Why I wrote this: I have no life, and well. cause I have nothing better to
do, and well. I wanted something besides Batman, and well. I had to put the
joke someplace. I know its bad.
Romeo and Juliet By: Thingkid
Kurt sniffed the air for no reason, he just felt like doing it at the moment. He heaved a sigh, and then sniffed again. It would be supper soon enough. he glanced behind him, down the long hall, and the back, swerving his head to look before him. He had really nothing more to do at the moment then stand and pretend he did. Homework was an option, but who wanted to work on homework on the weekend? So the boy stood, looking down at his bare feet for a moment and then ahead, to see if anything may have changed, but to his disappointment, it was all very much the same. "It's all boring." He muttered, his accent held a cheerful tint as he spoke with a rolling tongue. His mind wandered and he then pounced forward, using all fours to dash down the hall, but as he turned the corner he ran into Kitty, who let out a shriek, then tumbled to the ground with a unidentified noise. "Wha-wha?" Her brown eyes lifted as she shook her head and sat up. "Kurt? Like, what are you doing here?" She held him in her view with a critical look, almost demanding a reason for his being in the hall. "Kurt, like I said." She sighed, seeing his head cock in a manner that caused her to forget what she was saying. ".never mind." "Here Kitty, let me help you, I'm sorry." He pulled her up and grinned, then looked over his shoulder. "I thought that you were out for the night." "Me?" The girl questioned with a grin as she pushed her hand up to her chest. "No, like, I have nothing to do but sit around and study. why aren't you hanging around Scott?" The boy raised an eyebrow and shook his head. "Jean." A laugh came form Kitty's throat, and though Kurt didn't see what was funny, he allowed a smile to trace across his lips. "Kurt, like, you don't even need to tell me. are you jealous?" "Of Scott?" "No! Not of Scott, of Jean. I mean.like." His innocent eyes caught her off guard, and she shook her head. "Never mind Kurt, I will be in my room." She made her way down the hall and he watched her go, happy for the short conversation they had shared, and then without a second thought he pounced forward, wondering what would be best to do in the short time he had before dinner. "Maybe Logan knows.eh, something to do." He climbed on the stair railing and crawled down it, smiling as he saw Rouge walking by. "ROUGE!" The young girl stopped and jerked around. "Kurt? What da' ya' want?" She eyed him with a slight disgust and shook her head. What he wanted was someone to talk to, but considering the facts about, he simply shrugged and answered with an: "Uh, I need to be quizzed." "Quizzed?" The girl croaked as if it was a foreign word to her. "Hey, s'ok, over what?" He thought for a moment, and nothing came to mind. "Er. Romeo and Juliet." The way Juliet came out caused the girl to smile. "Kurt. ya' haven't read Romeo and Juliet." "Eh-eh. I would have." He paused, watched her turn away to leave. "But my I had to feed my goldfish.and er. well. the test is coming up.er.oh." "Kurt, ya' don't have a goldfish neither." "That's because I was trying to read and not feeding it, shh, you're bringing up bad memories." The with that he bounded away, smiling, glad that he had thought of something to do.
