Disclaimer: I don't own Harry Potter, etc.

Author's Note: It's summer time, so even though this chapter takes place in the winter time, I made sure to throw in some bikinis. ;)

That said, maybe it's just me, but the second task is hard to write about & make it interesting, let alone funny. But I finally came up with an idea or two. Hope you all enjoy!

The students at Hogwarts had gotten used to Harry Potter doing ridiculous things, at least to some extent. But it was still a bit shocking when two of him came walking into the Great Hall more than a little late for lunch.

Each of the Harrys was carrying one of the Patil twins in his arms, bridal style.

Padma was just sighing and relaxing while Parvati giggled and enjoyed being in the spotlight, waving at everybody.

"There you are!" Lavender grinned. "So, I assume you had a fun night? Fleur said something about all of you celebrating together."

"It was a very, very good night," Parvati said with a smile.

"Thanks babe," Harry number one said.

"Did you have fun too?" Harry number two asked Padma.

"I may have," Padma smirked. "Why? Do you want to do it again?"

Both Harrys and Parvati replied in chorus, "Duh!"

"What are you doing?" Hermione yelled, glaring at Harry. She kept switching back and forth between the two of him, as if trying to figure out which was the right one. "You're breaking all the rules of time travel! You can't let you see yourself or terrible things will happen. How are you doing this? Why are you doing this?"

"Well, my honeys were a little worn out after last night," Harry one said.

"And even after getting a good night's sleep," Harry two added, "I wanted to make sure to take good care of them."

"That's why we carried them down here."

"And why we cast cushioning charms before we set them down."

"And why we're going to carefully take them back to their dorms to rest after we eat."

"And obviously, we needed two of us for that last thing," Harry two finished. "Because they have different dorms, obviously."

Hermione's eyes looked tired after having to bounce back and forth between the twin Harrys. She let out a little scream and banged her head against the table. "Dear God, I know I stopped believing in you several years ago, but please don't let Harry destroy the space-time continuum. I'll go back to church next summer with my parents, I promise."

"Hermione, dude, it's all good," Harry one tried to cheer her up.

"Yeah, don't worry so much," Harry two added with a grin. "Sometimes, the rules were meant to be broken."

"Especially when it makes life more fun."

Hermione growled and held her head in her hands.

Fleur chose that moment to come over and join the conversation. "Bonjour."

"Hey babe," Harry one grinned.

"Is zis a new talent you 'ave developed?" she asked.

"I guess I hadn't told you yet," Harry two replied. "My mentor gave me a time turner, and man did I need it. There's barely enough time for two honeys, let alone three. Plus, I almost didn't have enough time to work out properly and prepare for the tournament at the same time."

"Zen, I suppose you can escort me back to my carriage once you are finished eating?"

A third Harry came walking down the aisle and Hermione let out a frustrated screech.

"I'd be delighted to," Harry three said, grinning at Fleur and offering his arm.

"Wonderful." She grinned at the first two Harrys and the Patils. "I shall see you all later, mes amours."

"Minerva?"

"Yes, Albus?"

"Would you escort young Harry up to my office after lunch?"

Albus Dumbledore was sitting in his office and double checking his stash. He had only had one gram of magic mushrooms that morning with breakfast, but it seemed that it had been an extra strong dose for some reason. While he'd had plenty of hallucinations over the years, he couldn't remember the last time he saw double on shrooms.

Let alone triple!

That was more typical of when Abe gave him some of the good stuff- what his brother called 'rocket fuel' for some reason. One glass of that and Albus would go home with anything- even including a woman on one occasion, much to his horror the next morning.

The hangover had been truly awful too.

But, if these mushrooms had this amount of kick to them, Albus would have to try to get more.

"Ah, Harry, thank you for coming," he smiled, eyes twinkling merrily.

While some people might have found it odd, to Dumbledore's amusement, the more they twinkled, the more stoned he was. It was a neat little spell he had developed during one particularly fun evening back in the sixties, and after a bit of a magical accident one time when he had been experimenting with quaaludes back in 1970 the effect had become permanent. But after hearing how the muggles had referred to those delightful little pills as 'mandrakes' he just hadn't been able to refuse the opportunity to try them out..

