To do our best - a Wakka / Tidus *Yaoi* fan fic.
This takes place after Wakka loses the tournament at Lucca, but before he says his goodbyes to the team.
Tidus decides to cheer Wakka up after the loss. ;-)

Tidus can see Wakka in the locker room. He looks sad, but he has cause to be.
His team has lost the final match in what is Wakka's last Blitzball tournament.
Blitzball was Wakka's escape from the harsh world he lived in. It was a way for
him and all the rest of Spira to forget about Sin and all the misery he
brought.
Tidus had a guilty feeling deep inside. He knew he shouldn't have promised
victory to Wakka and his team. After all, he wasn't in Zanarkand anymore.
He hoped his chants of "Victory!" didn't change the Aurochs love of the
game and their joy in doing their best.
He decided he had better go console Tidus.
"Hi-ya, how are you doing, big guy?"
"We really wanted to win, but I guess it was too much to ask from a
team that has never won, ya?"
"Oh, don't be so hard on yourself. You're *my* favorite blitzball star."
Tidus stradled one of Wakka's knees and held his face in his hand.
Such rugged beauty in his clear eyes thought Tidus. How could someone
with such delicate eyes devote himself to the distruction of Sin?
Tidus kissed Wakka's lips. Even his kiss was delicate, and his lips
were wonderfully sweet.
The sound of players in the hall became became audible and quickly louder.
Tidus and Wakka stood up to avoid having the team find them in such a position.
The door burst open and the Aurochs flooded in.
Tidus knew that when Wakka became a full time guardian they's have more time
alone. They wouldn't have to worry about being found out.
"You know that this was my last game..."
*more chapters later, I hope.*
