The other Senshi have already died. Now it's my turn. I'm walking away from her, the Princess. I will protect her.

"Rei!" she says. I stop.
*~Everyone always knew

"Rei." she repeats, "Don't go! The other Senshi are already dead! I don't want you to die too! Don't do this!"
She's crying, I know it. Even though I'm not facing her, I can tell.

"I have to, Usagi." I reply simply, not turning to face her, "It's my duty." I lie. I can't tell her the truth.
I start walking again, to face the battle before me. The battle begins...
... ... ... I'm losing, I know it! She's watching, I told her that her battle was still ahead... I told her not to interfere and she won't. My left arm's broken, I can't see from my left eye for the blood that fills it. I stand up, shakily, on weak legs and prepare for the next attack. I'm not sure I can win but, I will do this... I must! For her!

I won't hold back

That is my task

I raise my right hand, my palm open towards the youma... ready to finish this fight.
*~I will do anything for her
I'll lay down my life

"Fire Soul!" I shout. And, The fire erupts from my hand... one that seems more powerful than it usually is. The youma is vaporized...

I fall to the ground, my energy spent. I know it's over, I know I'm finished. I've served my purpose.

Afterall, This was what I was born to do... ... right? To die... So that she can live. So she can be with him, so they can build the future together. Her happiness is what is important. My eyes close as I feel the last breath leave me. If she needs me again, I will come. But, As long as she's happy... I can rest in peace...
