Tiny Dancer

By: Silent Lullaby

I've been dancing here in circles,
Going round and round.
Looking for a friendly face,
where none are to be found.

The black bird follows,
I'll twirl as I go,
He's watching every movement,
Is he friend or foe?

I've been faltering at every step,
I make upon this stage.
My body aches with every move,
I make inside this cage.

Feathers float around me,
as I fall on to the floor,
I can not dance forever,
When living is a chore.

So as I try to please the crowd,
As I preform my task,
Just remember what you see.
It only just a mask.