Apparently he had been staring off into the distance for a little while, because Minerva broke his revery. "Is everything alright, headmaster?"

"Yes, yes, everything is fine," he replied. "You may leave us, Minerva."

"Mr. Potter has asked that I not."

"Why not?"

"I don't trust you, dude," Harry scowled at him. "And I know McG will have my back if you try anything evil, like using a compulsion spell on me to make me do your bidding."

"I wouldn't do that," Dumbledore frowned. "I prefer to only use the compulsion charm on myself when I need to remember to buy more lemon drops. Can you imagine if I ran out? It would be a black day for Hogwarts."

"Yeah, well..."

"I believe I've told you, Albus," Minerva interjected, "that the board does not want you speaking to any young men alone in your office. You cause enough trouble already."

"Oh fine," Albus sighed. "I was just wanting to ask about mister Potter's appearance at lunch. I do believe I saw two and eventually even three of him at once, and I wanted to know how that happened."

"Or if you were just on something?" Minerva glared at him.

"I have no idea what you mean," Albus smiled, his free hand making sure his desk drawer was closed and locked. The old biddy wouldn't be allowed to flush his precious stash again. "Harry, can you answer my question?"

The lad shrugged at him and lifted up his necklace. "I got this sweet time turner thing from the Thicc Daddy."

"Ah, so there were two of you," Albus sighed. Alas! The shrooms weren't as awesome as he had hoped.

"Yeah, can I go now?"

"If you must."

After Harry had left, Minerva turned back to Albus. "You're not going to complain about a non-Ministry time turner being given to one of the students?"

"I leave that sort of fussing in your capable hands," Dumbledore smiled. 'I wouldn't want to deal with that sort of boring nonsense' went unspoken as she would just complain at him otherwise. "I assume you'll watch over young Harry like always."

"Of course," she replied with a glare. "Someone has to."

"Wonderful! Well, I'll leave you to it then."

"Good afternoon, Albus," Minerva replied.

Once she had left, Albus opened his drawer back up. It turned out the mushrooms hadn't been extra magical at all. Such a pity.

"We need to talk," Harry said one evening, once they left the Great Hall after dinner.

"You sound serious," Padma replied with a frown. "You never sound serious."

Parvati giggled and rolled her eyes. "Harry can be serious when he feels like it. You need to relax more, sis."

"Look, I just wanted you two to know that Fleur told me something about the golden egg thing," Harry said. "You know, the one I got from the dragon."

"What about it?" Padma asked.

"Fleur said I have to listen to it underwater."

"She just told you that?"

"Well, we might have bargained a little bit," Harry grinned.

"Do I want to know?" Padma scowled.

"It wasn't anything bad," he shrugged. "Nothing I hadn't done before, either."

Parvati laughed again. "I can imagine. But I think you're going to need to do some 'bargaining' with us later. And I call dibs on going first."

"Hey!" Padma yelped. "No fair. You went first last time."

"Let's not fight, my sweet little honeys," Harry cooed as he pulled both girls against him. "Plus, let's not get off topic yet. We need to find a place where we can all stick our heads underwater. And I don't want to try the lake in the middle of winter."

A dreamy voice interrupted them, making the trio turn around in the previously empty hallway.

"I know where you can go," Luna said. "The prefects' bath. It's practically got a swimming pool in there."

"Hey, Luna," Harry smiled. "How are you, dude?"

"I'm doing well. Daddy and I spent the holiday break in the Alps. The muggles have this fascinating game they play called skiing. The point seems to be who can survive the worst crash possible. I wasn't very good, but Daddy broke both of his legs four days in a row. It was quite impressive."

"Did you have a healer on hand?" Padma looked worried. "I hope you weren't out in the wilderness alone."

"Oh, it was fine," Luna shrugged. "I learned how to heal broken bones years ago. It was probably a good thing too."

"That sounds really useful," Padma agreed. "I should probably learn it since Harry's always getting into trouble."

"Where is this bathroom anyway?" Parvati asked.

"I can show you," Luna smiled, beckoning them onwards as she started skipping towards the stairs.

