In the Void of Time
Disclaimer: I don't own most of the characters, Marion Zimer Bradley does. Telristy, the daughter of Sianna and Gawen does belong to me though. The new priestesses belong to me also.
Authors Note: The title has 2 things to do with the story. The first is that Avalon is in a void in time between the fairy world and the human world. The second you must read on to find out about!
In the Void of Time
What if Gawen never died? Better yet, what if there was a way to bring him back? Would all the new lives that have blessed Avalon with their presence change? Would the void in time be broken?
Sianna walked along the bank of the marshlands. She was finally going to see her! She had waited ten years for this day. The day she would be reunited with her daughter, their daughter. Gawen and Sianna's that is.
Sianna could see the marsh huts coming into view. A young girl, at least fourteen years of age, was running out of the nearest one. Sianna opened her arms and embraced the child.
"I have missed you so much my daughter!" Sianna said in gasps, a waterfall of tears pouring down her cheeks.
"Don't cry mother! We're together now!" the girl said, wiping at the tears with her soft and gentle hand. It reminded Sianna of Gawen so much.
"Oh Telristy, how I've missed you!"
"You said that already mother."
"I know it's just that I've missed you so much more than I can express through saying it even a billion times!" Sianna said with a laugh that sounded just like the rain in spring.
"I am ready to leave. Will I be going with you to Avalon?"
"Yes. You will finally be coming home to Avalon."
"Is Calilean still there?"
"Yes lovely, she's still there."
"Will I get to talk to her?"
"She should be waiting on the banks of the Isle to greet you. So let us leave now so as not to make her wait too long my dear."
"Yes mother."
As the two walked back to the boat and went on the short journey to the isles of Avalon they talked about the changes that have taken place and the new priestesses in training.
E/N: I would appreciate any reviews you might have. No flames please. Just in case you didn't know, Gawen is dead and he is the father of Telristy. He helped to put Avalon in the time void that it's in. If you want to find out more you can read the book Lady of Avalon.
