Emerald eyes.
I don't own Harry Potter. Duh.
Ginny, while walking down the charms corridor, immediatly picked out Harry from the crowd.
It was a bad habit she had, really. Whenever she was near Harry, she could pick him out, with almost no problems. It was as if she had some sort of Harry radar.
Strange.
She shook her head, then her eyes widened as she saw who he was with. Hermione.
She sighed. At the end of their fifth year and her fourth year, they had 'gotten together.' It pained her to see them like that.
However, today they seemed distant, far-apart. Hermione was wearing a hurt, almost crying look, and the look on Harry's face strongly reminded Ginny of a dark thunderstorm.
She felt Harry's emerald eyes fall on her, then light up. "Ginny!" He exclaimed, then hurried over to her, leaving Hermione looking like she was going to cry. "Ginny, would you like to go take a walk?"
Ginny felt her insides swell with happiness. "Uh, sure!" She said, her face turning a deep maroon, contrasting with her hair.
Harry gave her a stunning smile, making her knees go weak. "We have all the time we want, it's Christmas Eve!, would you like to go now?" He asked.
Ginny blushed deeper, then nodded, not really trusting her voice. HE TALKED TO HER! HARRY POTTER! HARRY POTTER TALKED TO GINNY WEASELY!!!!!!!!!
Harry gave her another smile, then they walked out to the grounds.
Walking across the grounds, Ginny noticed Harry scuffing his feet and giving her nervous, apprehensive looks. "Uh, Ginny?" He started carefully.
Ginny looked into his emerald eyes, trying to read the emotions in his eyes. "Yes?" She responded.
Harry gave her a quick smile. "Uh, I know it's sorta a late date, but will you go with me to the Christmas ball?"
Ginny blushed maroon, feeling herself melt. "Uh, aren't you going with Hermione?" She asked, then mentally kicked herself.
Harry frowned. "Yeah, I was, but I don't want to anymore." He said, then hopefully looked at her. "Will you go with me?" He asked.
Ginny nodded enthusiastically. "YEah!" She said, grinning like an idiot. "Yes!"
Harry gave her another stunning smile, then leaned over and gave her a light kiss on the lips.
There was a rustle from the bushed, then nothing. But as Ginny looked, she thought, just thought, that she saw Hermione's brown eyes staring at them.
OOOHHH. What'd ya guys think of that, huh? HUH? I have another chapter to add to this, which explains Herm's side of the story. Tell me in your review if you want me to post it.
