just leave us alone? We know, okay? We don't need you to tell us how bad of an idea it is. You could be more helpful if you could tell us what to do now."
As they argued, Leo went to stand next to Jade, he wrapped his arms around Jade's waist and hid his face in her clothes as his eyes filled with tears. Granger glared at Harry but didn't say anything else. She turned around, furious, got her coat and went out to keep watch.
Harry and Jade sat at the table, discussing possibilities, discussing what to do while Leo sat on the bed with Ron who was trying to entertain him but he seemed to be quite sorry of what he'd done and even sad. He felt like he wasn't wanted and gladly, Ron noticed that and explained that he was wanted and that he was happy to finally meet him but they were in the middle of something extremely dangerous and none of them wanted anything bad to happen to him. It seemed like having a baby had made Ron more mature and helped him to pick up on things a bit more.
After some time, Harry and Jade had finally agreed on something. It wasn't ideal but it would have to do for now. Jade was going to call Ilvie so she could take him to Mrs. Weasley. Ilvie would have to explain a lot.
They both stood up, nodding. Feeling a bit nostalgic to have to send him away but they both knew it was for his own good. They walked to where Leo was and at once Ron stood up and walked away but didn't stay too far so he could listen.
"I'm sorry," Leo said at once, jumping to his feet and wrapping his arms around Jade. He had started to sob. "I just wanted to be with you."
Jade felt like someone had stabbed her in her heart. She looked up at Harry, her eyes had filled with tears and Harry looked close to crying too. She gulped and cleared her throat as she looked from Harry to Leo.
"We want to be with you too," Jade said, rubbing his back to soothe him.
"I just heard him talking about trying to get me out of there and I thought I should try. And it worked, didn't it?" Leo said, crying. His puffy, bloodshot green eyes staring into Jade's identical ones. "I wanted to get out of there and be with you."
"We understand Leo, and we aren't angry at you," Harry said. "We are happy you aren't there anymore. We hated that we had to leave you there with that monster. But..."
In that moment Harry's hand went straight to his scar, clutching it. He bent down, Ron and Jade knew he was in pain. Jade held Leo closer to her so he wouldn't turn to look. Ron rushed to Harry and sat him down on the bed.
Harry was panting and groaning from the pain. They both could tell Harry was inside Voldemort's mind but as Granger wasn't there, they didn't try to stop it. They weren't as radical as Granger.
Jade finally remembered it had only been a few hours since they had broken into Gringotts and got the Horcrux. For her, it seemed like weeks ago and Jade completely forgot about it for a bit but now, seeing Harry like that, she remembered and she knew that Leo shouldn't be there. It was too dangerous for any kid but especially for a kid that was too young to have a wand and his knowledge was limited and it was mostly about Dark Arts not about defensive spells.
"He knows," Harry said while shivering, as he took a glance at them. "He's going to check where the others were hidden and the last one... it's at Hogwarts."
"I searched the whole thing," Jade said. "The Slytherin common room several times and even the grounds."
"Well, we'll have to search again. He's going to the shack first, to see if the ring it's still there. We might have enough time to get to the one in Hogwarts before him."
"We can't go without a plan," Granger said suddenly, joining the other four.
"No, we need to go now. We can't wait. And it's not like our plans actually work."
"How are we going to get in?" Ron asked.
"We'll go to Hogsmeade. We get under the Cloak."
"All of us?" Granger asked.
"Yes."
"What about Leo?" Jade asked.
"He'll have to come. We don't have time. We can think of something there."
Granger quickly packed, all was ready in less than three minutes. The five of them stood up in a line. Harry first, then Leo, then Jade, then Ron and finally Granger. They held hands and then they disapparated.
As soon as their feet touched the ground, they heard a sound which was pretty much like Voldemort screaming. They all were under the Cloak but they also were using a Disillusionment charm, as their feet and part of their calves could be seen as the Cloak wasn't long enough for all of them.
Because of the noise, they didn't have time to appreciate the familiar little town. The shops, the pubs, the streets.
Soon several Death Eaters were out, looking for Harry. Jade had her wand in her hand but she had to admit there were too many. Her other hand was busy, holding Leo's little hand.
