Have you ever looked into a middle of a book, and started there? I doubt it. Then why would you start a mystirious plot in the middle and call it the begining? Ever think how the story may have changed in your mind if Seifer and Squall were like close knit brothers and that's the reason why they act like they did?
Ever think Squall was trying to be protect his little brother Siefer. Trying to prevent the mistakes that he did make. Ever think the fight that day was just a squable between the two when Seifer couldn't take it. The scars a lasting result. Maybe there hearts have a deeper scar?
Have you ever looked deeper that what's on the surface? They act more like brothers then enemies. Like to argue that point, they carry a similar weapon, and they fight like they trained together more then at the school.
It's funny how you can disturb the pages of a book with a couple similarities. If we started at the first day everyone met everyones opioins would be differnt. But it was decided to start in the middle. So we know little of what happened in the past. One can only assume. Take a good look though and you may find something new.
Maybe the story didn't end with a kiss.
Squall walks up a path. He hated to leave Rinoa standing like that. Dammit, why now? Up ahead Seifer stood staring up at the stars. Hearing crunching feet he looks over at Squall.
"Hey bro, I just wanted to appoligize for the things that I done." Seifer says sincerly. "I know I was being a jerk."
Squall shrugs.
"Well I should be going."
"Stay, I'm certian the others will forgive you... In time." Squall responds quickly.
Seifer thinks. "Only if you got food left."
"Your always hungry." Squall says walking away.
"Yeah so?" Seifer fallows Squall. "I need it if I'm going to kick you ass someday."
Squall chuckles. Seifer beating him in a fight, that'll be the day.
