Elisa's Emotions on her Flying Friends

Here I stand,
On the highest tower of Castle Wyvern
Waiting for my friends to wake up.

It's near sundown,
And tonight's my night off.
I'm taking this night
To spend time with my winged friends.

As I wait for them to wake,
I think about the last three years.
When I first met the Gargoyles,
They had just awoke
From a 1000 year sleep to a new world.
And I became their first friend.

Over the three years,
We fought together,
Worked together,
And came near death together
On many occasions.

As time went by,
I eventually started to have feelings
For one of the Gargoyles.
Feelings that you express to a love one.
But I'm a human and he's a Gargoyle.

So now I got to figure out if,
I should try to pursue a relationship with him
Or wait for a human male.
But I don't even know if I can do either one
Because I love Goliath very much.

I had admitted my love for Goliath
Since the morning I kissed him,
When him and his clan were back living at the castle
But the question is does he love me?
I think he does but I can't be sure.
But soon Goliath and the others will wake,
And my thoughts will be disturbed.

But before my that happens,
When the Gargoyles awoke,
Humans no longer believed in Gargoyles,
But after three years.
And being hunted down in the last year,
The Gargoyles are finally part of human society once again.
