The Enviro-Simulation Deck, Hill Base.

"Proud soldiers of the Romulan Empire," Major Soteen's expression was blank as he addressed the assembled Reman soldiers who stood at attention. "Today, you've achieved a great victory for yourselves and our mighty empire, which you've sworn to protect until your dying breath." The Major paced in front of the Reman platoon while the Romulan 3rd heavy infantry company stood silently in the background. The 3rd heavy infantry held their weaponry at the ready just encase the Remans decided to attempt anything hostile to their commanding officer.

"Truly, our brothers within the 121st infantry fought bravely and with distinction worthy of those who possess the noble blood of Romulus," Major Soteen's blank expression suddenly decided to morph into one that appeared like he was sucking a rotting lemon. "However, for all their courage and desire to never falter on the field of battle, it is clear that the 121st was inadequate compared to our station's sole Reman platoon." The aforementioned 121st had been sent away from the enviro-simulation deck. Major Soteen couldn't stand the sight of them after witnessing losing so severely to the Remans.

Major Soteen ceased pacing. "The battle was hard-fought," the lie slipped easily from Soteen's lips whilst he gazed at the Remans with contempt. "Yet in the end, Captain Ravek proved to be the better commander than Lieutenant Dulos, thus bringing victory and horror to the Reman people." It appeared to physically hurt Soteen to admit that a Reman was superior to a Romulan when commanding soldiers on the battlefield. This fact amused the assembled Reman troopers, who kept their expressions devoid of emotion.

Major Soteen waited a few minutes to allow his words to settle into the minds of his subordinates before marching forwards until he stood before the leader of the Reman platoon. "Captain Ravek, on behalf of the Romulan High Command, I congratulate you on achieving such a miraculous victory against the 121st." Soteen saluted Ravek with the fanfare of someone slowly dying of an incurable disease. "May your platoon continue to serve the empire with the distinction and bravery shown this day."

Captain Ravek barely suppressed the smirk that wanted to come forth as he returned the salute. "Of course, Major, my men and I shall always endeavour to assist the Romulan Empire," Ravek's lips twitched slightly upwards whilst he stared into the eyes of Major Soteen. "Especially in times when Romulan soldiers like Lieutenant Dulos are given command on the battlefield." The gathered Romulans sneered at Captain Ravek for his not so subtle insult towards Lieutenant Dulos and the insinuation that they'd need the Remans to save them should such a man be given command in an active war zone.

"We're grateful for the reassurance that your platoon shall always send besides our brethren in the name of the empire, Captain Ravek." Major Soteen snarled angrily yet knew he couldn't do anything to the Remans without facing the consequences. High Command would definitely demote him down to the rank of Private should he attempt to take lethal action against the Remans; the generals and admirals were tolerant of many things. However, deliberately weakening the defence forces of a highly classified research facility wasn't something they'd allow to go unpunished.

Yet, Major Soteen wasn't about to give up his plans on humiliating the Remans in the war games; after all, they might've lost the first one ever conducted on the Hidden Shadow, but that didn't mean that Soteen's men couldn't win the next one. The Major was already plotting how to sabotage the next war game so that the Romulan platoon chosen to participate would win without facing the same humiliating defeat as the 121st. Perhaps he'll have the war game occur within the desert biome and conveniently 'forget' to give the Remans any water.

"At any rate, Captain," continued Major Soteen whilst shelving his ideas on how to best screw over the Remans to the far corners of his mind. "I'm sure these brave warriors underneath your command are tired after such a lengthy battle and could thus use some rest." Ravek was internally smirking at the Major. He knew that the Romulan officer wanted an excuse to end this little gathering so he wouldn't have to continue congratulating them on their victory. However, as much as the idea of drawing this out simply to piss off Major Soteen appealed to Captain Ravek, he knew that more important things needed to be taken care of.

