Hey everyone. Here's a little short story that I wrote during classes. I got
the idea at 2 o' clock am. That's when I get most of my good ideas. This
takes place during the battle with Galaxia. It's the way I would see Uranus
and Neptune dying. Please, review for kami's sake! Arigatou. *bow*
Well Wishes...
~*~Henna-chan~*~
There the two girls lay. Their hands reached and caught each other as they
filled the floor with their own blood.
"I never thought it would end this way," Haruka sighed. "You deserve
better, Michiru, you really do!" A silent tear ran down Haruka's face.
Michiru leaned in and kissed the offending droplet, leaving a red mark of
her own blood on the tall girl's face. "Don't cry, love. We are dyeing doing
our duty. Soldiers die! You yourself have stated how honorable it is to die
for a cause!"
"But this is different! The world needs you!" yelled Haruka.
"The world is done with us! Do you wonder why Galaxia came when she
did? Why we fought for our lives? It's fate!"
"Fate's a bitch."
The two lay in silence for a few moments.
"Haruka?"
"Yeah, Mich?"
"Can I have one last kiss before we... we..."
"Of course." Haruka pulled herself closer to Michiru, wincing from the
pain the simple movement shot through her body. Michiru climbed on top
of the woman she loved, and their lips met. The coppery taste of blood
filled both mouths. In that possession, the two lovers died. Never again
would Michiru play a song to perfection on her violin, or Haruka win
another race. No new Kaioh paintings will emerge, and no more battles
fought by Uranus and Neptune. The two were eternally lost in love's last
kiss.