"Accio Cloak."
All of them froze and Harry even attempted to clutch the Cloak so it wouldn't flee, but it didn't move at all. The four of them looked at each other amazed and confused. Why didn't that spell work?
"Not under your wrapper, then, Potter? Spread out! He's somewhere over here.
"Let's just leave," Granger whispered as six Death Eaters ran past them. "Disapparate now."
"I doubt we can," Jade whispered.
"What about Dementors?" They heard another Death Eater shouting. "They'd find him quick enough."
They all looked at each other once again, terror in their eyes, as the rest of the Death Eaters agreed to the plan. A patronus would give them away.
They soon felt an unnatural cold begin to steal over the streets. It all became darker. Jade turned to look at Leo, he looked uncomfortable at the thought and he tried to seem brave and even unaffected. Jade felt sad as she knew that despite his young age, Leo wasn't unfamiliar with Dementors and he often had to seem tougher.
They all held on to each other as they turned a corner and hid, to try to disapparate but sure enough, the Death Eaters had done something because they were unable to. It was a weird feeling, like a wall not letting them go through.
They moved deeper into that street and turned another corner, there they saw about ten black hooded figures. It became even colder now, with the Dementors approaching them. At that moment, Leo let go of Jade's hand and instead wrapped his hands around Jade.
Without really thinking, Jade put his hands under Leo's armpits and picked him up, holding him tightly. He was shivering in her arms and he buried his face in the crook of her neck. Leo was a very slim boy, like Harry was, but he was already nine and while he didn't weigh much, Jade's arms would get tired soon enough.
"I can do it. They don't know my patronus," Jade said. "Maybe it won't even have a form."
"It will still give us away," Granger whispered.
But as they argued, Harry was thinking of his friends, Jade and as weirdly as it sounded, his son. So, without hesitation he whispered the spell and a silver stag burst from his wand and at once ran to the Dementors, they flew away but the danger wasn't over.
"It's him, down there. I saw his Patronus. It was a stag!"
The stars could be seen again and the cold wasn't as bad, and if it was, at least it was a natural cold but they didn't notice it. They could only hear the Death Eater's steps and their minds were busy trying to think what to do now.
"Potter, in here, quick!"
They didn't even hear the door opening, and they didn't really think if it was safe, they just hurried inside.
"Keep the Cloak on, keep quiet and go upstairs!"
The five of them went through a second doorway and up a wooden staircase. They went fast as possible and as quiet as possible. They approached the dirty window to see what was happening, still wearing the Cloak. Jade wanted to put Leo down but he wouldn't let go, Harry noticed, so he took him in his own arms.
"That wasn't your Patronus, that was a stag!" A Death Eater said.
"Stag!" The person who had helped them, exclaimed. "You idiot! Expecto Patronum!"
They all saw something quite big and with horns erupting from his wand. It ran as the stag had done and disappeared.
"That's not what I saw," he said but Jade could notice the doubt in his voice.
"Curfew has been broken, you heard it!" A second Death Eater said. "Someone was out in the street against regulations."
"If I want to put my cat out I will and be damned to your curfew!"
"You set off the Caterwauling Charm?"
"What if I did? Kill me for sticking my nose out my own front door? Do it, if you want to! But I hope for your sakes you haven't pressed your little Dark Marks and summoned him. He won't like being called for me and my cat."
"I still say I saw a stag Patronus!"
"It's a goat, idiot!"
"Alright," the second Death Eater exclaimed. "Break curfew again and we won't be so lenient."
The two of them walked away to the High Street and they looked at them until the two men were lost from sight. Then Harry held on to Leo with one hand and with the other he shut the curtains and pulled the invisibility Cloak off of all of them. Harry, then once again used both hands to carry Leo while Jade stood right next to them with the Cloak in her hands, as they heard the man going up the stairs.
"You bloody fools! What were you thinking, coming here?" he exclaimed, looking at the five people, but lingered on the youngest.