"The battle was hardly tiering Major," Ravek grinned at the furious Soteen, who could not take any action against him or those underneath his command. "Yet, you're right when you say my troopers would desire some rest before returning to active duty." Ravek would use the time spent within the Reman barracks to converse with his A.I ally. The next Romulan convoy containing their co-conspirators will be arriving in less than three months. Until they came to the Hidden Shadow, it was best that Ravek and Xavier spent the remaining time analysing and refining the details of their rebellion.

Major Soteen's eyebrow twitched at the Reman Captain's subtle jab. "Very well, Captain Ravek, please return with your platoon to the barracks for the rest of tonight's cycle." Ravek quickly snapped a sharp salute before ordering his troopers to begin marching for the elevators that would take them back to the barracks. The Romulan 3rd heavy infantry manoeuvred so that they were not in the way of the marching Remans. Within minutes the only ones left standing at the bottom of the hill were Major Soteen and the Romulan soldiers.

"Contact Lieutenant Dulos and have him report to the central security hub for debriefing." Major Soteen's expression changed to one that represented a cold fury that could freeze hell over a hundred times. "It's time I remind those underneath my command what happens to people who fail the Romulan empire." Soteen walked away from the hill and towards one of the enviro-simulation deck's exits. The Romulan 3rd heavy infantry silently followed their commanding officer as they were ordered to protect the Major until they were dismissed.

The Reman Barracks.

Captain Ravek's Personal Quarters.

"Ha, ha, ha, ha, I swear I've never seen a Romulan look more constipated than Major Soteen did when he was forced to congratulate your platoon on their victory against the 121st!" Captain Ravek's quarters was barely lit. The aforementioned Reman was seated before the room's computer terminal, where the image of Xavier's avatar would be seen holding its sides whilst laughter filled the air.

"It was amusing, wasn't it." Ravek kept his expression professional, yet the slight twitch of the lips hinted that the platoon captain wanted to laugh along with his A.I ally. "However, the defeat we've handed the 121st will escalate tensions with the other Romulan military units." The Romulans were an extremely prideful people and won't take such a humiliating loss to those they viewed as slaves without attempting some form of retribution in the not too distant future. Ravek would've to order his soldiers to stay on high alert until it was time to start the rebellion against their so-called masters.

"Tensions would've evolved between both races no matter who won the war game," Xavier replied after gaining control over his laughter. "The Romulans love nothing more than hurting those unable to fight back, especially races they view as inferior." Whether in victory or defeat, the Romulans would still continue to degrade the Remans. Xavier wouldn't be surprised if fights broke out between the two races within the next few months and the A.I also bet good money on the instigators of those fights being Romulan soldiers who couldn't handle any kind of hit to their specie's pride.

Captain Ravek grunted in agreement. "True, past experience on Romulan controlled worlds and space stations has taught me Romulans need no excuse to torment other races." The Reman Captain recalled one such experience where a betazoid woman had caught the attention of the Romulan Colonel charged with commanding a military base on one of the empire's outer colonies. The betazoid woman had lived on the colony for years and had been married to a wonderful husband. Yet, the Colonel still wanted her for himself and had the husband executed on false charges of sabotaging military equipment.

The Colonel hadn't even waited for the husband's body to become cooled before making an attempt on the recently made widow. The grieving betazoid naturally refused the Colonel's advances. However, the Romulan wouldn't take no for an answer. Within a month after the husband's death, the Colonel took a squad of his most loyal men, entered the planet's main settlement and proceeded to rape the betazoid women within the dead of night. Ravek only learned what happened a week later when the poor woman hanged herself.

The bastard Colonel had the nerve to laugh when the widow's corpse was found and brought out of its former residents by Ravek's platoon. The Remans were sent to investigate the widow's home after the locals complained about a rotting smell coming from the betazoid's house. When Ravek figured out the series of events that led to this tragedy, he'd immediately reported the incident to High Command. It didn't do any good since the Colonel was basically given a slap on the wrist. High Command even had the nerve to say that Ravek shouldn't waste their time on such meaningless matters.

