Silver Legacy

An original Sailormoon fanfiction by Prince Nebula (Tuxedo Starr)

Disclaimer: I don't own Sailor Moon. Big surprise, ne?

This is my second fic online! Course, it's more like my fiftieth that I've written . . . So, sit back, relax, and enjoy . . .

_Premonition_

_As the universe crumbles away beneath her feet, shrieks of pain echoing in the air, the Guardian shudders, tears slipping down her marble cheeks and silver hair blowing in a wind that's not really there . . ._

The blue-haired girl stirred in her sleep. Her brow twitched slightly.

_Another sound pierces the glittering shards of the crumbling universe. The Guardian looks up hopefully towards the sound. A silvery sound full of peace and hope . . ._

The brunette smiled slightly in her sleep. Such a beautiful voice, familiar, warm . . .

_A silver glow pierces the darkness as the Guardian watches expectantly. Fifteen points of rainbow light begin to converge in the center of the glittering vortex._

A relieved sigh as the raven-haired girl turned on her cot. The branches outside her window rattled in the gathering breeze.

_And an explosion as a burst of darkness deflects the silver light. The Guardian screams in pain, and the colors shatter like a pane of glass . . ._

"No . . ." the blonde-haired girl moaned in her sleep. Her fists clutched the bed sheets with white knuckles, a fine sweat beaded on her forehead. "Not that . . . please . . ."

_Screams. Blood. And silence permeates everything . . ._

And the golden-haired girl bolted upright in her bed wide awake, a soft silver glow emitting from her forehead, sapphire eyes wide. A gentle breeze blew through the open window, scattering some papers to the floor, ruffling the lacy white curtains as though they were ghosts. She noticed none of this. The girl panted as sweat clung to her skin, the name of one person uppermost in her mind.

"Mother . . ."

Very short prologue, I know. But I like it like this, short and sweet! ^^

Review, minna! Email me! Constructive criticisms and invitations to parties welcome! :D Please don't flame me, I am somewhat sensitive when it comes to my work and may have to send my dragons after you. They could always use some more flames . . . : )

Ja for now! I don't know when I'm going to update this, seeing as school will start soon. But we'll see . . .