Once they arrived at the correct door, Luna even had the password for them. Peeking inside, the group was stunned.

"It's quite lovely."

"That's an understatement, Luna," Padma whispered.

"This looks perfect," Parvati smiled and turned to the others. "But we'll need to do this some other time."

"Okay. Why?" Harry asked.

"It will be a surprise," Parvati replied with a wicked gleam in her eye. "But don't worry, you'll love it."

"I can't believe we're doing this," Padma muttered as the trio sneaked down the hall towards the bathroom a week later, all huddled together under Harry's invisibility cloak.

"Why? We've broken curfew before," Parvati replied.

"Yeah, and I've still got the headmaster's note that said I'm supposed to do stuff like this," Harry added.

"For some reason, I don't think this is quite what he meant," Padma huffed. "And sis, I think you know what I mean."

"Don't you like my cunning plan?" Parvati teased.

"What are you two talking about?"

"You'll see soon enough, Harry," she grinned.

"Okay, well, we're here."

He uttered the password and the door swung open. It was still very impressive.

"You know," Padma began with a smile at Harry, "if you become a prefect next year, we'll be able to come use this room without having to sneak in."

"I am pretty awesome, so it shouldn't be a problem," he replied, making her giggle.

"You will bring me with you, won't you Harry?" Parvati asked with a pout.

"Sure, babe."

"Good, because I think we all know Granger's got the spot locked up for the Gryffindor girls," Parvati added as the door closed behind them.

"Yeah, she's an obvious choice," Padma agreed. "I'm hoping I'll get chosen too."

"Who else could they pick?" Harry asked.

"Are you saying that just because you don't know the name of any other Ravenclaws?" Padma asked.

"I know Luna."

"She's not even in our year, Harry," Parvati laughed.

"Still counts," he muttered.

"Alright, let's stop teasing him and get these robes off," Parvati suggested.

Harry pulled his robe over his head and then his eyes went wide and his mouth dropped open.

The girls had somehow brought their bikinis to Hogwarts, Parvati in red and Padma in purple.

"God, I love you two."

Parvati laughed and kissed him. "And don't you forget it."

"How could I?" he grinned before pulling Padma over to him. "I thought you were done teasing me though."

"If you're good, it won't be teasing," she replied before she melted into his kiss.

"Okay, well let's hurry and get in the water," Parvati suggested. "Even in here, I can still feel a bit of a draft."

Soon enough they had the pool filled with hot water and a few bubbles and the girls both sighed happily as they started to warm up. Harry was just enjoying having the two of them beside him and thinking how glad he was that it was the weekend so hopefully his honeys would be up for a lot of late night fun.

"He's got that goofy look again," Padma chuckled as she looked over at her sister and then leaned back against Harry's chest.

"There would be something very wrong if he was capable of thought right now," Parvati said with a smile.

"We'll need the egg though," Padma pointed out. "Harry?"

"Hmmm?" he mumbled, still in a daze.

"Oh, never mind," she snorted. "Dobby?"

There wasn't any pop when the elf appeared. "What can Dobby do for the great Harry Potter sir and his miss honeys?"

"Can you get Harry's golden egg please?"

"Of course." He floated it over to them.

"You can just drop it in the water," Parvati said.

"Is miss honey sure?" he frowned. "Dobby wouldn't want master Harry's shiny egg to get all rusty."

"It's a magic egg, so it should be fine," Padma assured him.

"If miss honey says so."

Parvati poked Harry's side. "Earth to Harry! We need to deal with the egg so we can have fun."

"Right, yeah," he nodded.

Padma flicked his ear. "Come on, just focus for a little bit, please?"

"Okay," Harry nodded again, but his brain seemed to slightly engage finally. "For the record, you two are going to have to do most of the thinking, alright?"

"Isn't that usually my job anyway?" Padma snorted.

"Smoking hot wet girlfriends in bikinis," Harry growled. "Be glad I can still make sentences."

"Alright, let's all take a big breath and see if this whole 'listen to it underwater' thing works like Fleur said."

"I guess it's a good thing we didn't invite her to join us," Padma giggled. "Harry's brains might be leaking out of his ears."

"Mine too," Parvati sighed.