Needless to say that Captain Ravek lost all respect he might've had for High Command on that day.

"At any rate," Ravek continued while banishing those dark memories of the past to the far corners of his mind. "The plan is moving at the pace we desire soon; the station shall be under our control, and the Romulans that aren't suited for the final phase will be eliminated." The Romulans onboard the convoy were an excellent example. They'll not be needed for any part of the planned rebellion on the Hidden Shadow and thus will be terminated the moment their hidden allies on the convoy vessel choose to start the mutiny.

Xavier's avatar nodded. "Indeed, the Geth have already finished implanting the spy and override viruses into the primary and secondary systems," the A.I hadn't been idle during the weeks since their alliance was forged. The number of Geth had risen to one thousand, five hundred thanks to Xavier spending hours or even days working on complex Geth programs. "When the convoy arrives at the station, we'll be ready to take control and lock the Romulans out of the Hidden Shadow's systems." Xavier knew he'd have to personally monitor every system to prevent the Romulans from attempting to take back control of the station, meaning that the plan's next steps would've to be done solely by the Geth and Remans.

Ravek hummed as the sounds of his subordinates celebrating their victory could be heard from outside the room. "Very good, when the signal to start the station's hostile take over is given, Lieutenant Nikrax and a squad of our finest men will storm the central security hub and neutralise Major Soteen." The Romulan Major was as arrogant as most of his kind, yet the man hadn't reached the rank of Major without showing some talent in the art of warfare. The head of the Romulan leadership had to be cut off within the first few minutes of the rebellion; otherwise, it shall be a lot harder for them to achieve their goals.

"I'll keep the Major and those within the security hub locked inside until Nikrax's team arrive at the entrance," it would be a simple task for Xavier to keep the Romulan Major locked away until the Remans arrive to properly neutralise them. "As for the remaining Romulan troopers scattered throughout the station, I've got a few ideas on eliminating them without risking our own soldiers." The combined strength of the 121st and 3rd heavy infantry was around 1,200 troops meaning that if their rebellion was to succeed, those troopers would've to be eliminated to the last man.

Ravek grunted with satisfaction. "Perfect, the more enemies that die in the first few seconds of our mutiny mean there will be less for us to worry about when the Romulans manage to organise some form of resistance." The Reman captain wasn't a fool and knew that the Romulans would form a resistance after the shock of his soldiers' betrayal wore off. Ravek thought it was a shame that he wouldn't be recording their furious expressions as the realisation of their so-called slaves openly rebelled against them. However, specific tasks would require Ravek's personal attention, so recording the failures of the Romulans onboard the station was sadly not an option.

"A Romulan resistance most likely won't amount to much by the time we enter the plan's final phase," Xavier had calculated a less than 2.5 chance of the Romulans succeeding in stopping them once the final phase was enacted. However, as a former organic life-form, the A.I knew the chaotic nature of sentient creatures and would thus err on the side of cause until their end goal was achieved. "Once the Romulans are out of the way, we can proceed with our objective concerning the hanger bay." Both knew the hanger bay mustn't be damaged as the final phase needed the Geth parts they've hidden within the hanger's walls and ventilation systems to be unharmed. Otherwise, they'll have to spend more time replicating the technology needed to enact the final phase.

Ravek relaxed into his seat as the two of them continued to discuss the plan. "I've already informed our allies onboard the convoy to avoid harming the hanger bay with their vessel's weapons systems." The two Reman lieutenants had readily agreed to follow Ravek's orders since he was considered the highest-ranked Reman officer within the entire Romulan Empire. "Of course, they'll not be able to act out their part of the plan until the recalibration to the vessel's weapon systems is completed." It should take them a couple of hours to achieve, and by then, Ravek will have finished his assigned tasks.

