[Joey climbs up the ladder into Dawson's bedroom, to find him watching a complicated black and white movie, which teenagers would never be interested in (What happened to teenagers watching 'Road Trip', 'Scream', and 'She's All That'?)]

Joey: Hey Dawson.

Dawson: Oh, hey Joey Potter. I didn't see you there. You really must stop startling me like that, it's nauseating.

Joey: Um, sorry.

Dawson: Did you like the way I used complicated words just then? Did it make me sound intelligent?

Joey: Um. I guess.

[Joey climbs into his bedroom, and lies on the bed next to Dawson.]

Joey: So, what are you watching, Dawson?

Dawson: I have no idea, but it looks really complicated and intelligent, so I figured I should just watch it to make me look like a complicated and intelligent person. I found it among my complicated and intelligent movie collection, which was hidden under my special photo album.

Joey: Oh, the one that makes your forehead look normal?

Dawson: Yeah, that's the one. It doesn't have any pictures in it yet, because my forehead is enormous, but once I set up a photo-altering program on my computer, I should be able to change all my photos. If you have any photos of me anywhere, I'd appreciate it if you'd give them to me so I can change them. I don't want a single picture of me existing anywhere that makes my forehead look big.

Joey: Sure, I mean, I can understand that. If my forehead was as big as yours, I'd want to change all the photos of me too.

Dawson: Cool. Well thanks for understanding Joey Potter. I'm so glad we have such a meaningful adult relationship, that's really romantic, as if our whole lives are a movie or something.

Joey: Yeah, I've noticed that too. We're soul mates, but somehow we're never together. Dawson: Yeah, and you ran off with my best friend, but we're soul mates, through and through.

Joey: Right on.

Dawson: So, you wanna have a game of 'read out of the dictionary'? I was reading it last night, and I found some really complicated words in there, and I wrote down some really complicated sentences in my notebook that we can practice saying!

Joey: Dawson, we always have to play that game. Don't you wanna do something else for a change?

Dawson: But Joey Potter, I thought you loved that game? I'm getting so good at it!

Joey: But Dawson, you always win. It isn't fair. Can't we play something I'm good at for a change? Like 'completely betraying my so-called soul mate to his best friend'? Huh? Huh?

Will Joey Potter and Dawson play 'read out of the dictionary' or 'completely betraying my so-called soul mate to his best friend'??? Find out. soon.
