Gordo taught me how to make web pages. Right when I found out how to make them, I didn't know what to write about. Then I got an idea. I'd make a website that tells people my email address, and they'd email me their problems. I'd put their problems up on my page and I'd answer them. I wanted to call my website www.dearlizzie.com but my mom said I could never tell anyone on the internet my first or last name. So I decided to call my page www.dearkatie.com. So now people would think my name is Katie. The next day I got a lot of emails from people who needed advice.

The first message said: Dear Katie, My feet hurt really bad! Help! I need to know how to heal them!!!!!!!!!!! Sincerely Ellen

I wrote back: Dear Ellen,

Put some kind of lotion on your feet. Sincerely Katie

I must say that my first message was pretty odd. But then the next message I got seemed very familiar.

Dear Katie, I am very popular. I used to have a friend who is now a geek. I wanna be her friend again. But how do I tell her that?

Sincerely Jennifer

I wrote back: Dear Jennifer, Just tell the person that you wanna be their friend. It's that easy. Sincerely Katie

The next day at school, I was walking in the hallway and Kate walked up to me. I expected her to call me a loser. But she said "I wanna be your friend again." "Oh my gosh," I said. "You're Jennifer!" "And you're Katie?" asked Jennifer I mean Kate. I nodded. Kate walked away. I could tell that she was really embarresed. I decided to close down my site. But I always knew that Kate wanted to be my friend.
