It's not fair.
Why?
Why'd I have to fight?
Only to fail.
I watched them all die.
Everyone I loved.
I never got to say goodbye.
It hurt a lot to die.
It burned so much.
It hurts so much to know I failed.
To know I let the world down.
Daddy I'm so sorry that I failed you.
I never meant to let you down.
My innocent's is shattered.
Laying in broken pieces on the ground.
I'll never be so carefree again.
Knowing what had happened.
Please forgive me.
I never meant to fail.
Author's notes
Innocent's Gone was inspired by the Buu Saga of DBZ. It's really a poem from Goten's pov of how he feels after he's brought back to life. Goten may be a little kid, but believe me a child can feel like this. Depressed, thinking it's all there fault, etc. Believe me I went into a deep depression as a young child, but the reason well... that's a secret.
