A little poem as I feel Duo would have wrote it, Between Duo and Heero.

Shadows Hidden in Me:

The Ballad of Duo Maxwell

I hide in my mind,

Behind my pride,

Can't you see past that silly grin of mine?

I follow my instincts blindly,

Live in loneliness,

And I still just end up getting hurt again.

Now shadows dance around me,

As I chase after you,

And I sense an impending doom,

All around you.

I can't tell,

If it's you,

Or me,

That kisses first.

I want to bring an end,

To this damn war,

So I we don't have to hide,

And I can set my pride aside,

Then you'll see the real me.