"Thank you, you saved us," Harry told him as the old man turned to look at him, Harry saw his bright blue eyes. "It's you I've been seeing in the mirror." Silence followed, Harry had been sure for months that he had been seeing Dumbledore on the mirror Sirius had given him so they could communicate. "You sent Dobby."
"Thought he'd be with you. Where've you left him?"
"He's dead. Bellatrix Lestrange killed him."
"I'm sorry to hear, I liked that elf."
"You're Aberforth," Harry continued. The man said nothing but he sat in front of the fire. "How did you get the mirror?"
"Bought it from Dung, Albus told me what it was. Been trying to keep an eye out for you."
"The silver doe! The Patronus that was sent to us!" Ron said excitedly. "Was that you too?"
"You could be a Death Eater, son... brains like that. Haven't I just proved my Patronus is a goat?"
"Well... I'm hungry," Ron said, trying to defend himself.
"I got food."
The man got them some bread, cheese and something to drink. Granger and Ron dived in first. Harry let go of Leo and put him on the ground, Harry and Jade ate only a bit as they had eaten when they visited the other reality and Leo wasn't hungry but did drink the apple juice the man had gotten him.
"You must stay the night, then when curfew lifts you must go to the mountains, you can disapparate there."
"We're not leaving," Harry told him. "We need to get into Hogwarts."
"Don't be stupid."
"We've got to."
"No. What you've got to do is get as far away from here as possible and keep that little kid safe."
"Your brother wanted us to..."
"Yeah, he wanted a lot of things and people tended to get hurt while he carried out his plans. Get out of here... of the country if you can. Forget my brother. You don't owe him anything."
"You don't understand. He left me a job."
"Nice job, I hope? Pleasant? Easy? Sort of thing you'd expect an unqualified wizard kid to be able to do without overstretching themselves?"
Harry was getting frustrated, mostly because he was a bit right. Ron gave a grim laugh and nodded. Jade looked down and bit her lip. She had been angry at Dumbledore for a while, just like Ron was, especially when they found out he was never interested in saving the child from the prophecy. And Granger looked strained and Leo just looked confused and tired.
"But... you are fighting too, you're in the Order of the Phoenix."
"I was... The Order is finished. You-Know-Who's won. It's over and anyone who's pretending different is kidding themselves."
"I can't leave. Dumbledore explained it all. It must be me."
"And did he tell you everything... Was he honest with you?" Harry stayed silent as he couldn't say yes. "I knew him, Potter. Secrets and lies, that's how we grew up and Albus... he was a natural."
"Who is that?" Leo asked, interrupting the conversation as he pointed at a portrait of a blonde young girl.
"My sister Ariana," Aberforth said, with a sigh. Jade and Granger knew who she was.
That somehow resulted in Aberforth telling them about very intimate things about his life. Told them that she wasn't a squib but Muggles attacked her and she never did magic again but it got uncontrolled and one time, that caused their mother's death and their father took the blame so she wouldn't be taken to St. Mungos, but he was taken to Azkaban, leaving the three siblings alone.
So, Albus was forced to look after the family, but neglected Ariana, especially when Aberforth was in school and Albus spent more time with Grindelwald than with Ariana. Aberforth confronted them and they didn't like it, especially because he was trying to prevent a trip, an adventure.
"I had the Cruciatus Curse used on me by my brother's best friend and Albus was trying to stop him and then the three of us were duelling and the flashes and the bangs set her off... she couldn't stand it. I think she wanted to help but didn't know what she was doing and... she was dead."
Leo looked quite affected by the story, Aberforth didn't have filters. Jade was embracing him and rubbing his back. Granger was on the verge of tears. Harry looked like he was sick. Hearing something like that about someone he admired so much wasn't easy.
"Grindelwald vanished... he had a track record already back in his country and he didn't want Ariana added to his account too and Albus was free... of the burden of his sister." Aberforth then turned to look at Harry. "How can you be sure that he wasn't more interested in the greater good than in you?"
Harry and everyone else stayed quiet. At some point all of them believed in Dumbledore but as they got further into this 'job', they had realised a lot and found out nasty secrets. And some were questioning his real motives, and if they should trust him. Ron was so angry at Dumbledore, blaming him for his son's prophecy, that he was so willing to side with Aberforth.
