Disclaimer like thingy that I write cause I'm stupid: I own nothing GET
OFF MY BACK! Anyways, I have only read the first issue of "I feel sick" so
if this is off, bare with me please. I love Devi and all of the other
characters so don't flame me if this is off.
Notey thingy pissed off must rant note thing..: Listen, I know that not everyone likes Avril and that every one has their own opinion of her. My God I don't know whats wrong with everyone- once a girl punker becomes famous its like she's considered a poser. I chose this song because I liked the lyrics and because I thought it had some meaning. Think what you like about Avril but please don't judge my works by the singer of the lyrics I used. That goes for all of my song fics. (only 2 so far)
~*~ Tomarrow.. Again... ~*~
And I want to believe you When you tell me that it'll be ok. Yeah I try to believe you
Devi dropped to her knees with frustration. Things cant possibly get better. People always say they will, but they never do. Never. There is no such thing as better. Only worse. "It'll only get worse." She muttered to the floor.
.But I don't.
Suddenly the phone wrang. Always. The girl always called when Devi was about to lose it. She walked to the phone and picked it up reluctantly. "What?" She asked, knowing who it was already. "Are you ok?" Asked Tenna, Devi's friend.
When you say that its gonna be It always turns out to be a different way I try to believe you.
"Not today." Devi replied.
Not today, today, today, today, today.
"Hold on, I'll be right up!" Tenna offered and emmediatly hung up. Devi sighed and listened to the sound of her friend running up the steps. Shortly fallowing the footsteps, the door burst open revealing her friend tenna, standing in the doorway with a big bright smile. She held up spooky swiftly and sqeaked it, not saying a word. Devi raised an eyebrow, yet found the presence of her friend to be slightly more comforting then silence.
And I, I don't know how I feel Tomarrow, Tomarrow And I don't know what to say Tomarrow Tomarrow.
"So did you finish your painting?" Tenna asked, of course asking the wrong questions first. "Tomarrow." Devi sighed.
.Is another day.
"Listen, you need to get out more." Tenna grinned. Devi felt her stomache lurch. Outside? . No, not out there. The very thought made her sick. Of course, though, before she knew it she was being dragged out of her apartment and onto the filthy dirty streets below.
Its always been up to you Its turning around its up to me I'm gonna do what I have to do Just don't.
Later the two sat in a resteraunt, talking quietly. The conversation seemed to lack depth, Devi decided, as she sunk back into her seat. As Tenna began to ramble about nothing in particular, Devi's thoughts returned to her. life.
Gimme a little time Leave me alone a little while Maybe its not too late.
Life. What a sick word. So short. so piercing to the ear.. So. ugly. Devi turned her head to look out the window. The night sky seemed to settle in over everything, turning the world to darker shades and shadows. The realization hit her, that whenever she pictured the world in her mind, no matter what time of day, it was always night. It was always dark... and.. Terribly cold.
Not today, today, today, today, today .