Padma rolled her eyes at her sister.

"Oh come on, she's obviously a super babe," Parvati teased.

"You need to focus too," Padma grumbled. "Come on you goofballs, it's egg time."

"Alright, one, two, three."

They all went under the water and listened to the song in the egg.

Harry mostly stared at his girlfriends though. That was why he was grinning like a dope when they surfaced.

"Merfolk," Padma said. "I've heard there are some in the Black Lake."

"Harry's going to have to go swimming in that in February?" Parvati groaned. "You'll have to make sure he brushes up on his warming charm before hand. Just not right now, for obvious reasons."

"I think it's worse than that though," Padma added with a sigh.

"What do you mean?"

Padma poked Harry in the side. "Hey, what would you miss most?"

"Huh?" he cocked his head at her. "Something I would miss? What, like my sword? They can't steal my sword, that would be super uncool."

"Don't be quite so literal," Padma replied. "The thing you miss most could be a person."

Harry frowned and thought for a moment. "That's totally not fair. I'd have to rescue both of you."

Parvati grinned. "Good answer."

Padma nodded. "I imagine they'll only take one of us, but I wonder how they'll decide."

"You could always do rock paper scissors again," Harry suggested.

"I don't know," Padma said.

"How am I supposed to swim that far down?" Harry wondered.

"Gillyweed," she replied. "Don't worry, I'll make sure you have some before we get to the second task."

"Dobby can be doings that for the great Harry Potter!" The elf disappeared with a pop and then reappeared less than a minute later. "Dobby has brought plenty."

Harry looked at the bag of slimy stuff. "What is that?"

"You eat it," Padma answered.

"Do I have to?"

"It will give you gills and allow you to swim as deep as you need to," she explained. "With how much Dobby got you, you could practice a lot."

"Okay. I guess we'll need to figure out some spells to help me fight underwater. I'll ask Hagrid about what sorts of things live in the lake."

"The giant squid is supposed to be pretty docile," Parvati added.

"Yeah, but right now," Harry set the egg aside and grinned at his honeys. "I think that's enough thinking for one night."

Harry slumped down in his seat at breakfast.

"You're more than a bit late," Padma said.

"They took your sister," he mumbled. "Last night, I guess."

"Oh, I know," she replied. "We were both approached, but I told Parvati she could do it if she wanted."

"Really?"

"Yeah, you know that she'll enjoy playing the damsel in distress for you," Padma grinned. "Besides, you do remember that it's still winter, right? There's no way that I'm willingly getting in the lake before June."

"Good point," he yawned.

"Well, as you like to say, I am your brainy honey," she teased.

Harry nodded and piled his plate high with pancakes, sausage, bacon, and eggs.

"I guess your appetite is still strong."

"I'm gonna be burning a lot of energy swimming today," he replied with a shrug.

"'Arry! I need your 'elp." The French champion looked quite upset as she came over and sat across from them.

"Hey, Fleur. What's up babe?"

"Zey took my little sister! For ze lake task. I cannot believe maman would allow zis!"

"Just stick with me," he smiled at her. "We'll get your sister back and Parvati and show everybody how awesome we are."

She took a deep breath and nodded. "I would greatly appreciate your 'elp, 'Arry. But 'ow can you be so calm about zis? Zey did 'ave us facing nesting mother dragons for ze first task. What if ze dangers are even worse today?"

"It'll be fine," he grinned. "Just remember the one really important thing."

"What?"

"I'm Harry fucking Potter!"

Fleur frowned and leaned over to Padma. "Zat is not 'is real middle name is it?"

Padma snorted. "No. He's just a superbly confident lunatic."

"Damn right!" Harry nodded.

When they got down to the lake, Harry took his spot next to Fleur and watched with baited breath as she removed her robe. He had to admit he was a little disappointed by the one piece swimsuit she was wearing.

"What, no bikini?"

"I am not interested in showing off for all zese morons," she rolled her eyes.

"But, if I help you rescue your sister, you'll wear one later on for me, right?"

She shook her head and chuckled at him. "You 'ave a very one track mind."

"Yeah, but it's on the right track." Harry waved as a number of girls cheered when he took off his robes and revealed his muscles for the crowd. Then he turned to Fleur with a curious expression. "So, tell me about your sister."

