Pokegonball X

Ashku quietly sat on his bed starring at a small action figure between his feet. He was fifteen years old, and was patiently waiting for the day Master Oakshi would announce that he was responsible enough to go on his own journey. His father went on his journey when he was eighteen, so Ashku didn't have to many hopes of going at this age. He looked up and fell backwards onto his bed. Ashku spread his arms apart and closed his eyes. "Someday, I will be old enough to receive my very own pokegon." He drifted off to sleep. * * * Ashku woke up and realized what time it was. Ten twenty-three o'clock. He stood up and stretched. "Oh man, mum is gonna kill me. I over slept again." He let out a big yawn. Ashku began to get dressed when he remembered something, at ten this morning they where supposed to announce on channel three who passed the test! "Oh no! Oh no!" He ran to the T.V., half dressed, and turned it on. "And that is our report on who all can go to Master Oakshi's house and collect their first ever pokegon and utensils. Please tune in next year for the newest kids on the path!" The program ended. Ashku blinked and sat down. "Oh man. This really bites. I missed who all made it! Maybe they said my name. Then I won't know if they have a pokegon for me, and I won't get to choose one at the Master's house.and I'll go down in history as the only boy who didn't show up." Ashku started to get mad. He picked up the guide book to the perfect pokegon trainer, which he had read seven times and had memorized it, and punched a hole through it. "Stupid." Ashku wasn't any normal kid. He was actually a saijin, who had landed on earth at age two, and a family that lived in East city found him. He naturally was a born fighter, so he trained day after day. No kid in school ever picked on him because his muscles were huge. Ashku wore a blue jacket with no shirt, his pants were blue, and he wore an official pokegon hat. He slipped on his green tennis shoes. "Hey Chess! Get up you lazy dog." Ashku picked up a bundle of blankets beside his bed. "C'mon Chess, time for breakfast." Chess was a huge German Shepard, with a black saddleback. His feet were as big as an Ashku's fist, and his teeth were kept very healthy. Chess stood up and stretched. "Hungry, Chess?" Chess replied with a powerful bark, he happily wagged his tail. "Good boy. Let's go!" Ashku reached for the doorknob, but it turned before he touched it. "What?" "Congratulations!" Ashku's mom burst through his door. The door hit Ashku's head. He blinked a few times and backed up. "Oh sorry honey, are you ok?" "Uh, I guess." He rubbed his head. "Ouch- what? What did I do? Why are you congratulating me mum?" "Didn't you get up this morning? You passed the test sweet-heart!" She yelled. "I did! Wow!!" He smiled. "Oh, I better get down to Master Oakshi's house! Can I take Chess?" "I don't see why not. I'll pack your stuff while you're down there. I can meet you at the Master's house." "Great! I'll grab breakfast afterwards." Ashku and Chess ran out the of his room.
