Rhyming Poetry ((aka Lex Rhymes With.))

Chloe sat on the edge of the fountain, pen and paper in hand. Random scribbles dotted the lines while she sat in deep thought concentrating on her next move. Just then Lex wandered into the area on a mission to avoid everyone in the mall. Unfortunately, he almost ran right over Chloe not noticing her sitting silently. He looked around for any other annoyances and decided this was the quietest spot in the mall. He might even be in for some entertainment with Chloe around. "So what you doing?" he asked her quickly, to get any and all conversation out of the way now. Chloe, hardly disturbed by Lex shrugged him off briefly and smiled, stating enthusiastically, "Writing poetry." "Poetry?" Lex mumbled, "Don't you kids have something better to do then to write poetry?" Chloe shook her head, "No, this is a special poem. It's important." "What can be important about a poem.?" Lex sighed impatiently and sat down a few feet away from Chloe. "It's a gift. I'm writing a poem about our tribe and I'm gonna give it to Bray later for being a great leader." Lex rolled his eyes, shaking his head and tried not to laugh at her comments. "So," Chloe continued, "it's got everyone's name in it. Like Jack. I wrote 'I have a friend his name is Jack. Chocolate is his favorite snack.'" Lex looked around the mall area, getting bored out of his mind till he thought of an idea, "Did you do me yet?" Chloe shook her head, "What?" "Did you put me in the poem yet?" Lex smiled smugly. "No," Chloe whispered, "I don't know what rhymes with Lex." As Chloe was uttering those very words Amber walked in, "Oh hi Chloe. And Lex," she never even looked at Lex but continued talking, "Still working on that poem of yours?" Chloe nodded eagerly, "Yeah. Amber? I have a question. What rhymes with Lex?" Lex started to laugh lightly and Amber shot him a hard look. "Lex? What rhymes with Lex?" Amber thought for a second, "Well, Lex rhymes with. Lex rhymes with Tex. Yes! Lex rhymes with Tex. He likes Mexican food." Chloe smiled, "Thanks Amber." Lex burst out laughing and stood up, passing Amber on his way out, "Lex rhymes with Tex? Yeah, just keep telling her that Amber."
