She was sitting just like she always did, with a book and her reading glasses on the brick of her nose as usual. The book was open on her lap as it always was, her hair was done up in a loose bun at the pale nape of her neck as it always was, her eyesight on the book as poised as it always was. It was just another day of reading. Not.
go away
i'm afraid with you there could be no escape
i have no faith,
i've seen truth and reason down the drain
There was a bang, at the door, and another, and another. "It's open;" the girl groped impatiently finishing her sentence. The door opened. More like trashed opened the girl thought, looking up.
but i cling to you for survival
and i know that you are
my bible
"What's wrong, Malfoy? Bad day with
your girlfriend?" Hermione peered at him with a knowing smirk, tilting her head
to the left.
"No." His grey eyes threw her a look that shocked her, it appeared almost full of confusion. She saw his surprisingly full lips twist in desperation as if he were going mad, well, at least she wasn't alone in her madness.
get out i'm scared
, for the moment
but i know you'll be there
well i'm scared for the moment
but i know you'll be there
"Why are you doing this to me?!" He suddenly cried out with such accusation that she actually thought she did something.
"What? I'm doing nothing to you!" Her eyes blazed with confusion, HE accusing HER of doing something to him! The almighty prince was insulting her constantly and SHE was accused? MADNESS.
"Yes you are! Don't try to look innocent, because you aren't, it only makes it worse!" He screeched, eyes bulging madly while he was pulling his hair out from his head.
She stood up, anger brimming from her eyes.
"Making what worse! I am confused to the pits of hell and all you can do is accuse me of something I cannot understand!" Hermione wasn't quite the screamer, but today was a chance to finally prove stereotypes wrong.
by the way thing
s you
say freak me out,
i go out of my head
i feel no shame when
I turn my back
"Oh don't you give me that speech, Granger! You know full well what I mean! You and your…your little…games are driving me insane! Can't you see, I need an explanation for this!" This was starting to scare her, here in front of her was Draco Malfoy, proud and arrogant Slythetin, Head Boy, usually acting quite apathetic accusing her of an invincible problem that she doesn't understand.
"Games. GAMES. What games Malfoy?!" She was slowly getting more and more pissed by the passing word, Draco was making her go insane, she would soon be joining him in his insane façade.
and i walk away
but i cling to you for survival
and i know that you are
my bible
He stopped chocking for breath, his eyes looking into her own fully puzzled gaze, his gaze scared her, it wasn't insane or confused, it was…weird….
He was getting closer, no, it must be her imagination, yes, just too much coffee yes…too much coffee….oh god he was really getting closer. And with a smile, not a smirk a smile.
"Malfoy, what are you doing?" She fidgeted, suddenly paranoid, not noticing her glasses fall.
"This." Ohh, and a this she would never forget. Her notion about her lips were correct, they were full and soft, yet ferocious and demanding, she didn't mind at all….oh madness was a good thing…sometimes….
get out i'm scared
, for
the moment but i know you'll be there
well i'm scared
for the moment but i know
you'll be there
A/N:yeah, so what if I stole the song from Gob, it's called For The Moment, and yes, my story was terrible, but I don't care because I love that song…..
