The Marauders

It was like almost any day James Potter woke up one sunny morning, very groggily for he had been up all night talking with Sirius and Remus about what they were going to do once they returned to Hogwarts where they will be in their 3rd year. Sirius, James and Remus had an important discussion about Remus being a werewolf, they didn't want him to go through all that alone. Sirius thought that Remus should bite him and James therefor, turning them both into werewolves. James didn't think that would work because that could go siriously wrong, Remus agreed. Remus did not want to put his friends through any kind of trouble. James shook his head and searched for his glasses. Once he found them he put them on and walked over towards his mirror and looked at his reflection. He could hear Sirius's loud snors, It was amazing he got anysleep at all that night. Jame tried to brush his hair, but the brush broke the second he tried to push it through his hair. "Uhg, stupid hair, it will never look nice!" His father told him that every Potter, male in his family has messy hair that can't be managed. Which was true, one time James's uncle Ed tried to cut his hair with a pair of muggle pruner's, it didn't work out so well. It ended up growing back the next day longer and messier than before. James, tried cutting his hair with a pair of scizer's but that didn't work well either. James sighed and stared at himself in the mirror. He had brown/green hazel eyes. They looked more brown than green. His hair was jet black and very untidy, especially now that he had half of a hair brush stuck in it. James grabbed the hairbrush and tried to pull it out, but it was stuck. James paniked, school would be starting in a few days, he wanted to look some what nice, imagine what Snape would say if he saw James with a hair brush stuck in his hair. He didn't really care what Snape would say, but he did care that Snape would have something against him. He hated it when the Slytherins looked so smug. "Err Remus! Could you give me a hand, I seemed to uh. have gotten a hair brush suck in my hair!" He heard aloud thump as Remus scrambled out of one the extra beds in James's room. "Not again James!" complain Remus. Remus was a thin ragged boy, with dark circles under his eyes, he always looked tired or worn out.his hair was light brown, and so was the color of his eyes. Remus walked over to where James was struggling with the hair brush. "Hold still." Sirius started pulling on the brush. "Ouch! Remus that hurts!" Shouted James, all of a sudden the room grew really quiet. Sirius was awake. "uh oh." Said James remembering the last time he got a brush stuck in his hair, Sirius tried using magic to get it unstuck. Instead of getting the hair brush out of his hair he ended uf growing a larg boil in the middle of his forehead. And the time before that Sirius ending up turning James's hair bright green. It lasted a few days. He wondered why he could have his hair turn green but whenever you tried to make it look nice it would stay messy. James shrugged. "No Sirius don't you touch my hair!" James grunted. But it was too late. "Stand aside Remus! And let some one who knows what his doing figure this out!" James looked relieved. "You had me worried sirius, for a moment there I thought you were going to remove the brush." Sirius grinned evily. "I am." James eyes grew wide. He stared at Sirius who had dark brown eyes, and shoulder length dark brown hair. James was always kind of Jealous of Sirius's good looks. Sirius always had admirers trieing to sit next to him in all their classes. James did too but not because he was good looking, it was because he was one of the the best ones on the quidditch team. He played Seeker. While he was in his second year he won Griffindor the house cup. The look on Snapes face was price less.
