NOTE:This is basically the prelude to a series of writings i'm planning on writing about my favorite addictive internet game Hyrulian War.It's rating is really more of a foreshadowing of future volumes which will probably get pretty gruesome at times.
When one thinks about the history of Hyrule,or simply the nation of Hyrule in general,an overpowering supreme image resides above all others.And that is the tale of the boy from the forest who saved a princess from a tyranical desert mage.The story is long and twisted,but it is agreed the story has three main incarnations.These three stories are The Ocarina of Time,A Link to the Past,and the most recent untitled story.These three incarnations,centuries and decades apart all weave the same tale about the boy and his princess.The Triforce,the three peopled tied to it by destiny.Ganon versus Link,good versus evil.
But there is another legend that few have heard nor remember.A legend even grander in scope and size,one which not involved but three destined souls,but thousands.Yet this legend has been lost in the oceans of history,overshadowed by a superhero fairytale.Presented to decendants that niether remembered nor cared.But no,someone did..........
The story is not of good versus evil,pure versus tyrany.It is about neighboor versus neighboor,good versus good.Species versus species...........
Perhaps this is why this legend has been allowed to be forgotten.It's not a pretty one.It's not sexy or heroic or divine in premise.Not about magicks and holy warriors,or enchanted princesses.It's one about blood and steel,death and hate.Truly an ugly legend..........
Centuries upon centuries before the Ocarina of Time,there was a dark era in the history of Hyrule,the Hyrulian Wars.It pitted the six races of Hyrule in a fight for survival and conquest.The Hylians,the Zoras,the Gorons,the Gerudo,the Kokiri,and the UnDead.Not an inch of the landscape was spared from the bloodshed of this conflict,not a soul spared from the reality of war.
Few rememeber,but those who do will never forget.
And this is their story...............