"She's only nine, 'Arry," Fleur snorted.

"Oh."

"Gabrielle is 'er name, and she is quite jealous of me."

"How come?"

Fleur grinned at him. "Because I 'ave 'ad ze famous 'Arry Potter. You are well known in France too."

"Then today I can just improve on that," he nodded seriously. "Now, I asked my dude Hagrid about the monsters in the lake. He said there's grindylows, merfolk, and the giant squid. The only real worry will be the grindylows; they're annoying little bastards. But if we stick together, I'm sure we can kick their butts."

"Alright."

Harry reached into his pocket as the one bozo from the ministry started giving his speech. Taking a handful of gillyweed, he noticed Fleur grimacing. "Do you want some?"

"I shall stick with ze Bubblehead Charm," she sneered at it.

"It's not as gross as it looks, really," he shrugged. Harry then pulled out a bottle of tabasco sauce and dowsed the gillyweed with it.

"What are you doing?"

"Spicy stuff is good, you know," Harry said with a smile. "Plus, it will make me thirsty, which will help get past the shock of growing gills. Trust me, I've tried it a couple of times now. Oh yeah, and a warming charm before we start."

"Zat much I can agree with," Fleur replied as they both waved their wands to help deal with the frigid weather.

"Champions, begin!"

Harry swallowed his spicy weed and dove into the water. Fleur was soon next to him and they began swimming together.

Padma yawned a few minutes after the Champions had disappeared under the surface of the lake. She turned and noticed Hermione reading a book- no surprise there. "Do you have something good?"

"Hmm?" Hermione looked up with a frown. "Oh, sorry, what did you say?"

"I asked if you were reading anything good?"

"It's just a bit of extra credit for Arithmancy."

Padma shook her head and sighed. "You do know that we both are already acing the class, right? There's nothing beyond an Outstanding."

Hermione shrugged. "I've always believed in doing my best. Besides, next year we've got our OWLs, and it's never too early to start preparing-"

"So, what happened with Krum?" Padma interrupted.

"Nothing," Hermione replied. "It was just a dance. We didn't really have anything in common."

"I guess you aren't really the quidditch groupie type."

"No, I am not," Hermione hissed.

Padma hummed. "Harry was right."

"About what?" Hermione asked with narrowed eyes.

"That we need to get you a boyfriend."

Padma struggled to keep a straight face as Hermione immediately blushed and then scowled. "I hardly think Harry Potter of all people should be the one giving out relationship advice. If it wasn't bad enough that he's been dating both you and your sister for years, he needed to add a third honey to his harem- and even worse, she's a French Veela!"

"That should tell you that he knows how to keep us happy," Padma teased. "Also, you might want to be careful- your jealousy is showing."

"Hrmph!" Hermione pouted.

Padma barely kept the grin off her face. "Did you know that Anthony Goldstein thinks you're cute?"

Hermione blushed again but said nothing, putting her face back in her book.

Padma waited and a minute later she finally broke.

"Really?"

Parvati was going to be so jealous that she was playing matchmaker without her.

Meanwhile, Harry and Fleur had reached a swarm of grindylows that seemed to particularly have it out for the French champion. Harry was shouting at the little bastards to keep their filthy hands off his honey and smashing their heads together whenever he could grab hold of any of them.

On the other hand, Fleur was using her wand to banish them away. It was working to some extent, but there were a lot of the annoying little things.

She grimaced as she looked back at Harry who had taken a bite out of one of them.

"Sirius took me to a sushi place last summer, so I will totally eat all of you fuckers!"

Fleur could not believe it, but here she was in the middle of a fight and she couldn't help but stop and roll her eyes at her beau. He was plenty of fun to be around, but dear Padma's statement was proving more true than she had realized- Harry really was a lunatic.

A few more of the grabby little hands were on her then and she swiped down at them with a Revulsion jinx when all of a sudden they fled.

"Good afternoon," a deep rumbling voice shook the water around her. Fleur turned around and gasped at an absolutely enormous squid.

"Hey, mister squid dude," Harry smiled. "Thanks for that, bro."