"Doesn't matter. I've got to do this. Do you see him?" Harry said, looking at Leo and then at Aberforth again. "I've got to make it better for him. We need to get into Hogwarts. If you can't help us, we'll wait until daybreak, leave you in peace... but if you can help us, well, now would be a great time to mention it."
Aberforth did look at Leo, who was still hugging Jade. To him, because of the hair, he could be a Weasley, or now that they were so close, Aberforth could notice Jade and Leo were related somehow as they had certain features that were similar but he knew the Lias boy was older not younger than the girl so he could only guess they were perhaps cousins.
He kept his eyes fixed on the little boy. He had shown bravery, even in front of the dementors and now he was just emotionally affected by the story but he wasn't that scared, after all he had lived with Death Eaters for some years.
"I've got one condition," Aberforth said, glancing at Harry quickly.
"What?"
"Do whatever you need to do, but you leave that boy here. He shouldn't become a martir. He shouldn't be part of a suicide mission when he is not even old enough to get a wand."
"No!" Leo exclaimed. "I want to go."
"Deal," Jade said before Harry could. "But, he will be safe here, right?"
"Safer than in Hogwarts, I can guarantee you that, Lias."
"Okay then. I accept."
Leo got offended and let go of Jade, and then pleaded to Harry to let him come along but he also agreed with Jade. He knew he couldn't bring him with them and he trusted Aberforth.
"I know I was a bit afraid when I saw the Dementors but I am brave!" Leo muttered to Harry. "They use them to punish me, that's why I don't like them but I can be helpful."
"You know what to do," Aberforth said to the portrait.
Ariana smiled, turned and walked away until she couldn't be seen which was not usual in portraits.
"Listen, Leo, we know you are brave and you are skillful but he's right. You don't have a wand and this is dangerous. More than you can imagine," Jade said as he approached the little angry boy. "Dementors are just the start, it will just get worse."
"But I want to go."
"We know but like your mot... like Jade said, this is too dangerous and without a wand there's not much you can do. The person who kidnapped you might come sooner or later and we want you as far away as possible from him." At that, Leo seemed to be more open to the option of staying. "We just want you to be safe. I wouldn't be able to forgive myself if anything happens to you, Leo. We love you."
"But... what if I don't see you again?" Leo asked, a tear threatening to fall but just like Jade, he tried to not show his emotions. "Like... ever?"
"That won't happen," Jade said, forcing a small smile on her lips, knowing there were no guarantees.
"I don't want to lose you," Leo said, he tried hard to keep his composure but his voice was breaking.
Harry continued to talk to Leo and explain things to him while Jade approached Aberforth. She took the reality-turner out of her pocket and extended her hand towards him.
"Your brother gave it to me. Here are the directions so you can return Leo to his own reality if we don't come back. Sirius Black or a Weasley will look after him. You can also trust Severus Snape. Believe it or not," Jade said, handing Aberforth the object and the parchment with the instructions. She knew she could trust him. "Please if that happens, tell him we, Harry and I, love him really, really much."
Aberforth nodded at her without making any question and took both of the things given to him. Then Jade went back to Harry and Leo, who looked less upset about staying behind but he was sad and afraid.
"You can ask Aberforth to teach you a few spells," Jade said with a small smile. "And don't worry about us, okay? We'll be alright."
Aberforth told them then that all the old secret passageways had been covered at both ends. And Dementors were pretty much everywhere and Death Eaters patrolled the school corridors.
Then they saw a little dot getting nearer in the portrait that had been empty for a few minutes. She was coming back but she wasn't alone. They got bigger and bigger as they got closer and then the portrait swung forwards and revealed an entrance to a tunnel.
"I knew you'd come! I knew it, Harry!"
Neville Longbottom hadn't looked so bad, not that Jade remembered. He had gashes on his face and his clothes were ripped and torn. An eye was swollen and bruised around it but still he was smiling.
He hugged the four of them, looked weirdly at the kid, who was holding on to Harry now and then turned to the old man. "Ab, there might be a couple more people on the way. They'll be apparating directly into the bar... just send them down the passage when they get here. Thanks a lot."
