Memories from Years Past

Chapter One

WeasleyLover2

~Here's the sequel to 'Thousand Miles'; which was the sequel to 'Blurry'. So now this has become a trilogy. Ready to read? Good. But first I need to explain a few things, but not all of them, because that would just ruin it. First of all it's the gang's seventh year at Hogwarts. The Wizard Wars had taken place during their sixth year and the summer after. All the students fifth year and above were reluctantly sent to war. Many died, and many disappeared without a trace. The war had ended with the disappearance of Voldemort. Malfoy had somehow survived the whole ordeal. And the rest will be revealed during the story. *****'s mean it's a flashback. So, without further ado..memories from years past~

The cool breeze lifted the dark messy bangs off of his forehead, revealing a lightning bolt scar. He was walking around on a very dull Saturday morning. The sky was cloudy and dark; warning everyone that it was going to storm; and storm bad. But the boy in question didn't care. He continued to walk aimlessly around the grounds. His thoughts on only one thing: Lavender.

He came upon the lake, stood upon the sandy shore and looked out across its glossy waters.

***** It was a boring, lazy Sunday. The couple was sitting on the front steps to their beloved school, talking and laughing, kissing and holding hands. "We've been bums all day Harry. We need to do something," the girl had told her boyfriend. "But I like being lazy," he protested. She laughed and stood up. "Where are you going?" he asked her, not wanting her to leave. "I dunno.somewhere," she grinned mischievously at him. "No, stay here," he told her. She thought for a moment then started to run. "If you want me back you've gotta catch me first!" she laughed and continued to run. The abandoned boyfriend sighed; but got up to chase after his girlfriend. He was soon on her tail. They were now by the edge of the lake, where the grass smoothly turned into sand. The girl started to run along the beach, Harry hot on her tail. He tackled her to the ground. Both started laughing, which quickly turned into more kisses. "I'll love you forever Harry," she whispered to him. *****

Harry shook the memory from his head. But it refused to leave. He could still feel her lips on his, kissing him senseless. The way her hair felt in his hands, the way she smelled, the way she whispered in his ear; giving him chills up his spine.

A single tear escaped from his eyes. He sank to the ground; sitting on the sand he felt a drop of rain on his nose. He looked up and saw that the sky was done giving it's warning and was going to rain. Soon he was soaked to the bone, the hard, cold, wet rain stinging his skin. He stood up, stared at the sky, and started to cry with the heavens.

~This will start to make more and more sense as the story continues. Hope you liked it! Don't forget to review!~