"You're welcome," the squid replied. "Myrtle said you were cool."

"I haven't seen her in a little while. How's she doing?"

"I'm right here, Harry," came a growling voice.

That time, Fleur shrieked. The ghost of a teenage girl was floating just off to the side of the squid.

"Hey, Myrtle. How are you doing, babe?"

"Much better since you found the prefect's bath," she blushed.

"Oh yeah?"

"I like to watch," she purred as she glided over to Harry and tried to rub his chest before pouting. "It's not as good as the real thing would be, but..."

"Well, I'm probably going to need to take Parvati there to warm her up after all this," Harry grinned. "Now, I can't speak for my honey, but I'm not afraid of having an audience."

"Excuse me," the squid interjected. "I was hoping to ask you for a favor."

"Alright," Harry shrugged. "What's up, dude?"

"Myrtle tells me that you are friends with the Lovegood."

"Yeah, Luna's cool. What about her?"

"Her family knows powerful old magic," the squid replied. "I was hoping to ask her for a boon."

"What sort of boon?" Harry looked like he didn't know what the word meant. Fleur wondered if he was just playing up his 'dumb jock' act or not- it was hard to tell sometimes.

"You've probably heard of Nessie."

Fleur was struggling to try to read what passed for a giant squid's facial expressions, but it looked almost sad, as if it were trying to sigh... which came out as a spray of tiny bubbles.

"You mean the Loch Ness Monster?" Harry asked.

"That's her," the squid waved a tentacle. "She's my ex."

"Oh, um..." Harry scratched his head. "I'm sorry, dude."

"I was hoping you could talk to the Lovegood on my behalf, to see if she would be willing to..." The squid stopped and waved its tentacles around for a minute. "I believe the current phrase is 'hook me up' with a new lady."

"Dude, yeah, no problem," Harry nodded. "Luna's cool, so I'm sure she'd be glad to help."

"Thank you, Harry Potter," the squid lowered itself slightly, almost as if it was trying to bow. "The tales of you are true: you are an honorable warrior. Follow me, young ones, and I shall clear the path for you to your loved ones."

Myrtle giggled. "And just remember Harry, no matter how nice their boobies might be, mermaids aren't... compatible with humans."

"That's okay," Harry grimaced. "I like my ladies to have some sexy legs to wrap around me when it's time to have fun. The fish tail thing really doesn't do it for me."

The ghost slipped away, back towards the castle, and Fleur had to hurry to swim after Harry and the squid.

She was still struggling to come to terms with the last few minutes when they found themselves being led through the center of the merfolk village.

Luna sneezed. Something important was happening. And unfortunately, she couldn't see what it was.

Therefore, she got up from her seat and pushed through the crowd until she found Padma and Hermione sitting next to each other, with Granger blushing as she hid her face in a book.

"Hello."

"Hi, Luna," Padma replied with a giggle. "How are you?"

"I'm alright. Thank you for asking." She sat down next to her. "Harry hasn't mentioned anything particularly strange lately, has he?"

"This is Harry we're talking about," Padma rolled her eyes. "You're going to have to be a lot more specific."

"I don't know," Luna frowned. "Anything having to do with me, maybe?"

"Not that I know of."

Luna shrugged. "Well, if it is a big deal, I'm sure I'll find out soon enough."

"We can ask him later," Padma added. "Assuming he doesn't spend the entire afternoon needing to 'warm up' with my sister and Fleur."

Luna noticed Hermione blushing again. "I suppose so. He is quite lucky. So, what were you talking to Hermione about that got her all excited earlier?"

"Welcome, champions."

There was a ring of mermaids around the hostages sleeping underwater. Fleur immediately rushed towards Gabrielle, wanting to be assured of her safety.

"Whoa," Harry mumbled. "Myrtle was right; those are some nice boobies."

"Thank you, Harry Potter," one of them answered as she swam closer. "Normally, we would ask you to prove yourself with one of our warriors, but the Great Squid has spoken on your behalf."

"Aw, I wouldn't mind a little scrap actually."

"Perhaps another time," the mermaid replied with a laugh. "One of our elders is what you surfacers would call a seer. We are to pass on a message to you."