"We love you, okay? Keep yourself safe," Jade told Leo as Granger was starting to climb into the tunnel. "If anything happens, hide and don't make a sound. They don't know you are here so they won't be looking for you."
"I love you too... mum," Leo said and this time Jade actually shed a tear as it was the first time he called her mum. Leo then turned to Harry. "I love you too... dad."
Harry hugged him tightly one last time and kissed the top of his head. One, because he needed to hug his son again and two, to hide his tears. Aberforth had heard and was confused but didn't say anything and Neville thought he had heard wrong.
Jade and Harry turned around and followed the other three. Harry climbed up first and then helped Jade up. When she did, she stood only a couple of inches away from Harry's face. They both had red eyes from shedding tears.
The two of them took one last glance at Leo and waved at him. Harry didn't let go of Jade's hand to show Leo that they did care about each other, as he had asked them if they loved each other in this other reality and just in case something happened, he didn't want Leo to wonder that for the rest of his life.
But funnily enough even when he couldn't see them anymore, Harry still didn't let go of her hand and Jade didn't complain, actually she squeezed his.
"If we survive tonight, we'll be a family. We'll make it work somehow," Jade said. "I'm still married and you know I love Draco but we'll think of something. We can't damage that kid even more."
"So... we will keep him?"
"We can't just get into his life and disappear. He already lost us once. He lost everybody. I want to keep him."
"I'm all in. I was just making sure. What about Saffie and Harlie?"
"They don't really know us and I think Sirius would die without them. He lost us and Leo, he doesn't have to lose them too. We can always ask, though... and it doesn't mean we can't visit them."
"Leo isn't exactly from here though."
"We'll think of something when the time comes."
As they walked, Nevilled asked them if it was true that they broke into Gringotts and escaped flying using a Dragon and told them about how things worked in Hogwarts now. Jade had only lived a part of it. The other three were shocked at what Neville was saying but not as much because they had heard parts from Jade.
"They've been soft with me," Neville told them. "They don't want to spill too much pure blood, so they torture us a bit if we're mouthy but they won't do too much damage or kill us. The people in real danger are the ones whose relatives on the outside are giving trouble, like Xeno Lovegood. They dragged Luna off the train on our way home for Christmas."
"She's alright! We've seen her," Ron told him.
"I know. She managed to get a message to me," Neville said as he took out a golden coin, the fake galleon that they used for the D.A., it was the same way Jade and Ron were communicating before. "We got Dumbledore's Army again but now that's over."
"Why?"
"Well, we lost our teacher twice," Neville said looking at Jade. "And we lost Luna during Christmas and Ginny never came back after Easter and the three of us were the leaders, sort of."
Jade found it a bit impressive but weird that Neville was excited and full of life despite looking awful. He was a mess but his attitude baffled Jade a bit.
"Anyway," Neville said after telling them the story of his Nan, who was on the run. "They realised they had no hold of me and I kept standing up to them, so I sensed it was time to disappear... they planned to send me to Azkaban or kill me."
"But... disappear?" Jade asked, confused. "Aren't we going to Hogwarts? Didn't you come from there?"
"Of course. We're here now. You'll see."
The five of them turned a corner, they found more steps going down. Neville pushed the door at the end of the steps and he jumped through it. Harry let go of Jade's hand and followed Neville, then helped Jade going down by grabbing her by her waist and holding her. Jade smiled as she blushed and thanked him.
"Look who it is! I told you!" Neville exclaimed.
"Harry!"
"It's Harry Potter!"
"Ron!"
"Jade!"
"Hermione!"
It was a bit overwhelming to have so many people saying their names in such loud voices, and waving and clapping, and approaching to say hi and shaking hands. It had never happened to Jade before but she was hugged too, by lots of people. It was a weird and new experience for her but her heart warmed and she relaxed but at first she got tense.
