Note:
Mr. J.R.R Tolkein gave me the idea for the Hobbit story. I hope it isn't copyright, but anyway, all species/chars belong to him, so we can't stop it, right? Hope you enjoy my fanfic, even though it sucks. I am trying to write more and read more, in fact I am going to start The Hobbit soon. Wish me luck! BTW, some items are made up by me, so yea.
Love,

Chapter One
Yuika-YOO-EE-KAH
Yuika sat back on the frosted grass, ice crystals dripping cold water into her gaping mouth. Her bright green Hobbit eyes flew open and she sat up. Nothing was wrong, but why had she heard the screeching call of a Ring Wraith? Confused, she got off the grass and strolled, the snow cold underneath her bare feet, to the small skate pond, where a young Hobbit boy was skating. She broke the ice with a swift blow of her hammer, and she stuck her feet into the freezing water. She yelped as it bit and nipped her feet, and when they felt numb she pulled them out.
"Ms. Yukia! Look at me!" The boy called, and he twirled and fell straight into Yuika's hole. "Oops! Sorry, Ms. Yukia!" He said. "Didn't mean to disrupt ye ice fishin', Ms. Yukia!"
Yuika looked back with a smile, her beautiful round Hobbit face staring at the boy. "My name is Yoo-ee-kah. Yuika. Sorry." She grinned and walked away.
Welcome to The Shire. Many Hobbits lived here, but the prettiest Hobbit had to be Ms. Yuika, who was often courted by sweet handsomes who strolled The Hill, eager to court Ms. Yuika, though, like the boy, they often got her name wrong.
Yuika had a sweet, round face, bright green eyes that dazzled travelers seeking home or hospitality, and small, dainty lips which proved to show the most beautiful smile ever. She had flowing, bobbed brown hair which hung juuuust below the shoulders, and a slender femme build. She had never considered anyone courting her (Except Frodo-what a hottie! Me-ow!), ever since two of her best friends (Frodo and Sam) left The Shire and got married. She had always had a feeling for Frodo, and only Sam knew that. Yuika considered herself lucky, though, at the fact that she still had two wonderful friends, Merry and Pippin.
"Ms. Yuika!" Yuika heard running and she looked back and turned fully, smiling.
"Ah, Pippin. You're here!" She said, smiling. "You mushroom-head, I brought you a gift." She held out a bag, which Pippin eagerly took.
"Mushrooms!" He cried, and he grinned. "You're the best!" The two friends hugged a friendly hug. Pippin munched on his mushrooms as they continued down the walk.
"I heard some new slime tried to court ye," Pippin remarked, finishing off his 4th mushroom.
"Slime bucket he was! Really talkative too. Wouldn't shut up!" Yuika and Pippin laughed. "Oh, Pippin, I forgot to ask you..."
"Mmm?"
"Did you have 'second breakfast' today?"
"No! Wife's puttin' me on a diet. Lucky me to have ye, though. Ye gave me mushrooms!" He said, still eating.
"Ah, the wife. They'll do that-"
A wicked voice repeated in her cave. "They'll do that..."
