a sad little fic that I've been working on for sometime now *warning you now* I write slowly and this might be it for a while before a new chapter is up. summary-> There's been a death in the family...AU Aki Kumori is the cook.
Yukito-ojisan has died today, Sakura-obasan and Touya-ojisan cry in anguish, not to be consoled. Shaoran-ojisan too, when he heard the tragic news, but he has stopped now. He has put on his strong face, strong, for Sakura-obasan, but I still see the deep sadness in his eyes.
Everyone has come to our big house, Fujitaka-ojiisan and Sonomi-obaasan, Kaho-obasan, Nakaru-obasan and Meilin-obasan. Naoko-obasan, Chiharu-obasan and Takishi-ojisan, Rika-obasan and Yoshiyuki-ojisan (or should I put Terada-sensei?) and still it's so quiet I can hear Aki-san in the kitchen.
This is strange; Otousan and Nakaru-obasan came up the stairs just now, and went into the guest bedroom next to mine. The door (the sliding kind) was left open a few inches and I was going to follow them in, but Otousan said "Nakaru, what is it?", he was sitting on the sofa facing Obasan, who was standing by the window looking out. "I can tell that something else is troubling you." She looked to him then, her eyes, red and puffy, began again to fill with tears. She opened her mouth as if to say something and closed it again. The tears spilled down her cheeks then and she went forward, down to her knees, in front of her 'otouto' and she whispered "Yue."
Sometimes, to me, my Otousan seems... old. He put his hand one his 'Oneesan's' head and said in a small voice "I don't know..."
I left then because I thought when he looked up he would see me and I didn't want Otousan mad that I was eavesdropping.
