A short fic I wrote about Meilin.I really feel so sorry for her! *tears* R+R
Of all the things I believe in I just want to get it over with
"Syaoran-kun!" Sakura giggled as he poked her again in her stomach, lightly though, just enough to make her smile.
"Nani?" he asked with an innocent smile on his face.
She giggled again and he lovingly slipped his arm around her waist. She snuggled closer to him.
I silently watched Syaoran and Sakura walk together into his apartment. I had just arrived back in Japan, but I hadn't told Syaoran yet. I didn't know if he could sense me or anything, but by the way that he was acting with Sakura, I figured that he probably couldn't.
Tears from behind my eyes But I do not cry Counting the days that past me by
I sighed deeply and crossed the street and headed back towards my hotel. I had missed him.but I knew that he loved Sakura and that we would never be together. I didn't despise Sakura or Syaoran, but I was so lonely.
I've been searching deep down in my soul Words that I'm hearing are starting to get old Looks like I'm starting all over again
The last three years were just pretend
I wondered if anything had ever been right between Syaoran and me, When we had first found out about the engagement, I remember that I had been so happy. Syaoran though, had silently receded to his room. I didn't think anything of it at first, but now I see that he had never thought anything more of me than a cousin, at most, a close friend.

I stared at all of the pictures that I had of him, all of the ones where we were together. Mostly he was looking stern, sad. I remembered how he had been after his father's death.

How I had comforted him, told him that it would be alright, that life would go on, that he had to live, for his mother, for his sisters, for his father, for me. He got through it all, with or without my help I don't know, but he lost himself in his training too.

I closed my eyes. Syaoran.I knew that he would only be happy with Sakura.but what about me? I missed him too.
