Dearest friend, you've left me here. Waiting, hoping, wondering with fear.

You left not long, when master died.

Chaos took over, I must run.I must hide.

With all of my courage I stayed here instead,

Being made to obey someone I wish had been dead.

As I look back now I thought I was tough,

I was strong and brave.but not nearly enough.

When I was a child I said all my prayers,

No one had listened, I knew nobody cares.

By the time I was twelve, my parents were dead.

The plague had taken many, it screwed with my head.

The bandits had taken me, as if they had known,

I had no one left for me, I had no place to call home.

All would be fine, I had finally belonged,

I could have been leader.then you came along.

It's hard for me to say this, I was in a rut,

But honest to god..I had hated your guts.

As time went on I was forced to adjust,

I thought for a while, our pairing was a bust.

Honest to god, you were soon like a brother,

Remember what we did? We did everything with each other.

Then it had happened.my attributes were few,

It was destiny that I could never stand up to you.

When ReiRei had died I could not have been so far,

I was not in her heart, all I have to show is my scar.

I could see it in Hakurou.you'd be greater then I,

That symbol on your arm..that star in the sky.

I felt like I was only a convenience.Nothing at all.

You have had a cause, I had nothing at all.

You left to save our leader, I knew he was a goner,

I was left with my thoughts.he couldn't last too much longer.

When you returned like you promised, I was filled with relief.

Since the day you left I worried.I went so long without sleep.

It was a short reunion, no? Only a day did we smile,

But the priestess had come.and you'd be gone for a while.

Once again I waited, making sure the bandits were swell.

Buddy, oh buddy.they annoyed me like hell!

When your powers were gone.and suzaku had failed,

I was so relieved you were still alive.but again you had bailed!

God damn Kutou.they started a war.

I'm not gonna stand here.what good would I be for?!

When Suzaku was summoned, your job had been done.

I couldn't help but be jealous, I knew you had fun.

I knew it was self fish, that I wanted you to stay,

I knew you missed them, so you have to go back, ok?

I understand what you need, and I know that you're still my friend.

I'll stand by your decision, every day until I'm dead.

I know I don't want it.but you happiness resides..so go.

I'll be here when you get back, I'll be waiting here so..
