"They're finally gone!" I said, over the phone to Tabbie.
"Is it just you, me, and Amber?" She asked.
"Nope. You, me, Amber, and Jessica. She finally got her parents to let her over." I replied.
After a bit of talking, we hung up. It was going to be great! My parents out of town, and my best friends getting to stay over for two weeks.I waited for them, finally hearing a car screeching toward the house. Has to be them. No one else drives like Jessica's older sister, Paige. I looked out the window, seeing her bright red car. I ran out the door.
"You ready?" Tabbie said with a wicked grin. I knew her plane- stay up late each night, go destroy the town. Jessica would probably just want to read, sit around at the computer and tv, and go that kind of stuff. And Amber would simply want to go hang around at the mall, flirt with guys, and do anything girly.
"Of course." I let them in, waving to Paige. We looked out the window until she was gone.
"We're watching Lord of the Rings first." I said.
"Freya, do you EVER stop watching that freaking movie?" Amber said.
"No. And you know it." I told her. We made our way into my room, and put it in. Blah blah blah blah. It finally ended.
"Ya know, it would be really cool to go and kill all those things." Tabbie said.
"It'd be nice to be that age, too, I mean, what's the point if they wouldn't even listen?" I pointed out.
"They'd listen to me, I have a car." Amber told us. She did have a car. Or at least she used to. She's the only one who's 16, but she wrecked. Quite a few times.
Suddenly, there was a loud crash from outside, and the lights went out.
"What the-" Jessica's voice was heard.
"Hell!?" Tabbie and I said at the same time. Someone tripped over me.
"EEEP! Watch it!" I shouted. It was pitch black.
"Serry" Amber's muffled voice said. There was another crash. I got up, and reached for the light switch. It didn't work. I opened the door instead. The moon was very bright. We all scurried out. Jessica peeked out the window.
"There's something out there." She said.
"I could get my swords?" I volunteered. "Or my bow and arrow."
"I'll take a sword." Tabbie and Jessica said at the same time. I went into my parents room, and got my two swords, and bow and arrow. We got out weapons, except for Amber.
"I could take.um.a big stick? Or I could stay here." I nodded, and the three of us walked out. I was the first one to go. I saw a flash of something that looked like. some sort of blade!
"Who.who's there?" Jessica's shakey voice demanded. An arrow came our way.
"Who the hell are you?" I shouted. When we saw who it was, we all gasped.
"Is it just you, me, and Amber?" She asked.
