AN: My very first fan fic, ever! I'm going to have fun writing this. I hope you like it. If you think I should continue then please tell me in your review. Oh, and Links thoughts are in italics, just so you know. Thanks. (

Chapter 1.

"Ha!" shouted Link triumphantly as he delivered the finishing blow to a wild Wolfo with his blade. Wolfo's were wolf-like beasts who often roamed around Kokiri Forest, which was where Link was training.

It had been exactly two years since Ganon had been defeated and he was finally getting some time to relax and do whatever he wanted. He did miss adventuring around Hyrule though.

Link sat down in the soft green grass and slowly closed his eyes, remembering all the times he had. He had finally gotten to see Saria again, who he had not seen until after Ganon was killed. Link had missed her very much. They were best friends. She knew him when he was just a young boy, and when he first found a fairy, Navi.

"Link" a hoarse voice whispered in his mind. Link immediately jumped to his feet and looked around him to see if anyone was there. He sighed.

That voice sounded strangely familiar. No wait. it cannot be, no of course not. Stop thinking that, Link!

"Hmph" he mumbled as he put his sword back into it's sheath.

I'm going to go visit Saria! Hopefully she will be there.

Link ran as fast as he could to Saria's "hideout" in the Forest. There she was, sitting on a small tree stump, playing her ocarina. He walked up to her and waved.

"Oh hi, Link!" she smiled.

"Hi there, Saria" he grinned.

He sat down next to her in the grass and decided to tell her about the voice he heard. Link explained to her about the voice how it was quite familiar to him. . "Saria, I. think Ganon is back" he said almost in an angry tone.

Her head lowered, and she looked down at the ground.

"It hasn't been long at all., she said softly. Only two years, I wanted Hyrule to stay peaceful forever.

"So did I, Saria, not just me and you, but everyone does."

Link held his arms out and embraced her, he wasn't positive about Ganon and all, but he could almost swear it was him. something awful, to say the least.

She hugged him back and smiled weakly.

"Saria. he said. We must go warn the others."

AN: Read and review please. Should I continue this fic?
