Two people face each other. Neither has seen each other in years. One a woman, thee other a man. He had just returned home. Long after the war was over. He had left everyone to belive he dead... In a sence he was. She was a few seconds a widow. She also had a secret. One that might make him mad. He smiles sweetly, and then she smiles. Both so happy to see each other after all this time. Suddenly her smile turns into a frown.

"What is it?" He asks softly, feeling a cramp comming on.

"While you were gone, I had a son, I gave him away there was nothing else I could do Laguna." She cries.

Laguna pulls her to him, and hugs her tight. "Raine I know. It's alright."

Raine stops crying and looks up, tears still running down her face. "You know?"

"Yes, he goes by Squall Leonhart. He looks more like you Raine." Laguna wipes the tears from her eyes.

"Oh Laguna I want to see him so bad." Rain says hugging Laguna tight.

Raine heres soft foot steps in the hallway. Lifting her eyes she looks behind Laguna. There stood a tall boy with short black hair and a scar on his face. At his side was a gunblade. In her heart she knew the person she was looking at was her son. Lost after all these years. He scraches his back of his neck and looks down shyly. Not certian of what to do.

"Hi mom." Squall almost studders, the words so unfamilar.

"Oh," Raine caught a lump in her throat and let Laguna go.

Mother and son kept eye contact for several seconds before Raine found her arms around Squall, and Squall's arms around her. Suddenly the found each other in tears. Squall having lost so much, gained his much wanted faimly. And Raine finially got both her men back. Smiling Laguna hugs both Raine and Squall. Then he begins to list to one side. Pain seering up his body.

"Laguna's has a leg cramp." Squall says dryly.

Rain lets go of Squall and looks at Laguna.

"Oww, shut up Squall I do not, Oww." Laguna grumbles.

Raine chuckles. Yes, they are a faimly agian. This time nothing is going to tear them apart.

"AHHHH, Squall don't do that!"

Cept maybe a major leg cramp.
