Disclaimer: I do not own LOTR, I do not own Legolas (if only... lol I'd feel very sorry for him then.) I am in love with him, but I am NOT obsessed, and this poem is just something I thought up during history class, nothing that special.
=====
Still Heart: Legolas' Inner Thoughts
A lone figure stands
Amidst the shadows
The woodlands breathe silently
In tune with your heart.
Light footsteps fall
The only sound in a world of noiselessness
Magnified tenfold
In the heart of the woods
As agile and swift
You run.
Wind blows your hair
Fanning lightly behind you
A golden cloak
That flows as you turn.
Sharp eyesight penetrates all
To see what lays before
But troubled mist clouds the clear light blue.
You've denied it often,
But ever it lurks in your eyes.
How can you say that you do not love?
The heart in your breast is no stone.
Maybe no matter of love,
But the fearlessness shown in battle does not extend,
For physical pain compares not to the anguish of mental.
Amidst the shadows, a figure weeps,
Alone.