Xavier's avatar seemed to be giving off the feeling that it was smiling even though it was entirely featureless. "That's excellent news," the A.I was indeed pleased by the level of progress they've been making since the beginning of their alliance. "The Geth parts we've replicated within the labs have also reached optimum levels, and any more manufactured will be extremely useful in increasing our odds of success." The Geth parts in question are hidden within the secluded areas of the Hidden Shadow and simply waiting for the activation signal to be sent throughout the station.

"Hum, it's good to know all that time sneaking around was worth the effort." Ravek smiled thinly since transporting those Geth parts hadn't exactly been easy. The Romulans were arrogant, yet even they took their security seriously, which meant the Remans had to stealthily carry the Geth parts through the Jefferies tubes. The Reman Captain momentarily recalled how Onutix and Oviruk would constantly complain about the size of the Jefferies tubes and how amateurishly they were designed by the Romulan engineers.

"Manipulating all those security cameras wasn't exactly easy either." Xavier had to split his attention between multiple systems when he was manipulating the security network so that the Romulans didn't catch on to what they were doing with the replicators. "Anyway, I've just received an alert from Major Soteen's personal terminal that the High Command has opened a private communication line. I don't want to miss watching them chew out Soteen after he informs them of his failure." It also went unsaid that spying on such a meeting between the Hidden Shadow's military commander and High Command might reveal something they could use against the Romulans in future confrontations.

"Be sure to record that meeting as I'd like to watch the expression on Soteen's face when the High Command shows their displeasure." The High Command might let something slip as they chew out the Major, and Ravek would be a poor leader if he didn't take such an opportunity to learn more about the enemies' movements and future plans. Ravek understood the importance of information gathering since intel was a significant component in winning a war.

"I'll ensure that the video is the highest quality," Xavier promised. However, he would've recorded the meeting anyway since watching the Romulans make fools of themselves was always amusing. "Now, if you'll excuse me, I've got a meeting to spy on." The sole A.I onboard the station proceeded to download himself into the central mainframe. Once Xavier was gone, Ravek shut down the terminal leaving the room covered in darkness.

"I'd better go join the others in the celebration," Ravek raised from the seat while holstering a disruptor pistol to his right hip. "After all, if I'm not there to keep some order, they might decide to overindulge with the Romulan ale." The platoon had security duty tomorrow, and Ravek wanted the men within his platoon to at least be partly sober when the time came to perform their assigned duties.

Ravek exited his private quarters and proceeded to walk into the central part of the barracks, where upon entering, he saw the rest of the platoon celebrating like it was the last day in the universe. Ravek saw Lieutenant Nikrax standing at the centre of the area, a Romulan Ale bottom held within his hand and giving an impressive impersonation of Lieutenant Dulos. The Reman twins were seated next to Nikrax, appearing equally drunk off their assess, encouraging their Lieutenant to try impersonating Major Soteen.

Ravek chuckled at the sight of his second-in-command antics for a moment before he went over to a table that served as the refreshment and snack area for the party. The platoon captain grabbed a single bottle of Romulan Ale before finding a secluded part of the barracks where he could keep a close eye on the party without actively participating in the festivities. The minutes passed swiftly as the Remans celebrated their victory against the Romulans during the Hidden Shadow's first-ever war game.

"It seems the men are having fun, wouldn't you say, captain?" Ravek glanced to the side and saw Kiavek pressed against the nearby wall. A glass of Romulan Ale was lazily held within his hand.

Ravek breathed a soft sigh as he watched those underneath his command party like there is no tomorrow. "The men have a lot to be happy about since they've handed the Romulans a massive defeat that their pride wouldn't easily heal from." Ravek took a sip of Romulan Ale.

The duo stayed silent for a moment before Corporal Kiavek asked the question plaguing his mind for quite some time now. "So we're really going to do it?" Kiavek didn't need to elaborate as both knew what the platoon's stealth specialist was talking about.