"Cool, alright."

"Your great enemy is closer than you think, and a trap is close to being set," the mermaid said. "Beware, Harry Potter."

"Alright," he sighed. "I guess once I get past this trap, I can come back here and then I can fight one of your warrior dudes."

"We would appreciate the visit," she giggled. "Especially if you wear something even smaller next time."

"I don't know. My honeys were telling me I should get a speedo, but I think I'll have to bring them with me if I do that."

"Your mates would be welcome to join us as well."

"Cool."

Fleur was getting stressed out. She had Gabrielle free, but she didn't want to leave Harry (or Parvati) alone. "We should go, 'Arry."

"Right, yeah." He swam over and freed Parvati with a cutting charm. "It's been a pleasure."

"Until we meet again," the mermaids sang as a chorus while the champions left with their hostages.

"Aah!"

If Parvati had thought being rescued by Harry would be fun, she was now very much regretting that decision. The lake was absolutely fucking freezing. Only having to swim a dozen or so feet was still a chore and her soaked uniform and robes were somehow even colder than just the water itself.

Fleur was nearby, helping a miniature version of herself out of the water. That must have been the little sister she'd mentioned.

But thankfully, Harry was pulling her out of the water then and wrapping his arms around her.

"Hey, babe." he smiled.

"I should have let... Padma do this," she stammered out, her teeth chattering.

Madam Pomfrey came over and threw a large towel over them before handing her a Pepperup Potion. It helped a lot, but Parvati still wanted to get changed as soon as possible.

Harry seemed to be thinking something similar when he whispered into her ear. "I bet a trip to the prefects' bath sounds pretty good right now, huh?"

"You just want to get me out of these wet clothes," she giggled.

"And warm us both up too," he teased.

"Fine," Parvati sighed. The things she put up with.

Padma came over to check on them, but she stood back far enough so as to not get wet. "Are you two alright?"

"Yeah, it was a piece of cake," Harry shrugged. "Remind me to tell you about it later. I got to meet the giant squid."

"Umm..."

"Harry wants us to go warm up," Parvati giggled. "Do you want to come with us?"

"No, you two have fun," Padma chuckled.

"Alright, then we'll see you later," Harry winked as he picked up her sister and hoisted her over his shoulder.

"Put me down!"

Luna could still hear Parvati laughing as they headed off. "That looks like fun. Has Harry ever thrown you over his shoulder like that?"

Padma snorted. "No, but I'm sure he'll try it one of these days."

"He didn't even stay to see what his scores were," Hermione grumbled.

"I'm sure he'll be having so much fun that he won't care," Padma replied.

"Lucky," Luna pouted.

"Do you mean Harry? Or my sister?" Padma asked.

Luna frowned and titled her head. "Why not both?"

Fleur walked up a moment later. "Padma, I believe I 'ave underestimated 'Arry."

"What do you mean?"

"I did not truly understand ze... madness zat surrounds 'im," Fleur sighed. "Did you know zat zere is a giant squid in ze lake?"

"Yes."

"And zat it can talk?"

Padma stopped and blinked. "Talk?"

"It spoke English."

"Ooh! What did it say?" Luna asked with a huge smile.

"It asked for 'elp in contacting someone named Lovegood," Fleur replied.

"That's me!" Luna clapped her hands. "I wonder if he'll let me do an interview."

"Ah, well ze squid wanted your 'elp in somehow finding a new..." Fleur trailed off and tried to think of the correct word. "Mate?"

"That sounds fun," Luna nodded. "Male or female? Or does that even matter?"

"It specified a lady."

"That shouldn't be any problem. I'll have to write to daddy though; he wouldn't let me bring the family grimoire to school."

"Do I want to know?" Padma asked.

"How much do you know about pseudonatural creatures from beyond the dimensions us puny mortals cannot experience without going mad?"

Hermione fainted.

"Is she going to be alright?" Luna asked.

Padma sighed. "I think between Harry and you, she's going to have a nervous breakdown."

"That's a shame," Luna said as she leaned over and checked Hermione's pulse. "She probably needs to get laid. It would help with the stress."

"That's what Harry said," Padma laughed.
