Harry awoke to see four Barn Owls outside his room. He opened the window and let them in. They started attacking him with their beaks. "ARGGGHHH" Harry yelled and finally got them down. He opened one, it was from the friend Rachel he had made over the summer.
Dear Harry, Hey its me Rachel. I am just writing to see how you are. But I need to talk to you. I dont think Im going to be able to transfer to Hogwarts. I know you wanted me to. Im sorry. Love always, Rachel.
The second was from Hermione:
Dear Harry, I hope you have all your homework done, Ill be very disappointed if you dont. I hope that we can get over the incident last year. So how have you been? I hope you enjoy the book I got you. Its about Quidditch, even though I think reading that stuff is a waste of time, because I know you like it.

The fourth was the usual letter from Hogwarts. He then opened the packages. Rons gift was a Multi- Pack with Chocolate Frogs, Pumpkin Pasties, and some Exploding Snap Cards. Hermiones was the book, and Rachels was a special hook for your broom to make it ride smoother.