Ravek sipped more Ale before answering. "Yes, everything's been set, and we'll enact the plan when the next convoy arrives." Kiavek sipped his own Ale whilst observing the ongoing party, those the stealth specialist called friends and comrades on the battlefield were having a blast. However, Kiavek knew the fun wouldn't last forever and that soon they'll again be walking through a river of blood. The only conciliation prize Kiavek saw was that the blood in question would be Romulan, thus making the stealth specialist feel zero guilt about the carnage arriving at the Hidden Shadow.

"Good, the sooner the plan is started, the sooner we free ourselves from our Romulan overlords." Kiavek raised his glass in a salute before downing the entire Ale in a single gulp. "But until then, I'll try getting the Lieutenant completely drunk off his ass." Kiavek pushed away from the wall and proceeded to head towards the direction of Lieutenant Nikrax. The Remans partying at the centre saw Kiavek coming. They greeted their comrade with open arms whilst also offering another bottle of Ale which the stealth specialist accepted without any fanfare.

Ravek smiled at the happiness of his men as they partied the night away. Yet, the Captain knew the joy would be temporary. As soon as the night ends, they'll be back to dealing with the Romulans, who'll be even more insufferable than ever before after getting their pointy-eared assess handed to them by those they view as lesser. However, for the sake of the plan, Ravek and those serving underneath his command will have to endure the Romulans until the time was right to strike against their pointy-eared oppressors.

Patience was the key to their eventual victory against the Romulans onboard the Hidden Shadow. Ravek was nothing if not patient when achieving goals that benefited his people.

The Hidden Shadow Research Facility.

Central Security Hub.

The Day Of The Convoy's Arrival.

"Major Soteen, sir!" A Romulan soldier manning a terminal called out to his superior whilst typing commands into the computer interface. "The convoy scheduled to arrive has just entered sensor range and is manoeuvring towards our location at full impulse." Those assembled within the security hub watch as trails of blueish light slowly fade from existence from the approaching vessel's impulse engines. The hub's viewscreen shows an image of the convoy vessel as it sailed through the void of space towards the Hidden Shadow.

The Romulan Major's expression was stern as he stared at the void ship shown on the viewscreen. "Excellent, send the request identification signal to the convoy as per security protocols demands." The identification signal was how the Hidden Shadow would determine a genuine convoy from a fake one that an enemy might use to infiltrate the research facility. If the convoy was indeed real, then it shall send back an identification code that was only entrusted to those that knew of the station's existence and had a need to come onboard the Hidden Shadow.

The officer operating the terminal saluted his superior before typing in the necessary commands into the computer system. "The request identification signal has been sent, sir. However, it will take a few minutes before we get a response from the convoy." The operator kept an eye on the communication relay so he could inform Soteen the very moment the identification code was received and confirmed to be genuine.

Major Soteen slightly smiled with pleasure at the news. "Good, inform me immediately after the security systems accept the identification code." The convoy was carrying much-needed supplies for the station's maintenance. Soteen wanted the supplies delivered as soon as possible since delays might cause unnecessary problems. The new Reman troops were on the convoy, and Soteen desired to have those savages off that vessel and sent down to the lower levels where they belonged.

As Major Soteen thought about how to best use the convoy's supplies, the Hidden Shadow research facility suddenly began to tremble as if an earthquake chose that moment to strike the space station. The tremors lasted for only a handful of seconds, yet the force had been enough to knock several Romulans not lucky enough to be near a terminal off their feet. The other Romulan officers within the security hub grabbed onto the terminals or anything else that might help them keep their balance.

"What in the name of the senate just happened?!" Major Soteen demanded to know whilst getting back up after the tremors accidentally knocked him over. A Romulan officer checked the terminal he was assigned to and paled at the readings coming in from all over the Hidden Shadow.

"Major!" Fear could be heard from the officer's tone as he called out towards Soteen location. "The environmental controls on the sections where the 3rd heavy infantry was last reported patrolling has lost all power, and level five forcefields have blocked off the entire area from the rest of the station!" Without a way to safely leave those sections, the 3rd heavy infantry will most likely suffocate after the oxygen supply was vented out of those select areas. The worst part was that leaving those sections was impossible, thanks to the level five forcefields keeping their comrades trapped inside the area.

