A poem for Nita, post _Dilemma_
Fade
by Elizabeth
Once I was blue.
So many blues: as bright blue as skies
Stretching lazy over a summer's day;
Deep blue as the silent and secret hours
Of a frozen January's midnight;
Shimmering blue like a robin's egg
Holding the secret of life inside me.
Now I'm just gray.
