The End is calling-
And I'm sifting through the ashes,
Searching for it-

Towards the fire in the distance,
The red-glowing sky

And my heart breaks

Of my companions behind me-
For they knew not
Where this hopeless quest
Was doomed to end

I knew the Fire,
And the Shadow,

It would break them, too
I hear their ragged breathing,
Leagues away
Under shadow, torment, death

Always there-
My life, my strength, my shelter
In this dark land
Where darkness pierces all
And day serves no purpose
But to taunt us,
To fill our poisoned eyes
With a vision we know we'll never reach

Knowing what you will see here,

Years from now-

And the waves will rise between us:
Ocean's fury never-ceasing

Torment in your eyes,
