Endymion - first meeting
It was a silent but beautiful night when i first met the princess Serenity, my one only true love. But I'm getting a little ahead of my self here, you all want to know how i met her right... well my father a king of earth, had prevailed on me to be a diplomat of sorts to the moon kingdom and thus to Queen Serenity, my loves mother.
Now where was i oh yes, a diplomat for my father, however i did not meet the princess on my first visit to the moon kingdom, but i heard about her, that's for sure now don't take that the wrong way, all that I heard about my love Princess Serenity who was sometimes called Serena, was good things like for example how beautiful she was.
It was not until my third visit to the moon kingdom that i actually met Serenity (now for the sake of not wanting anyone to get mixed Serenity mixed up with her mother, i will call her Serena from now on), now as I've already stated above it was a silent yet beautiful night, i was walking in one of the many gardens of the palace, just admiring the palace in general, (of course i was being watched closely as the guards did not fully trust people from the earth) when i saw a figure standing on one of the balconies overlooking the gardens, i could not see her face but despite that something inside me told me i should go meet her.
I quickly made my way over to the balcony where she was, careful not to take my eyes off her, for i felt certain that the moment i did that she would vanish and i would never see her again, yes i know that sounds stupid but that how i felt. In any event she did not notice me as i approached her, i had to tap her on the shoulder to get her attention so engrossed in watching the stars on this most perfect of nights she was.
As she turned around to face me i swear by all that i hold dear that i hear somewhere off in the distance a tiny bell ringing, I tried to be calm as i looked into her eyes and introduced myself.
Now you really don't want any more sappy details after that do you? yes well just beware that you asked for it!. Now where was i, oh yes i introduced myself and she did the same, well after she regained her senses long enough to stop staring into my eyes, not that that was a bad thing mind you.
Now since this is a recount of my first meeting with my love, I'll spare you the details of what happened after that, but i will say that the rest of that evening consisted entirely of both of us doing the usual eye gazing and so on. So there you have it the recount of the first meeting between my love and myself, if you want details of what happened after how first encounter you'll just have to wait for another time.
