REBORN

TAP, TAP, TAP .The sudden sounds of footsteps had made me jump onto my feet. The sounds of footsteps fades at my cell. I heard the jingling sound if keys and my door was unlocked. The man pushes open the door and I saw my first light for days. Or weeks. I don't know. I've lost track of times. I studied the man carefully. Blinking profusely as I was blinded by the light. Looking at the uniform, I know he is a guard. "Xedrin Deus code number 1098?"he ask me in a gruff voice. "Yeah that's me, " I croaked as I haven't speak for a long time. "You know you will be release at 1600 sharp ?," he said while checking it with a list of names. "Yeah" So start packing. The plane won't wait for anyone, he said, turning his heels and walks away. Another guard lock my door and I'm surrounded by darkness again. After I'm outta here, I will have a fresh start, a new life. The past still haunt my dreams. It's painful to talk about the past. But ...

*FLASHBACK*

"The man is killing Padme!Do something Anakin !," I yelled at him. "What can I do Xed? She`s dead ,Xed !DEAD !,"he yelled back at me, crying. "It's his fault. He kill Padme," he said quietly, his teeth shaking with anger. He slumped down at Padme's body and lift her up. "Xed, kill that man. Kill him. For Padme," he challenged me. At least that is what I think it is .And I accept it. "Show your self if you are a man" I shouted at a hooded figure at a corner of the room standing there like a statue. "Sure," The man show itself. I was ready to kill that man the moment he turned back. Clutching my lightsaber, I was poised to strike. The man turned back and lowered his hood. He smiled maliciously, seeing the expression on my face .No, this just couldn't be true. I was falling into a dark hole and landed on a hard surface. Still half asleep I focused hazily on my surroundings. Standing up, I took a deep breath and made my way to the bathroom. What a weird dream. Or.

*END OF FLASHBACK*

At last, I`m out of this door. 10 years is a very long time and sometimes I regret things that I`ve done that had put me in this place and situation. I was handcuffed by a guard. As I walk through the corridor the desperate, pleading face of other prisoners made me realize how the world or perhaps the galaxy had changed. When I arrived here, most of the cells were empty and almost all of the prisoners had made serious crimes. Now, half the cells are full with young, mans. Some of them- I'm surprised to see - are those who were training with me at the academy. I was not aware of the other surprises that awaits me.
