An Unexpected Visitor
There was an old woman who lived all by herself, and she was very lonely. Her name is Rayani, and she was at least 20,000 years old. Her husband died saving her from the Galaxy Police, who got out of hand a couple of years ago. Rayani has been unhappy since the day he died, and never smiled again. She ran away and lived on her spaceship when had everything there is in a house.
One day, Rayani was sitting in the kitchen, and she said aloud, "Oh, I wish I had some company."
No sooner had she spoken than, down the chimney tumbled two feet from which the flesh had rotted. Rayani's eyes bulged with terror. Then two legs dropped to the hearth and attached themselves to the feet.
Then a body tumbled down, then two arms, and the man's head. A green robe and a pair of glasses came down to give the stranger some clothes.
As the old women watched, the parts came together into a great gangling man. The man danced around until he started to float upwards. Then he stopped and looked at Rayani's green eyes.
"What did you come for?" she asked in a small voice that shivered and shook. Then her memory came back, and somehow she knew this man.
"What did I come for? I come-for you. My dear Rayani." The man said putting on the green robe and adjusting his glasses.
"Kagato? Kagato! You're alive. Magaru was wrong. You do have a body." Rayani said, smiling.