"What?!" Major Soteen pushed the officer out of the way and started to type his own commands into the terminal. "How is that even possible? The safety overrides should've warned the 3rd heavy infantry to evacuate and give them enough time to leave before the forcefields within those sections became active!" The Major tried to shut down the forcefields to allow his soldiers a chance to escape. However, the computer only responded negatively to each attempt and bluntly told Soteen that he lacked the proper clearance to override the forcefields.

"Lack proper clearance?" Soteen's eyebrows twitched violently as the computer kept repeating that he wasn't at the correct level to access the station's forcefield controls. "I'm the commanding officer of this research facility, so how am I not qualified to access the station's environmental or forcefield controls!" The Major smashed a fist onto a terminal, causing the screen to slightly crack at the force he used to punch it.

"Well, for starters, you've no respect for this station's equipment," the Romulans within the security hub almost jumped out of their skins as a new unknown voice echoed throughout the room. "Add in the fact you're ugly as hell, and it's no wonder why the station's computer system thinks you're not capable of handling such delicate controls." Major Soteen felt white-hot rage fill his veins as the mysterious voice mocked him. The highest-ranking Romulan officer onboard the station tried to find the voice's source only to find nothing for his efforts.

"Where are you?!" Soteen's eyes gazed around the room in search of the intruder. "This is a highly classified research facility, and no one outside a select few should know about its existence!" When Soteen finds the fool who dared to infiltrate the Hidden Shadow, he'll have them sent to the laboratories to become the scientists' favourite lab rat.

"Highly classified indeed," the voice said mockingly as an officer reported that power was being diverted from non-essential systems towards the unused sections of the Hidden Shadow. "So classified that your government had this place constructed near Starfleet's border. Now I'm not usually one to jump to conclusions, but I'm pretty sure they'll not be too happy to know you're here within the Shifting Haze Nebula." The Romulans flinched while they were not technically within Federation space that doesn't mean Starfleet wouldn't take action against them if their existence became known.

"However, there's nothing to worry about since I've zero intentions of ratting you lot out to the Federation," that didn't reassure the Romulans since the unknown intruder could simply be lying to them. "After all, it's more beneficial if I handle you myself." Soteen felt rage bubble within his heart at the unknown's words. The rage intensified when an officer reported that more environmental systems around the Hidden Shadow were beginning to go offline.

"Yourself!" Soteen seethed whilst trying to regain control of the computer systems. "Don't be such an arrogant fool, intruder. We've over 1,200 men scattered throughout this entire station! Sooner or later, we'll find you, and when the time comes, I'll make sure that you'll suffer a fate far worse than death!" Soteen vowed for everyone to hear whilst attempting to override the environmental controls only to receive a message which read 'The Cake Was A Lie' for his troubles. The intruder laughed when Soteen roared furiously after reading the message, which didn't make any sense to the Romulans.

"Oh, I'm quivering in my shoes," suddenly, the view screen reactivated, showing an image of Xavier's avatar. "Although, technically speaking, I don't wear shoes, but you dumb-assess get the idea." The Romulans pulled out their disruptor pistols and aimed them towards the viewscreen. Xavier snorted at the actions taken by the Romulans since harming the viewscreen wouldn't cause any type of damage to him.

"What in the name of the senate are you!?" Soteen demanded to know as every Romulan present prepared to fire on the view screen. Xavier glanced around the hub for a moment choosing to answer the Major's question.

"Huh, why is it always violence with you people?" Xavier sounded genuinely annoyed by the Romulans' antics. "I'm Xavier Holmes an A.I that's been living onboard the Hidden Shadow for the last eight months now," the assembled Romulans paled since A.I were highly dangerous, which was why the Senate decided to ban the creation of any type of A.I. "Not that you would've known I was here since I've taken great care to hide my existence." Soteen was inwardly cursing as there was absolutely no telling how much harm the A.I calling itself Xavier had done to the Hidden Shadow.