Once everyone calmed down and they stepped back, they looked around the room. Jade wondered if they were in the Gryffindor common room but that was unlikely as there were Ravenclaws and Hufflepuffs there. But the room was huge, instead of beds, there were multicoloured hammocks all around it. The walls were covered with tapestries of the three houses. They noticed the Gryffindor Lion on a scarlet tapestry, the black badger of Hufflepuff on a yellow one and the bronze eagle of Ravenclaw on blue. Jade did notice that when they closed the door, the door had the Snake of Slytherin, it was smaller and less bright but she appreciated the touch as she was the only Slytherin there.
They also saw bookcases with many books, some broomsticks against a corner and some couches around the place and a big fireplace.
"Where are we?" Jade asked, still glancing at the Slytherin symbol on the door.
"Room of Requirement," Neville replied as if it was obvious. "The Carrows were chasing me and I knew I could only hide here. When I walked in, this is what I found, except it only had one hammock but it expanded as more and more of the DA arrived."
"And they can't get in?" Harry asked.
"No," Seamus answered. He also looked awful. His face was bruised and swollen. "Neville made sure they can't get in."
"Aberforth's been providing us with food. I was hungry and couldn't leave so the passage to the Hog's Head opened up. For some reason the room can't give us food."
"Well, food's one of the five exceptions to Gamp's Law of Elemental Transfigurations."
At first Jade thought she was listening to Granger, she normally knows that kind of stuff but to everyone's astonishment it was Ron. Jade had to look around to see if it was really Ron who was talking. He only blushed and shrugged when people looked at him as if he had grown a second head.
"We've been here for nearly two weeks," Seamus went on. "And it makes more hammocks when we need them and a nice bathroom once girls started to join us too."
"But tell us what you've been up to," Ernie McMillan said. "There are so many rumours. We've been trying to keep up with you on Potterwatch. You didn't break into Gringotts, did you?"
"They did and the dragon part is true too!" Neville answered before any of them could. People cheered and clapped, Ron even took a bow and smiled.
"What were you after?" Lavender Brown asked.
But before they could reply, Harry collapsed to the floor. Jade got into his mind and saw it. Voldemort had discovered the ring was missing. They were running out of time.
"We need to get going," Harry said as he stood up with Jade and Neville's help.
"What's the plan?" Seamus asked.
It was then when the door opened again and three more people joined. Dean Thomas, Ginny and Luna, who seemed way better than the last time they saw her. At once, Ron approached Ginny, embraced her quickly and then went to Luna.
"Let us help Harry! We want to be part of it!" Neville exclaimed, after Harry had tried to tell them the task was only for the four of them.
Then they were joined by Lee Jordan and the Weasley Twins, who as always, cracked a joke as they walked in.
"So, what's the plan?" George asked with enthusiasm.
"There isn't one."
"Harry," Jade said softly to him as she turned to face him. "You don't have to do everything alone. Let them help, don't tell them it's a horcrux but they want to help and we actually need the help."
"Alright," he said, then turned to the crowd. "There's something we need to find... something that'll help us overthrow You-Know-Who."
"Where is it?" Parvati Patil asked.
"We don't know."
"What is it?" Terry Boot asked.
"We don't know but it might have belonged to Ravenclaw. Has anyone heard of an object like that? Or come across something with her eagle on it?"
"Well, there's her lost diadem. I already told you about it Harry," Luna said.
"Yeah, but the lost diadem... well, is lost," Michael Corner said, rolling his eyes.
"When?"
"Centuries ago," he replied. "Professor Flitwick says the diadem vanished with Ravenclaw herself. Nobody has found a trace of it."
"Can someone tell me what a bloody diadem is?" Ron asked.
"It's a kind of crown," Jade said. "Like the one Auntie Muriel let Fleur use for the wedding."
Ron, Granger and Harry looked disappointed as they thought that something that was lost for that long couldn't be a Horcrux as they doubted Voldemort could have found it. So, what could the Horcrux be?
"Can someone show us what it looks like?" Jade asked, refusing to just give up like that. "There must be a picture of it or something."
"Yes," Luna spoke again. "We have a statue of Ravenclaw in our common room. She's wearing her diadem."
"Right," Harry said, nodding. "Sure, that'll do. Take me."
