The Foretelling of Space Sorrow
The lush hills of long ago lay silent, shrouded in the darkness of the forgotten. These had been the very mounds where the prideful warriors once stood, looking over their friends before saying good-bye for what they thought would be forever. Now all that remained of those celebrated days were the broken shards of the mobile suits that
had surpassed even the expectations of their creators.
Among the swaying grass, illuminated by the silver moonlight, a shadowy figure stood, gazing up at the stars. A whisper of wind blew up from no where, making the visitor draw it's dark cloak closer to it's body. It stood there in silence, gazing at it's surroundings, remembering all that had been forgotten. "Something will happen." it finally broke the silence.
Knelling down, the figure picked up a blue piece of gudamium alloy and fingered it in thought before speaking once again, "You can feel it too." the hushed words came out neither as a question, nor as a statement, but purely as a thought. "It will come from above," the shadowy figure looked skyward, "and it will be called Space Sorrow."
