Author's Note: This is my first time writing "Courage the Cowardly Dog" fan fiction I hope
you enjoy reading this as much as I had fun creating it. Of course all the characters and the show don't belong to me, I'm poor as dirt so you won't get much from me.
"It's All Your Fault!"
Chapter One
"Courage, why do you have to dress up so fancy and all?"
It was time to turn in at the Bagg household Muriel was already in her nightgown and cap and Eustace in his red and white stripped pajamas was sitting in bed fuming at the source of his annoyance Courage, or as he was commonly known as Stupid Dog!
"Take all that junk off Dog! I'm losing me beauty sleep!" Eustace crossed his arms over his chest in frustration.
The farmer's threat didn't phase Courage who knew better then his elderly owners that shit tend to happen when you least expect it, even in the middle of nowhere you were never safe and he should know after being attacked by Vikings, frogs, and whatever the universe decided to throw at them. Sure laugh, this stuff may not seem like such a big threat but wait until it happens to you.
Currently he was decked out in a blue combat vest with a few grenades hanging on the lining and a combat knife tucked in the front pocket although considered useless in situations say, for example, fighting zombies you never know when it could come in handy!
The Machine Gun that he carried rest lazily against one shoulder, completed his uniform.
"You could put away your weapon at least." Muriel said shaking ever so slightly.
It wasn't that firearms scared her, oh no, not indeed! Being a Scottish lass you tend to have uncles drop by ever so often to show off their latest piece to their niece, after a while you tend to know the ends and outs of guns and what not. However the ideal of a machine gun in the hands of a green horn...
Well, it was enough to make anyone nervous.
"Besides don't you think toating something like that is a bit Over Kill?"
Courage stared at Muriel flatly for a second.
"Define Over Kill."
Somewhere in a mansion hidden deep in the forest on the outskirts of Raccoon City, Chris Redfield sneezed.
There was no use in persuading Courage his mind was set and no one was going to change it. He walked over to the night stand next to the bed to get a drink of water and immediately passed out on the floor. Eustace with an evil grin was fingering a white bottle.
"Sleeping pills, gonna get some rest tonight!" He cackled.
Muriel frowned at her husband but at the moment was too tired to wack him over the head with the rolling pen. Maybe tomorrow. Taking a spare comforter she covered Courage with it.
"Sweet dreams." She whispered in his ear.
The pink dog smiled and settle down to dream free of the horrors he faced during the day. Courage dreamed of cuddly pink things that could do no harm to a living being. Reality, however, had other plans. As the hours passed late into the night a white light illuminated
the window. From that light came a creature not of this world, belonging to a race of aliens who usually went by the nickname "Gray". It's large black eyes scanned the area before him and cracked a grin.
"We're going to have some fun tonight!"
