My version of what happened when you go to Balamb when Galbadia is there. You can go into Zells room then.

ZELL'S ROOM

Irvine picked up a gun off the wall.
"No!" Zell yelled.
Irvine looked down the barrel.
"Loaded?" Irvine asked.
"Yeah, I never could get the jammed sheel out of the barrel." Zell answered.
"We'll see what we can do. Hmmm.... if I just shot another bullet it would knock the jammed one out let's try it." Irvine said.
Irvine pulled the trigger... (POW)
"Looke there I told you." Irvine said as he pointed at the hole in the roof.
