26. Dreamer

When her eyes were closed and she had long since succumbed into the sweetness that was sleep, Sally would slip into a peaceful sleep, dreams dancing inside her mind. She would dream about many things.

Sometimes she'd dream about her childhood and remember every sweet memory she'd ever had or the memories and good times she shared with her friends. A lot of nights, though, she would dream about him.

Yes, on numerous occasions, thoughts of him swam inside her mind. She'd effortlessly conjured about images of him, forever imprinting them on her memory. How she longed to see him again, to be able to lose herself in his crimson depths and feel his lips against hers!

They said he died, but Sally just couldn't accept that. She knew he was out there somewhere, and she had faith that he'd returned. And when he did, she would be there to embrace him with arms wide open.
