Remember that we need male characters too and older and younger students. Your character might not be picked and if he/she is there may not have a big part. And remember that not everyone can date Draco, Harry, Ginny, Hermione, and other main characters.

Story beginning..
The sky was dark as the students stepped off the train. Silence surrounded them and something was in the air. No one could place what it was but no one wanted to.
It was a feeling of remorse, grief, anguish, and any other bad feeling imaginable. Voldemort had made his presence known that summer with a string of murders. The Weasleys had been attacked along with various other families. Harry had just managed to keep out of harm's way. Sirius Black's name had been cleared and Harry went into hiding with him.
Harry, Ron, and Hermione spotted Draco and his new group of friends leaning casually against the train. They seemed to have had a good summer. Glares were directed toward the group of Slytherins and they were returned rather lazily.
As they entered the castle even Peeves seemed down. He had no prank waiting for them this year.
Everyone sat and watched the sorting with mild interest. There were rumors of American children coming this year as something had happened to their school during the summer..