Soteen subtlety gestured to an officer to attempt to override the hub systems. "If you've been here for months, why chose to reveal yourself now?" The Major knew he had to keep the A.I's focus on him while the nameless officer tried to regain control of the hub. "Surely an A.I such as yourself should know the fate that awaits you once we've retaken the station." The Romulan protocol for A.I was clean-cut as any artificial intelligence was to be contained, its point of origin located and the A.I was to be destroyed when all information regarding it was obtained for future study.

"Oh, I'm quite aware." Xavier's avatar gave the impression of open hostility. The officer's terminal exploded without warning, causing the man to be sent flying back into the wall. "Wow, these terminals are damn dangerous; you guys should really invest in some circuit breakers because as things stand, the terminals are deathtraps just waiting to go off." Two Romulans raced over to check on the downed officer. They gave the man a thorough once over and granted Sotten a swift negative motion of the head, silently telling the Major that the officer was dead.

"Anyway, I'm showing myself now," Xavier continued, not giving the Romulan corpse a second glance. "Is because the final preparations for the station's hostile takeover are complete." The Hidden Shadow trembled again, causing several officers to curse at the tremors' lousy timing. Soteen managed to keep his footing and was glaring murderously at the featureless A.I.

"Even if you've plotted for this so-called hostile takeover for months," The Romulan Major stood tall and proud as he addressed the artificial enemy. "We're the sons and daughters of Romulus, and we shall never fall to a foe who is foolish enough to fight us by themselves!" The surrounding Romulans cheered for their leader as he was right! No proud child of Romulus will fall to such a cowardly foe who chose to hide within their station's systems like a Reman rather than facing them head-on like a true Romulan warrior.

Xavier stared at the Romulan whilst giving off the feeling that he wasn't impressed. "Truly Romulans are the most deluded species in the Alpha Quadrant." The A.I spoke in a deadpan tone while enslaving more systems as the seconds ticked by. "And besides, you've made one critical mistake…." The entrance to the security hub suddenly opened, allowing for the Remans to enter the room. The Romulans were at first glad to see their servants. However, the joy quickly transformed into dread when the Remans pointed their disruptor weapons towards them.

"The mistake of believing that I was working alone." Xavier's tone was smug as the Remans fired their weapons upon the Romulans, who screamed as they were cut down like a flock of sheep before a ravenous pack of wolves. However, the disruptors were set on stun as the A.I needed at least some of the high ranked Romulans to survive this situation. Once the Romulans were unconscious, Lieutenant Nikrax moved to stand within the circle of terminals, and upon arrival, he removed his armours mask.

"All targets are neutralised," Nikrax kept a neutral expression as he bowed by the waist to the A.I. "The Station's central security hub is now under our command, sir." The other Remans went to work gathering the unconscious Romulans as they'll need to be restrained so they'll no longer be a potential threat to their operations.

"Excellent, have the Major and his officers sent to the preselected locations as planned and remember to place them in the positions we discussed last month." Lieutenant Nikrax saluted before giving orders to take the Romulans to specific locations throughout the Hidden Shadow. After the bodies were taken away, Xavier knew there was one last thing he needed to do before devoting his attention to terminating every single Romulan that didn't have a part in their plans.

"Establishing connection with the communications network," Nikrax watched as the aforementioned system was being hacked into by Xavier. "Uploading activation signal to all Geth platforms within the Hidden Shadow!" Unseen to all organic lifeforms, a wave of energy-containing the activation signal flowed through the communication network and was received by the dormant Geth that were hidden within the station's walls. The Geth immediately downloaded themselves into the platforms and proceeded to smash their way out of the walls.

The rebellion of the Hidden Shadow has begun.
