"Alright, are you in position?" Skara said.
"Yeah."
"Good, the one you're in front of is in a position that the others can't see him in. Get him now!"
Luz climbed out of the vent and snuck up behind him. She slit his throat while covering his mouth. She grabbed the body and moved it into the vent so it wouldn't be seen.
"I got one."
"Good. Now, just because they can see you, doesn't mean you can't see them. You can probably take out a few with their own sniper gun and now one would suspect anything." Skara said to her.
"Gladly, been a while since I handled a sniper rifle." Luz said as she picked up the sniper rifle, inspecting it.
This was a high class sniper rifle, one of the best in the market. Luz was definitely going to keep it. She reached into the vent and pulled the silencer from the body.
"Let's see how rusty I am."
Luz moved onto her stomach and put the rifle into position, looking through the scope to see at least 2 other snipers in her sights. They were laying on their stomachs like Luz and ready to fire at anyone or at Boscha's mother, Elizabeth.
'Alright, two in my sights and three still hidden. One bullet for each and they're down without anyone knowing.' Luz thought.
"The others are out of sight of the one far left. This is your chance." Skara said.
"And I'm about to take it." Luz said as she aimed and breathes calmly.
5 targets, 5 shots. That's all Luz needed to know before she pulled the trigger. Two were shot through the forehead, one was shot through neck, and the last two were shot through their ears.
"How convenient that they used snipers that carry exactly five bullets." Luz said.
Luz moved to get Boscha's mom. She shook her lightly to wake her up.
"Ma'am, are you okay?"
She looked up at Luz.
"Who are you?"
"I'm... I'm here to help." Luz said.
Luz felt a pistol touch the back of her head.
"I doubt that." The person behind her said, "I thought the boss said you were tough."
Luz used her knowledge of guns to figure out what pistol he had. She figured it out pretty quickly. She grabbed his arm and twisted it. She delivered a hard elbow to his head. He was knocked back, and Luz walked up to him.
"Next time you try and intimidate me... don't use a pellet gun." Luz said, pulling out her revolver, "Now this is a gun."
Luz quickly pointed it at his leg and fired, sending to large bullets into his upper thigh. Sending him to the ground with ease.
"It's very unique, you know. Two vertical barrels, two chambers the rotate opposite of each other, twelve bullets in total, each around two inches long and 16 millimeters thick. I get six shots, two bullets each shot. Banned in almost 150 countries. So be glad that I only shot you in the leg. If I shot your head, it would've been shot clean off your neck." Luz grabbed him by the neck, "I'm not going to kill you, I want you to tell this 'Commander' that he doesn't know who he's messing with."
Luz delivered a hard punch, which knocked him out. This entire time... she was still pulling her punches, just not as much as before. Luz went over Boscha's mom and untied her.
"Don't worry ma'am, you'll be okay." Luz said.
Luz picked her up and brought her out of the place. Later, at the hospital, she woke up and looked around. She saw Boscha, standing in the doorway. Boscha walked over and immediately hugged her.
"Please don't leave again, mom." Boscha said.
Elizabeth smiled. That was the first time she was called mom by Boscha in a while.
"I won't, I promise." She said.
"Mom, I... I want to give you and dad a second chance." Boscha said, "This whole thing made me realize that just because I was angry at you, doesn't mean I want something to happen to you."
"I... I would like that." She said.
"How did you even get out of there?" Boscha asked.
Elizabeth looked out the window and smiled.
"I had a little help."
Boscha looked out the window and saw Mr. Hardcore on the adjacent building. He gave a two finger salute before jumping off the building and grappling away.
'H-He saved mom.' Boscha thought, slowly smiling at the new vigilante.
"Now, tell me about your job." Elizabeth said, "It's been a while since we talked."
"Well, I co-own the Café-"
"No, not that one. Your night Job."
Boscha looked at her mother in surprise before Elizabeth chuckled at her.
"You didn't think I wouldn't recognize my own daughter's gymnastic moves? I was at every one of your competitions." She said to her daughter.
"….Shit." Boscha said with a groan.
Elizabeth chuckled.
"I'm proud of you, Honey."
"Y-y-you are?"
"You've grown up to become a wonderful young lady. You're strong and willing to help others. How wouldn't I be proud of you?" Elizabeth asked.
Later, Boscha walked into the Penthouse.
"Boscha, are you okay?" Amity asked.
"I've never been better." Boscha said, "And I have Mr. Hardcore to thank."
"How do-?" Amity asked.
"He saved my mom. I don't know how he pulled it off so fast but he saved her before I could even begin searching." Boscha said with a smile. "It just shows how much of a pro he is."
Amity thought about it for a second, she had problems with him, but after saving, and reuniting, her friend's family, could there actually be something under that cold exterior?
"You wanted to see some humanity in him, well there you go." Boscha said.
"I'll... consider working with him." Amity said, "I need to see what else he does."
In the bunker under the cabin, a man walked up to the person that he left in charge.
"So, an entire army, all meant for guarding one person... and you failed?" He said.
"Boss, you don't understand, he was... he was like nothing-"
He felt a hand grab his neck and lifted him up so his feet were dangling off the ground.
"I had higher hopes for you." He pressed his thumb against his windpipe, crushing his throat with ease, "Shame. But, I have bigger plans and you don't fit in them."
He dropped the corpse and walking off, already planning his next move.
'This Mr. Hardcore is quickly becoming a thorn in my side, more than those two others combined, in just a matter of days.' The man thought, 'Tomorrow night, he won't be a problem anymore.'
