Die for You

Ron walked into his apartment feeling even more badly then he had ever before in his life. He had just heard the news from Dumbledore, and he felt like he wanted to die. You see, Voldemort had died yesterday and the war was over, but it was at the cost of Harry's life. He died killing Voldemort.

Ron cried out in pain. He could take it any more. He wished he told Harry while he was alive.

Loving you the way I do

And all this things that we 've been through

Made me sad, made me mad.

Finally then, we're apart,

There's only sorrow in my heart,

Hard to say I'm okay.

Ron thoughts ran through his mind at the speed of light, remembering his time with Harry. It only brought him more pain. The last time he saw Harry was in the heat of battle.

The Death Eaters had attacked London, and the Ministry army was there to fight them. Ron, Hermione, and Harry were all Ministry wizards, and fought the battle through. Ron almost took the Avada Kedavera for Harry. The Ministry did win at the cost of 6000 Aurors. The three had been split up around the world fighting the war.

'Cause I would die for you,

Look into my eyes and see it's true,

Really I could never lie to you

Just to make you see that no one else

Could ever love you like the way I do

Ron also remembered the fights they had back at Hogwarts. The pain was rising.

Die for you,

Look into my eyes and see it's true,

Really I could never lie to you

Just to make you see that no one else

Could ever love you like the way I do

Now Harry was dead. He would never know how Ron felt now. He would never see those emerald eyes again, or the beautiful pale skin. Never again.

Now that you are here no more

The nights are longer than before

Hard to say I'm okay.

'Cause I would die for you,

Look into my eyes and see it's true,

Really I could never lie to you

Just to make you see that no one else

Could ever love you like the way I do

Ron wished he could go back and take Harry's death for him. He wished he could save his emerald angle, but there was no hope. Ron's eyes burned in pain, his tears now forming a pool on the floor. He felt worse then he had ever had before. It felt like white-hot knives were driving into his chest. It was worse then the several times he hear Harry's screams at night out of nightmares.

Oh how he wished he could go back.

Die for you,

Look into my eyes and see it's true,

Really I could never lie to you

Just to make you see that no one else

Could ever love you like the way I do

'Cause I would die for you

How he wished he could go back and save him.
